Cream yaki buy 5 get 1 free

still as good!! every visit here never disappoints. I even enjoy their red bean taiyaki now! lol i always get their custard but decided to just go try their fishies and i enjoyed it! not that it will replace my love for their custard hehe anyway, place is small and nicely kept. Staff are courteous and ensure each item is fresh and of the best quality. Its cash only still but prices are reasonable. Visited on a Monday evening and items were 50% off!! wohoo!!

MITSUA Marketplace. A one of a kind shopping experience, even if you are not Asian. This place has so much food, specialty shops, a bakery and a great food court. They also have OSHINBO. Thee best place for Taiyaki. On occasion, I'll run in just for a Red Bean Fish, for my wife, or the Custard option for me. A sweet, smiling lady is pretty much the only one who works there. Wait times can be 5 to 10 minutes. But it's really worth it ! Good luck finding parking in the lot on weekends.

This was my first time trying these biscuits, and I have to say, they're definitely worth a try. I ordered two, one for my daughter and one for myself. My daughter picked the one desing like a cute little rabbit. It was smaller in size and had a sweet filling that she really enjoyed. I went for the fish-shaped one, which was a bit bigger and had a bean filling. The pancakes wrapped around it added a touch of sweetness, making the flavor unique and interesting. Overall, I liked it! The textures and flavors work well together, and it's something fun and different to try, especially if you enjoy sweet snacks with a twist. There are sitting areas on other location of the market , noise this average, not too noisy. There is plenty of parking spaces.

A good place for anyone with a craving for freshly made taiyaki/Oubanyaki. Oishinbo is located in the Mitsuwa Marketplace right next to the food court. At Oishinbo, you can either order Taiyaki or Oubanyaki in a set or individually. We ordered a set of six which in my opinion is the way to go. The taiyaki are very large and doughy, and the flavor of the red bean filling is sweet but not too sweet. The store was manned by two employees, who were quick in preparing my order. Price wise, these taiyaki are not cheap at a few dollars a piece, but they are also not expensive. Note, they only accept cash for payment. Oishinbo sticks to a traditional Japanese treat without adding too many bells and whistles, but there taiyaki are nonetheless very satisfying.

Oishinbo specializes in one of my top favorite treats, imagawayaki! Unfortunately, it is difficult to source delicious ones in the city so whenever I can make the rare trip across the Hudson to Mitsuwa, this little stall is the very last stop I make (so I can enjoy piping hot imagawayaki for the ride home). As everything is made fresh to order, expect a wait which can sometimes be 20-40min during peak weekend hours. Not much has changed over the years (except maybe the price). I personally order the 6 for $15 creamyaki pack. The cakes come with little zodiac animals on either side, and split open to reveal delicious, sweet, and piping hot custard. It is sheer heaven.

Red bean stuffed in a Japanese pancake. The red bean stuffing is so fresh!!! This is delicious right off the grill but also later in the day

Got the red bean stuffed pancake. It was really good. The texture of the pancake was just perfect. It is the best eaten fresh right off the griddle, but sometimes life does not always work out that way. But it was still good. Very long lines here - but it is worth the wait.

The taiyaki is one of my favorite desserts. They make it fresh. The outside of the taiyaki has a nice crust. Slightly toasted but not crunchy. The inside is filled with red bean paste that is slightly sweet. The wait is around 20 minutes. It takes a while because it's freshly made.

A nice shop located in the Mitsuwa marketplace, Oishinbo specialize in taiyaki, a small cake often filled with red bean paste. This place is quaint, and offer a simple food for a good price. Food: I personally am not a fan of red bean paste, but they also offer a cream-yaki that is a sweet, but nice custard. Service: I always seem to het the same lady who is always very polite. Street vendor style. Aesthetics: for a small vendor it's nice and gets the job done.

We ordered combo : buy 5 $10 get one free: 2 red bean fish and 4 custard wheels. We were told the fish would take 25 min. So we returned and picked up. No problem there. Food quality is good. Taste is great. Price is reasonable. Will definitely return.

I've only really had taiyaki from Taiyaki NYC and Deli Manjoo so I've become used to the taste of their taiyakis. Couldn't help myself as I was wandering the food court figuring out what to eat so I decided to get a cream taiyaki too. This is good for those who don't really like their desserts to be sweet...as it wasn't too sweet at all. The outside of the taiyaki tasted like pancake batter...so there wasn't much flavor. But it was cheap so a good cheap snack is always a plus in my book. If you're still craving sweets, Royce chocolates usually has a table with free samples (their chocolate is soo creamy and so smooth but soo expensive)

The cream-yaki and taiyaki were sooo sweet as usual. The cream-yaki was better though. Taiyaki was a bit too sweet for me and I wasn't able to finish it.

I usually can't resist these types of street food desserts because the aroma reels me right in. I was so excited for this place the second I walked by the stall but it was an absolute disappointment. I ordered the cream yaki which was about a 10 minute wait but I didn't mind because I knew that meant it would be fresh. When it finally came out, it was very dark and hard in the exterior, seemingly burnt. I took one bite of the outside crust and it was pretty bad. Very bland and dry. I was hoping that after getting to the filling that it would make up for it but sadly, the filling fell short as well. It was slightly sweet but not as sweet as I had expected, to help compensate for the lack of flavor in the crust. The price was very fair for only $2 a piece but I would much rather have the mini egg waffles on the street for only $1.

Another food vendor at Mitsuwa Marketplace that was on our list to try. They didn't open until 11am so we waited around. Ended up coming back and getting some before we went grocery shopping. Not sure if it was worth the wait though. Friend ordered and it took 30 minutes for our order. The first bite I had was just ok. Didn't make me want to take another bite though. Not sure if the ladies were rushed, but they don't seem to be put together well. They fell apart and the seams don't stick. I've had better. For me, 30 minutes for meh wasn't worth it.
