I ordered the coconut almond kid size cup since I was already full from my dinner. I can't wait to come back here to try more of their ice cream. I love ice cream, I am huge fan of ice cream especially in the warmer months. The service was amazing, we did step into the business pretty close to closing time and the staff allowed us to sit down and have our ice cream while they cleaned up and were getting ready to close the business for the day. I've been coming here since I was a kid and every time this place delivers with friendly service, mom and pop vibes, and of course delicious ice cream flavors. They post on their facebook page some daily unique flavors which always seems to always sell out. They are a cash only establishment with a few tables for customers to sit. They also do some amazing milkshakes and ice cream cakes if you wanted to try other options. I ordered the ice cream cake a few years ago for my birthday and I loved the vanilla and chocolate ice cream layers with the oreo/cake crumb - it is so reminiscent of my childhood for sure! horrible place Today there were some middle school age kids, one needed to use the restroom and the woman at the counter barked at one of the girls that it's not a public restroom and she could see that there were not going to buy ice cream. I understand the technical rule about restrooms for paying customers but these were young kids who were probably at the park and just needed to use the restroom. There are several ice cream shoppes in the town that sell much better ice cream and have friendly staff. They don't have weird cash only rules either. read more

Came in on a Thursday evening around 8:30/9pm. It was busy but they had 3 people working so the line moved fast. Lots of flavors and you can sample things! You have the option of a bowl, sugar, waffle or decorated waffle cone. And they roll the ice cream in sprinkles if you want! Flavors picked: chocolate PB, strawberry poptart, fruit loops, Oreo cookie and mint chocolate chip. All the flavors were delicious- my only complaint is the mint flavor was clearly a green artificial mint flavor (more toothpaste mint). Portions were decent size. A few of us said 1 scoop and got 2 scoops. Unsure if we were charged for that or not. Area inside is small with a few tables and chairs. They have some funny cutouts in the windows of ice cream themed things. We took ours to go and ate in the park where music was being played. Total was $24 for all of us - while good it did seem a bit pricey. Also they only take cash which I hate this day in age. That's probably my biggest complaint about this place. read more

Who doesn't need some delicious ice cream during quarantine? I passed by around 2pm during a walk and decided, I've exercised enough. Time for some ice cream, but I realized as I was passing by the CASH ONLY sign tore my heart to bits since I only had my debit card on me. The day went by and I couldn't stop thinking about some chocolate ice cream, so I convinced the mister to take a walk with me...and to bring some cash haha. We walked in around 7:45 and they're closing at 8:30 recently, despite what google says. I wanted a pint of their delicious chocolate raspberry turtle ice cream, knowing I'd want extra to freeze. My boyfriend got a coffee cone with chocolate sprinkles. Both were great but their chocolate ice cream is something else. Super rich and creamy, chocolate fans rejoice. Their prices around bad either. I think a pint was around 6 dollars and that's basically Haagen dasz prices anyway. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, the gals behind the counter are super nice even through this tough time. My only reason for not giving it the 5 stars is because with the technology we have in place today, I would think that they would at least offer CashApp, Venmo or Zelle. We used to come here once a week and will never return. I got ice cream for 5 of us and spent about $20 plus tips. I think Rita's or Coldstone usually cost us about 30+. It is tucked away past the Post Office. Away from the main area, where most are walking, but it is right by Lincoln Park which is a nice spot to sit and have your ice cream. I simply entered this business expecting your standard run-of-the-mill ice cream parlor, but little did I know that this was the day my life would change-- a reawakening if you will. It all started when the young slim (but well-built) man helped my girlfriend and I. He was very helpful, gave great suggestions, and was also quite funny. I was somewhat disturbed to see my girlfriend biting her lips and twirling her fingers around her hair as he was boasting about his ability to put whip cream elegantly on her cone, but golly did he make her quite a killer delicacy. It was well worth the money though. The only complaint I have is with the raspberry ice cream had freezer burn so I had to throw out most of that flavor.
