I ended up getting the Matcha Green Tea ($8.75) which comes with strawberry in the match ice cream and topped off with mochi and pocky sticks. Ice cream roll is made to order and always amazes me how they are made, the liquid turns into ice cream. Oddly satisfying, when the they roll the ice cream into a rolled up newspaper shape. came here after dinner for dessert. plenty of street parking available in the area. there was absolutely no one here so we had the whole place to ourselves. we were able to order and get our ice cream in a timely fashion and chat the night away - plenty of table seating inside. they have a lot of options for ice cream (whether you want actual ice cream or rolled ice cream) as well as bubble waffle dessert and milk tea. i personally got the pink thai milk which tasted similarly to strawberry milk - with fruity pebbles and mochi for $8.75. there is a 3.5% credit card fee so i paid in cash. overall no complaints read more

I have wanted to try this new spot since I first saw it opening, it seemed like a fun addition to town. I got the taro rolled ice cream, and I also tasted thai tea and matcha ice creams that my companions ordered. The taro flavor wasn't as prominent as I would have liked - the banana mix in seemed to overpower it. I think that's what gave it a bit of an odd flavor in my opinion (mainly just sweet). The Thai tea tasted better (especially the little bear nilla toppings), but I thought the matcha tasted the best of the three. The rolled ice cream was also difficult to eat as it was frozen solid. The plastic spoons weren't cutting it. Maybe it was so hard because of the bananas. I ended up leaving with half left thinking I'd have some a little later. I ended up just letting it melt. Visited this spot this week for the first time and wanted to see what the line outside the door was all about. I've had rolled ice cream before, but this one tasted so much better! Not sure if it was the flavors I chose or the milk mixture they use as a base I tried the rocky road rolled ice cream. It comes topped with almond slices, mini marshmallows, and drizzled chocolate sauce (whipped cream is optional). I couldn't help but order a second dessert after seeing everyone walk out with what looked like and inverted waffle topped with ice cream. They have preselected combinations of Hong Kong egg bubble waffles that you can pick from or you can create your own. I tried the #9 Nutty Crunchy which was a sweet waffle made-to-order topped with 2 scoops of Butter Pecan ice cream, walnuts, almond slices, and caramel drizzle... speechless! This place is a welcome addition for dessert on Park Ave in downtown Rutherford with lots of options for rolled ice cream, bubble waffles, and bubble tea on the menu! I tried the bubble waffle and liked it a lot - it was made to order so it was warm and lightly sweet, perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The Monkey Business rolled ice cream was great as well with the fresh bananas and caramel sauce. The staff is friendly here. I also appreciate that this business supports elephant sanctuaries! My only suggestion is that they should maybe look into investing in sturdier spoons. Since the rolled ice cream has a hard-frozen consistency, the thin plastic spoon they gave us kept bending in half which made it hard to scoop. Everything else was great though! read more

For those that don't know, this is Thai-style rolled ice cream where they prepare the base and pour it out onto a frozen surface where it's mixed with finely chopped fruits and then formed into rolls. Love to support local and small businesses, so I wanted to try this new spot. Had my mind set on trying the rolled ice cream for the first time and then saw the cookies and cream ice cream and went for it instead. I've also never had a bubble waffle cone so thought I would try it out. The ice cream is homemade and tastes like it too. Creamy and delicious! At first I thought the cone was over cooked and was going to be crunchy, but it actually turned out to be perfect! Nice crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the instead, paired perfectly with the ice cream. The staff was sweet, and explained to me the different options. They also sell bubble tea, but I will definitely be back to try their Thai rolled ice cream next time. I hope this place does well, and sticks around especially till the summer, I think it will really pick up. Only suggestion would be, in the day and age of instagram and tiktok, I highly suggest adding a neon light sign or something on the walls where people would want to come in to take photos. Great find. Got there pretty close to close time, but unlike many other place they served you until they were actually closed. That's how business should honor their open hours. Not close 30 mins early or say kitchen closes 30 mins before closing hour. Just post the hours when you are not serving so we know not to go there.
