Every time I drive past this place, I swear the same thought comes into my head: I gotta stop and grab a burger. At this point, this is easily one of my favorite burger spots in New Jersey. The burger comes out hot and juicy, with that nice sear on the outside while the inside stays tender and full of flavor. Then you have the cheese melting right into the meat, all those juices soaking slightly into the bun without turning it into a soggy mess. And the bun deserves some credit too--soft, fresh, a little toasted, and actually strong enough to hold the whole thing together until the last bite. It's the kind of burger where you take that first bite and immediately know you made the right decision stopping. What I really respect, though, is the consistency. I've been here plenty of times, and it doesn't seem to matter who's working the kitchen--the burger comes out the way it's supposed to. That's something a lot of places around Jersey could learn from. The restaurant itself is clean too, which I definitely appreciate. I actually feel comfortable sitting down and eating here instead of automatically taking everything to go. Prices are fair for what you're getting, especially these days. I wanted to try 30 Burgers, because of the variety of burgers. The paper menu describes every item in detail and they serve a lot more than just burgers (hotdogs, salads, wings, and milkshakes). We ordered the following: Chipotle Bison Burger (Bison patty, cheddar cheese, mayo, lettuce, onion straws, tomato). Mushroom Swiss Burger (Beef patty, swiss cheese, parmesan butter, mushroom). Also, the side order of sweet potato fries were just as good as the burgers. Both of these burgers were juicy, cooked at the desired firmness, and well seasoned. I noticed that the outdoor seating area is well laid out and I'm certain, that the lighting above the outdoor area makes it even nicer in the evening. I also noticed, that music events take place. From karaoke, open mics, and live music. If you can't make it to the Rutherford location there are others in Hoboken, Newark, and Linden. I ordered delivery from 30 burgers, I've never tried their food before. I was craving something spicy so I ordered the six alarm burger, fries and a funnel cake. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my meal. The burger bun was stale, and I wasn't a fan of the sauce flavor. The patty was cooked well done as requested though. The fries were okay, they were over fried though. I was excited to try the funnel cake, which was actually quite good but they didn't include any of the sauces as described (chocolate or caramel). So of course, it was dry. But I just dipped it in some Nutella and it was really good. I don't know if I'll ever order from here again, maybe the funnel cake, in person so I get my sauce! read more

I didn't see chick n chill on Yelp so assume they are connected. I got a double bacon smash burger, boardwalk fries and a chocolate shake. The boardwalk fries didn't taste very fresh. Honestly I didn't really enjoy the chocolate milkshake either! But the burger itself (meat bacon and cheese) was pretty good. Ordered DoorDash for this chilly night and am happy we did! Even for takeout food was packaged and presented well. Fries were still crispy and hot despite being in a brown bag steaming. The burger was still nice and warm and the hotdogs just needed a quick zap. Reheated the mozzarella sticks in the toaster oven along with the fries, although the fries didn't need it. Check out the pic with that gooey mootz stretching. Burger was cooked medium with just the appropriate amount of toppings and not sloppily thrown on. It was also wrapped in paper so you could easily eat it on the street or in your car. Hotdogs were quite enjoyable as I went with a chili cheese onion and a Chicago dog. What I loved about the Chicago dog is that they finely chopped all the toppings more like a relish so it was evenly dispersed. The burger was a bacon cheeseburger and cooked perfectly medium. They definitely did not skim on portion. The regular fries had plenty of flavor so I'm not too sure what seasoned fries would taste like but these were excellent. My son and I was in the mood for burgers the other night, so we hit up 30 Burgers in Rutherford. We ordered online which was a smooth process. As expected, parking is rough. There's only street parking on a busy Park Ave. After circling around numerous times, I found a spot on a side street. Everything was ready when I arrived. Inside was clean and very casual and there are tables inside if you choose to stay and eat as well. I went with the Chicago Dog, The A1 Blue Burger and chili cheese fries. My son got the Mac and Cheese Burger and plain fries. So...... The hot dog wasn't bad. I have a different vision of a Chicago Dog and this wasn't exactly it. The hot dog itself was good. My take on it is a hybrid of a dirty water dog and possibly flash grilled at the end. There was a relish mixture on it that was good but not "Chicago". The hamburger was a disappointment. It took about 4 bites before I even got to any A1 sauce. Then add the fact that there was possibly 2 pieces of blue cheese chunks, at best, on it. Not a good representation of the description. The burger itself was average. Nothing I would run back to. The fries were slightly above average. I'm guessing canned chili, which isn't a bad thing and in this case was a suitable option. I saw an ad on Facebook for this burger place and the special burger for August of a Taco Burger. I just love Mexican food and wanted to try it for a week. I talked my wife into going tonight and I was completely disappointed with my Taco Burger. First off, the meat patties were almost non existent, like an 1/16 of an inch thick, then how exactly WHY would you put yellow American cheese on a Taco Burger? I ordered online with my boyfriend yesterday, but they're two things 1. This is a ghost kitchen. It's not an actual 30 Burgers location 2. You going it smells musty and mildewy in there. the floor is coming up. It's contouring be trying to cover it up with carpet. They're doing a bad job doors. Baseboards walls are dirty. It's not really giving clean environment, which is not good for me because if I'm eating food at a restaurant I want it to be well maintained and clean. Based on the entrance and the smell in there, I could tell that the kitchen is kitchen is probably not clean. The food came out OK I mean it was a burger, but I won't be eating from here again, first and last time the locations in Princeton and New Brunswick are way nicer way cleaner. Walked in and the restaurant was empty and the woman at the counter ignored us. No hello or how can I help you. Another lady came out from the back and greeted us. Customer service aside, the food left much to be desired. I got a bullseye burger which the only flavor was the bbq sauce. The bacon royal burger came with an overcooked egg. The cheese fries were rather skimpy for the price, but at least they were crispy. The banana milkshake was artificial tasting and loose. The new york hot dog was dry and the bun was soggy. My wife ordered a Philly cheesesteak burger & said it was good, I had the six Alarm burger but substituted the beef a turkey patty, the turkey patty was just alright but all the other stuff made it really good, ingredients all tasted fresh. I literally love this place, you might walk past it just going by but if you take a chance and go inside it's totally worth it. I was immediately wowed by all the amazing artwork, and all the back to the future merch because it's my favorite movie! I had the number to the barbecue bacon cheeseburger, it was perfectly juicy with lots of bacon on it, I could've use more barbecue sauce but still delicious. I had it with a side of cheese fries with bacon and I decided to be adventurous and try the shake of the month, pumpkin. My boyfriend got the bacon cheese dog and also really loved it. Onto the burgers - perfection in every way. Perfectly soft buns and jam packed with fresh ingredients. I went for the classic cheeseburger and it was phenomenal. The veggies were fresh, the meat had a nice char. My boyfriend went for the Trenton burger and was also impressed. We also shared a side of fries and they were great too! They came with a really good dipping sauce and a side of ketchup. This place has a small Indian flair to it and offers some specialties. I went in as part of elite checkin week and got the paneer kathi roll, masala and chocolate milkshake! I also got a pretty bottle holder as a Yelp elite perk! The paneer kathi roll had paneer cubes with cucumbers, cabbage, onions and peppers. 30 Burgers (which I just found out is a chain) recently opened (Dec 2020) and while there are some kinks, I think they have potential. Perhaps the staff just needs a bit more training. What some of the reviews mention about them not getting the order right is unfortunately true. I placed an order via GrubHub for pick-up, with specific add-ons, and almost none of them were added on. This is what we ordered: Lamb Gyro Kati Roll - added an egg, which was the only item that they got right. The gyro was actually pretty good, and they gave a good amount of it Crispy Chicken Burger - added American cheese, which I didn't get even though it was written on the receipt they printed. Most of the sandwich was pretty good but as I got towards the end of it, I noticed that most of the breading had slid off. The sandwich wasn't piping hot because I'm pretty sure they just took it to the back and stuck a slice of cheese in it to correct the order (which probably could have also been the reason why the breading was sliding off, since it was getting cold). Overall, it wasn't bad but I think the Wendy's or Popeye's crispy chicken sammie is much better and it's slightly cheaper El Paso Burger (roasted poblano peppers, sauteed onions, bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, lettuce, and chipotle mayo on a maui onion bun) - we ordered an extra patty on here, which we paid for but wasn't listed on the receipt. It seemed like they didn't really believe me (like I was trying to weasel a $2 patty out of them or something) so I literally had to go into my GrubHub app and prove that I paid $10 something for the burger instead of the standard $7.99. Other than that, the burger was actually really good - albeit messy. Same situation here - the burger was just warm because instead of making a brand new one, I think they just stuck an extra patty in there We ordered two sides of fries as an add-on to the sandwich because we thought they would be tiny side portions. However, they were actually full size orders of fries, so we were only able to finish one. The fries come with some kind of thousand-islandish/mac sauce-esque dipping sauce, which I really appreciated. I love a good fry sauce. Yes, it's greasy but it's burgers and fries. If you're coming to 30 Burgers, you're coming for the guilt/food coma-inducing grease. I would come back but probably wait a bit until after they're settled. And maybe next time, I'll just order in store. Tip - there are a few tables outside next to the shop. No one was there at the time, and it was a warm January day, so it made for some great outdoor dining.
