Mochinut is located inside of H-mart, so it's a good place to grab a quick bite to each before you so some grocery shopping. There is a decent amount of seating and the tables are fairly clean. In addition to selling mochi donuts, they also have e a variety of k-dogs, egg sandwiches, and croffles. On this occasion we got a crispy ramen k-dog & egg sandwiches. The k-dog was good and comes covered with sugar. If you don't want sugar make sure to ask for no sugar. My favorite here though are the egg sandwiches. The egg sandwiches comes in a soft bun filled to the brim so it can be a bit messy when you eat it.

The wait was a little long even though we were the only ones there but that's the price we pay for freshly made food so it's not too bad. The k-dogs are crunchy and sweet and salty. Just the right amount of mix of everything you'd want in a quick snack. The area is cute also. Their neon sign lights are trendy and I couldn't help but take pictures of it and with it. Definitely will be back again for their k-dogs and their boba!
Stopped by on a rainy Saturday at noon. This Mochinut is located inside of the Hmart. It was my first time trying a Korean corn dog that wasn't from the frozen section of a Korean supermarket but I think I might prefer the supermarket one. I had the potato half and half and it was very heavy. I liked the hot dog and regretted not just getting a full one. I didn't care for the potato, which was coated in sugar. I usually do like salty and sweet but not this time. I felt like it was mostly just mochi batter. It was also a bit difficult and messy to eat. My husband had the same thing, but he liked it. We also got a Cheetos original to try. This had less batter but it was just soggy crushed up cheetos. We also ordered some mochi donuts to go - ube, matcha, and strawberry. The only one that really had a distinct flavor was the ube but overall, they were all too sweet. The consistency was nice though. The best thing we had was probably the ube bubble tea. I would probably only come back if someone was dying to try one and I will definitely just keep it simple and get the original. But I think for now, I will just make a beeline for that freezer section.

Yes, it didn't matter that I had a bagged lunch from home that day. As soon as I saw there was a Mochinut, it was game over. At the counter, I asked for a Hot Cheetos Half & Half and a Matcha drink. The woman who took my order said it would be about 7 minutes and handed me a little receipt with a number. She called me when it was ready. I handed her the slip of paper, and she handed me the goods. The hotdog still kept when I got back to the office, thanks to the foil bag Mochinut puts them in. It still had a good crunch on the outside, and ooey-gooey cheesy goodness on the inside. I never had the hot Cheeto one before; it definitely had a kick. The cold matcha drink paired well with it. My only picky thing was that I thought the tapiocas were a little meh and not soft, but then again hey these are pre-made drinks so *shrug* In short, I would recommend Mochinut's corndogs and donuts. Also, so convenient being inside H-Mart. If you are on Route 17 in Paramus, it's right there - so no excuses, get your snack on.
The perfect snack while shopping at H mart! The Mochinut is located right in the food court of H mart for convenience. I've been to other Mochinut locations before but this location has the best donuts I've had from a Mochinut because they tasted so fresh and in delicious flavors! They were busy making a lot of donuts. My favorites were ube and papaya! I also had a milk bubble tea and an original mozzarella stick, which had a delightfully crunchy sweet coating that worked well with the mozzarella. We went on a busy Sunday so service was a bit slower than expected but it wouldn't stop me from returning!
Located inside the Hmart Paramus location. First time trying their donuts. I enjoyed it more than I expected. My husband and I shared 3. The breading is super light and airy. The flavors were good, a little sweet. Wasnt too crazy about the Vietnamese coffee flavor though. If you're in the area or shopping for some yummy food-definitely stop by mochinut to satisfy your sweet tooth.
$3 donuts and oh so delicious! They offer some unique flavors like Vietnamese coffee and matcha. I tried the Oreo and it was amazing. A bit doughier compared to Krispy Kreme but delicious nonetheless. Great mid-day snack to satisfy your sugar craving. (Mochinut is inside Hmart to the right upon entrance.)

Came to this Mochinut store after a long time to get half a dozen donuts for a kids party. They had all the available flavors beautifully decorated in front. The stock of each kind was easily visible on the left side. They had some very fun flavors for kids like cookie monster, oreo, blueberry crisps, and nutella. I ordered 6 different flavors for my order. It was so quick. Order and pay, all took less than 2 minutes. The donuts were very popular with kids and grownups. I personally loved the mango flavor. All the donuts were so soft and chewy. Just love their donuts every time. read more

Horrible! When we got here it was just two of us. Ordered 5 :16 pm and then people started coming in. They got everyone orders ready but not ours. 20 minutes later, I asked if our 2 sandwiches are ready, they said oh they're working on it. Had to wait another 20 minutes while everyone else came after us gets their food and leave. Ours didn't come out until 40 minutes later. I told the cashier, while the Korean ma anger standing there that I waited 40 mins. She laughed and said oh really? Oh sorry!!! And the Koran manager just laughed. This is unacceptable. They are rude, and horrible. And my bacon sandwich came out raw!! Grossssssss read more

Good mochinut spot. It is inside the Hmart in the food court. The mochi donuts and corndogs are both good. It's a good stop before and after shopping. The atmosphere is very nice, often crowded. There is a good amount of seating and the seating is for all the mini food shops. read more
Love this place! Pros: - the designs are cute and they don't run out - the food is great! It definitely has the Korean twist that keeps it interesting Cons: - it takes 15-20 min for to-go food - it's in a very busy area of H-mart I'd highly recommend trying their mozzarella corn dogs! read more

Good mochi donuts on the go! The flavors are best and the dough is soft and gooey! Love the ube flavor! Location: It is located inside Hmart grocery store. Once you enter go right side and you will find the food court. There is a few seatings inside, but due to covid it is better to take the donuts home. Service: I did not have any interaction with the employees. We just order and go. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we had UBE, MATCHA, YUZU, NUTELLA, COOKIES and CREAM and BLACK SESAME. My favorites are UBE and BLACK SESAME, they have distinct flavors. The dough is soft and gooey, which is what I like for a mochi donut. Price rating: 7/10, it was not that bad for the price. The donut is good! Will definitely come back here if I visit again Hmart in this location! Get the Ube and Black Sesame! read more
I accidentally found this place, and I'm so glad I did! My friend and I ordered 3 for $9, we chose strawberry, funnel cake, and Vietnamese coffee. Their customer service was so nice! They explained their process of making them, and were so grateful and very kind. When we sat down to eat, these mochinuts were amazing! Totally blew me away by surprise. The strawberry, surprisingly, was my favorite. My friend said it tastes like a strawberry milkshake, but with the fluffy, light texture of mochi. Then the Vietnamese coffee with a soft ginger cookie was amazing, and the funnel cake was good, hard to beat the other 2 flavors. I highly recommend this awesome, little shop in H-Mart, which was impressive in itself, but to have this included is such a perfect pick-me-up! I definitely see myself returning any chance I get! read more

Staff was very pleasant. My 3 year old loved the display, the different colors and lighting, she was so excited to try this out. We picked strawberry and it even comes with a gummy bear! She was so delighted and couldn't wait to bite right into it. Very strong strawberry flavor, sweet but not overly sweet as some American donuts tend to be. Texture was fluffy and felt like biting into a cloud. I wish I could say more but my kid ate the whole thing and I can only write this review off one bite. Nonetheless it is something that I'll definitely try again! Prices were reasonable, I believe it was around $3 per donut. read more
Second place I know in Bergen county that sells Kdogs. This is slightly different because they have more options than the other place in Ridgefield. My favorites are the hot Cheetos sausage and the potato crusted sausage. If you love cheese, spring for the half and half which is a dollar more. Even though I love stretchy cheese, it just is never as good as a mozzarella cheese stick so I usually stick to the sausage. Some options come pre- sugared so if you prefer not to have sugar on it please let them know. The ramen and potato versions go really well with the sweet chili while the hot Cheetos while a tad greasy is the most flavorful. read more
The display is what caught my eye when I was walked into the food court to order some lunch. These mochinuts were too cute to pass up on and omg they were SO soft and tasty. I ordered one for myself and then two to take home. I ate one with lunch and actually managed to save the second for the next day, it was just as soft and tasty as it was the day before. I am so happy that I found this out because a typical doughnut isn't really that great even a few hours later, let alone the next day. There is a flavor for everyone and each mochinut is embellished it a unique little add on, my marshmallow one had a marshmallow moon and the cookies and cream had half a cookie placed on it! Also - don't forget to grab a corn dog. I went with a potato covered, half hotdog and half cheese and it was honestly life changing. I can't wait to bring some friends with me next time so they can experience the deliciousness. Mochinut and corn dogs are a must try for any occasion - especially after working up an appetite from grocery shopping for a while. read more

Amazing service and so excited to take these to my family. Almost cried dropping the donuts on the floor. The staff is so amazing they gave me a discount when they didn't have to. I love how kind the staff was when I was legit going to cry. I will be back!!! read more
Yummy mochinuts and they have cool flavors. Unfortunately, we came a little later in the day so we didn't get to try all the flavors. The staff was very nice though. Bubble tea was good also: not too sweet and boba cooked well. read more
I found this place while I was searching for amazing sweets place to try when visiting Paramus, NJ. It has multiple locations and great reviews and I'm here to say ditto! Everyone loved the donuts we got from here including my picky parents. It's light and not overly sweet, bonus point is the appealing & insta worthy looks of the donuts. Fav flavors were lotus, Oreos, churros and cinnamon. They have independent store locations. The one we went to was inside Hmart across from Westfield plaza mall which was perfect for us, we were able to make a stop here after we shopped and ate at the mall. read more
I really wanted to like it so badly! But sadly it fell short for me. Mochinut is in HMART, in there little food court area. The donuts were premade. So it was fast service. I got half a dozen $17.70 donuts and a Ube bubble tea ! I got 2 ube, 1 churro, 1 strawberry, 1 Matcha, and 1 Vietnamese coffee Ranking of taste Strawberry Churro Vietnamese coffee Ube Matcha The strawberry tasted most like it's flavor. Ube tasted just like a plain donut. The Ube bubble tea was very good. Unfortunately They had no dairy free options since it was a premade mix. Overall the donuts tasted like zeppolis almost with different flavors. Maybe they would taste better fresh or warm? They are very photogenic though! read more
I came here on a Sunday night for donuts and a bubble tea, but they were sold out of donuts for the day. I ordered an Ube bubble tea which was refreshing and not too sweet. It didn't have a strong ube taste which was disappointing, but it won't deter me from trying other flavors. I will stop back for donuts and see how they are. Limited seating in the super small food court, but the staff is friendly and efficient. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite during a stop at H-Mart in Paramus. (This is one of the restaurants in the small food court attached to this H-Mart, found to the right soon after you enter.) For those with allergies, note that these mochi donuts have some wheat flour mixed in and are not gluten free. I'm not even sure there was any glutinous mochi rice in this version, given the extremely light texture. (Was this tapioca flour?) In the past, the (gluten free) mochi donuts I've tried in NYC were far chewier, heavier, and more oil-logged. Mochinut donuts, on the other hand, were surprisingly fluffy and light, very well blotted and non-greasy, crispy on the outside -- in short, everything I find delightful in a donut and then some. Frostings were very sweet, so if you prefer the more restrained sugar of most Asian and Asian-American desserts, go easy, here. Great flavors. We enjoyed the matcha, white chocolate raspberry and mango versions. The little round "knobs" in the donut rings made the donuts easy to partition and share. I think the Korean corndogs we tried were also from the same restaurant (or an adjoining restaurant). These have been quite the craze on Instagram , it seems, for some time, but we are new to the genre. The kids professed to enjoy them though they ate only a small percentage of their dogs. I loved the ultra crispy texture of the crust, but IMO, the overly sugary breading was overwhelmingly, unpleasantly sweet and frankly just foul when paired with those limpid, low-quality hot dogs. These fall in the same camp as Krispy Kreme donut burgers and just aren't for me. I'd rather save my sugar intake for more mochi donuts. read more
Mochinut minus the trip to NY's Chinatown to get some! It's a fun delicious treat and perfect change from the typical doughnut. Situated inside the H mart on route 17 with easy access and parking. Minus one star because they don't carry all the flavors. Each week they have different flavors, so if you're hooked on a special one you have to wait till it comes around. read more

Fabulous place! Smells phenomenal! Love all the flavor options they have. Since I am gluten free, this is based on my kids and husband's palates. They tried the ube, blueberry, strawberry and matcha. My 3 year old didn't like the blueberry but my 5 year old loved the strawberry. My husband liked Al but especially the matcha and ube. He described the doughnut as light and fluffy. He said similar to crispy crème in that it is complex in flavor and light. It's a good doughnut. You will definitely eat more than one. read more

Came here with some friends to see if we could finally try the mochi donuts ive heard a lot about from the Mitsuwa marketplace. And let me tell you I was not disappointed! The Mochi donuts are 10/10 they taste so good. The donuts a reasonably priced we bought a whole box of a dozen mochi donuts. So many of the flavors they have look delicious and they are fun to eat. Mochi donuts in my opinion are an improvement to regular donuts. The shop has a little system where you can only order a select few of all the flavors they offer in the day. Their options are changed everyday i believe so you might go one day and they might not be serving your favorite flavor. Its a smart way to get us to come back for more. I also trued their bubble tea. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea my favorite drink to get at my favorite spot. The drink came in a can like soda which had me thinking that it was going to be some pre made drink they have inna fridge. I was pleasantly surprised that they make the drink and seal the can themselves which i thought was pretty cool. As for the taste the drink was alright it fell a little short for me but was good nonetheless! This is a great place to fulfill your sweet tooth if you are in the mood for some donuts. read more

My original destination was Hmart, but I was so delighted when I saw the food market next door. My sister and I saw the mochi doughnuts in someone else's cart and couldn't resist getting some for ourselves. The area is so cute--perfect even for pictures. The shop has a variety of mochinut flavors, though they don't offer them all every day. My sister and I ordered three mochinuts and the thai tea, which came to around $15 and was totally worth it. The tea was delicious: quite sweet and tasted somewhat like strawberry milk. The doughnuts, along with looking cute, were so tasty and soft. I think my favorite was the churro, but matcha was a close second. They also sell hotdogs in a host of flavors (not the American kind, but the Korean street food kind), which certainly seem worth a try. I definitely recommend this place as a delicious snack or dessert. read more
