Apologies for the photo of eaten food! Forgot to take a photo before I devoured my delicious burger. Came across this place on social media; awesome take on burgers! Menu is pretty darn simple. I went with a double and added bacon and hot dog to it; absolutely delicious! Burger is homemade and made to order. The taste of the burger sets them apart as the patty has peppers and other flavors infused in it. Ordered easily online and was very graciously welcomed and sent on my way with delicious food. Near home so I'll definitely be back!!

Where: Hamburguesa - 403 Hackensack St., Carlstadt, NJ What: The Classica - Meat, Lettuce, Tomato, Jalapeno, Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, Yellow Cheese. The Classica burger was not what I expected. I should have known something was different when I realized all descriptions of the burgers on the menu are referred to as "meat" just as in my description of the Classica above. There is no mention of beef, chuck, blend, sirloin, brisket, pork, moose, elk, nothing but "meat". On my first bite, the large dose of mustard hit me, then a vinegary bite of the jalapeno followed by more mustard. I never really did taste meat or bread or whatever it is. I'm not bashing Hamburguesa, the burger just isn't to my taste. With that said, the meat is more like a meatloaf, and with what I'd estimate to be just about 50% breadcrumbs of some type. It tasted a bit like Italian style breadcrumbs with dry parsley mixed into the "meat" the way my family would start a meatloaf or meatballs. This isn't the type of burger you can specify a temperature for either. It' comes out the way you see it in the photos. The abundant amount of lettuce was great, but the heaps of mustard tasted as if I was eating a mustard sandwich. At $9.60 I thought it was a bit pricey for what it is given today's burger competition (2023). All in all you may like it, I didn't. I encountered this same type of burger back in 2013 at a burger restaurant in Tenafly called: "Blue Star Burgers" which closed very soon after it opened (surprise, surprise). If you want to sell a meatloaf style burger, put it on the menu as a "specialty" or tell me what it is beforehand so I can make the call. If you do try Hamburguesa and you like it, you'll be happy to know you can double your Classica burger "meat" for just $1 dollar extra.

By far, one of the best places to grab a burger! Everything is prepared and cooked when ordered, nothing pre-made. The first two pictures are of the inside, there are other tables as well! The middle 3 are how the food is served. I ordered "La Diabla" and was an outstanding combination of flavors! The buns were soft when biting but not soggy at all, which to me is a must! The meat patty tasted and was cooked perfectly, even on every bite. Theres really nice heat in burger because of the the Jalapeño Peppers and Chiltipin Pepper sauce! The last picture is proof of what i stated above!

Something different in the NJ burger would, Mexican street style burgers. You find the biggest difference with these burgers here is the Jalapeño cheese combined with mix of ground flank steak and regular beef along with the usual veggies and mayo ketchup. Wash it down with a juice drink from a brand you don't find at your local supermarket, Boing, they comes in guava, mango, tamarind, strawberry, pineapple, lime, grapefruit.

Mortal Burger....barely any burger meat and 6 potato chips. Idk...

Straight to the point... the burger was SO thin, it was literally crumbling apart while holding the burger. I ordered the Mortal burger and was excited to eat at this place after MONTHS of Coming soon signage but damn, it was disappointing..I would suggest the owner and cook to fix the burger situation, SERIOUSLY just make it ALITTLE BIT thicker...I REALLY did not even taste the burger. NGL! Also, add french fries to your menu...you can't serve a burger and give me 7 little homemade potato chips. For real? Let me know if you ever fix the burger and add french fries to your menu.

It was NYE and we were hungry. I was craving for a burger and we decided to try a new place. Glad we stopped in because we were happy customers:) The burgers were made to order and you can dine in or order to go. We opted to dine in while we waited & we enjoyed the old school music in the background. I guess you can also play with their foosball while you wait. Overall the burgers were delicious & the the fries were my favorite. Come if you want a different kind of burger for the same price of those fast food joints. At least you know here it's made to order and you get ... #supportlocalbusiness #supportsmallbusiness

We started with the Guacamole and chips and the vegetarian nachos. Both came out very quick and were excellent. We also ordered drinks and they also came out in a timely manner. I had a mojito, my stepmother had a margarita and my dad had the sangria. Drinks were pricey and a bit weak but overall good. We ordered our food and I had the Thursday lunch special Birria which was very nice and tender, my stepmother had the chicken burrito it was huge and very good and my dad had the shrimp and steak fajitas which he loved. We ended the meal with the outrageous churros piping hot and such a sweet surprise!! We talked with Yanci who is the owner's daughter and she was so nice and sweet. Best part about this place is the atmosphere everywhere you look it just gets better. The decor is awesome and everything just went perfect together. I read other reviews about how it probably is on a busy night and I'm happy we came when we did... that it wasn't hectic and loud. We would definitely come back again for lunch to enjoy a drink and share our food (because we all left with extra left overs) Overall definitely give it a try.

I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.

Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. They were, without exaggeration, the worst drinks we've ever been served. We politely asked if they could be remade and explained how bad they tasted. The waiter told us they could make new drinks but would still charge us for both the disgusting drinks and the replacements. He said he'd speak to the bartender, then disappeared and only returned when our food arrived, clearly trying to avoid the issue. When I asked if he spoke to the bartender, he casually said, "That's how the drinks are made," and that nothing could be done. At that point, we accepted the overpriced drinks and didn't even drink them. It was Taco Tuesday, which somehow made things worse. The tacos didn't meet even Taco Bell standards. To make matters unacceptable, I bit into a taco and pulled out a hair from my mouth. Based on how dismissive the waiter had already been, I hesitated to say anything and unfortunately, my instinct was right. When my friends told him about the hair, he laughed and said it was my hair, then claimed the chef is bald so it must be mine. I'm not sure how my hair would end up inside a taco, but he outright accused us of planting it there. After that, we were ignored for the rest of the night. The restaurant was practically empty, yet the service was hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional. The atmosphere felt dead and uncomfortable. This used to be a nice place, but that experience is completely gone. Between the awful drinks, low-quality food, and shockingly rude service, this was an all-around terrible experience. We won't be returning.
