Visited with my mom and ordered two cones. We each got two scoops & it came out to $12. If you visit, they have a cash only policy. Service was quick and the place was very cute! Ice cream was delicious and is all homemade. Definitely try it if you are in the area!

Now that they reopened the bathroom for customers I will do another review. Service is always good. Interior with seating . Many ice cream flavors. My favorite is pistachio.

    Warm brownie sundae.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got a warm brownie sundae and my husband got a banana split. Both were very good.

Ice Cream Charlie's is a perfect place for a quick dessert. Remember, this is a CASH ONLY establishment. You don't have enough cash.....no worries.....there is an ATM, right across from the cashier. The selections that we made were very good, the staff was very friendly, and helpful. I appreciated their more than reasonable prices, as well. The eatery is small, but during the time that we enjoyed our ice cream, inside, we saw customers coming in and out. Many of them were frequent visitors, because the staff recognized them. I highly recommend Ice Cream Charlie's and you'll definitely enjoy their products.

Yuck. Lots of flavors to choose. I tried and bunch and sadly optes for one I didnt try. The cherry vanilla is awful. Has a fake sugar taste and weird after bite. Very sugary ice cream. Not well balanced ingredients. Also, pretty pricey compared to other and better homemade ice cream. $6.50 for regular.

Everything here is delicious, some of my favorite cookies and cream in the state of NJ. The scoops are huge and they always have a lot of flavors to pick from!! Always a pleasure to visit!

Came in on a Thursday evening around 8:30/9pm. It was busy but they had 3 people working so the line moved fast. Lots of flavors and you can sample things! You have the option of a bowl, sugar, waffle or decorated waffle cone. And they roll the ice cream in sprinkles if you want! Flavors picked: chocolate PB, strawberry poptart, fruit loops, Oreo cookie and mint chocolate chip. All the flavors were delicious- my only complaint is the mint flavor was clearly a green artificial mint flavor (more toothpaste mint). Portions were decent size. A few of us said 1 scoop and got 2 scoops. Unsure if we were charged for that or not. Area inside is small with a few tables and chairs. They have some funny cutouts in the windows of ice cream themed things. We took ours to go and ate in the park where music was being played. Total was $24 for all of us - while good it did seem a bit pricey. Also they only take cash which I hate this day in age. That's probably my biggest complaint about this place.

Who doesn't need some delicious ice cream during quarantine? I passed by around 2pm during a walk and decided, I've exercised enough. Time for some ice cream, but I realized as I was passing by the CASH ONLY sign tore my heart to bits since I only had my debit card on me. The day went by and I couldn't stop thinking about some chocolate ice cream, so I convinced the mister to take a walk with me...and to bring some cash haha. We walked in around 7:45 and they're closing at 8:30 recently, despite what google says. I wanted a pint of their delicious chocolate raspberry turtle ice cream, knowing I'd want extra to freeze. My boyfriend got a coffee cone with chocolate sprinkles. Both were great but their chocolate ice cream is something else. Super rich and creamy, chocolate fans rejoice. Their prices around bad either. I think a pint was around 6 dollars and that's basically Haagen dasz prices anyway. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, the gals behind the counter are super nice even through this tough time. I'd highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area and you're craving something sweet. Or if you're a little sad which is ok during quarantine. You can also call ahead and just pick up your order!

Quaint little ice cream shop that has that Mom & Pop feel. Wonderful fun selection of flavors to choose from. Cash ONLY, but there is an ATM inside. They offer more than just scoops of ice cream as well. Such as, floats, sundaes, ice cream cakes etc. Love this place!

YUMMY. Medium left, Small right under 10 bucks

Great little mom and pop old school ice cream shop. They'll let you try all the flavors. My absolute favorite is the Cherry Vanilla... old school creamy ice cream. Definitely worth driving to... street parking is not hard at all... and a park up the block where you can sit to enjoy the deliciousness.

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The shop is small with limited places to hang out -- there's a small counter where you can stand and sip your coffee. Otherwise, they have a few small tables outside. There's a second room which has cute merch and a fridge with additional cold beverages for sale. I tried the vanilla latte and took home some treats! The spinach handpie - basically a spinach/cheese breakfast pastry, the cinnamon roll (to die for!! It was fluffy and sweet but not overly sweet like other places are), and a pumpkin cheesecake bar with pomegranate seeds. What I really like about Erie is that they make all these delicious treats and once they are sold out, they're sold out. They don't make more for the rest of the day and they don't waste food. It's always fresh!

Our area has no shortage of bakeries but those of us that have sampled a number of them realize, there are truly ones that stand out from the rest. Erie Coffee Shop & Bakery is one of those bakeries! Cute old school bake shop. Really nice and professional staff. I went in trying to be "good" and not some out with a lot. Easier said than done in this bake shop. Everything looks amazing! I asked for recommendations and left with the citrus olive oil cake, chocolate chip cookie, almond cookie, and a Madeleine. Within a couple of hours, I devoured the citrus olive oil cake. Absolutely perfect! Hint of citrus and just the right amount of moist. Also, the perfect size to feel fulfilled without feeling overly guilty. Later that night, I went for the almond cookie. Amazing texture, truly better than any almond horn I've had. The next day, I broke a piece off of the chocolate chip cookie that we got for our daughter. Perfect cookie. Then I reached for the madeleine, better than any literary device I've ever had! Transported me to my couch, where I speechlessly consumed it with some tea! Awesome! I'll be back!
