Very nice ice cream and candy, seating inside. Good quality and good assortment. Friendly service . Fair prices. Good toppings. Parking is on street .

Can you even with how cute these are!!!!

When you drive down Stuyvesant Ave, out of the corner of your eye you can see this huge beautiful floral arrangement that is outside of Trina's! It's absolutely gorgeous and only foreshadowing the beautiful interior of this shop. Decorated from floor to ceiling, everywhere is decorated perfectly. Onto the treats - anything and everything you could hope for. They have chocolates for every occasion. Valentine's Day was around the corner and I stopped in for chocolate and caramel covered apples which they had - beautifully decorated also. The Jennifer Coolidge cookies absolutely made my day, I mean does it get any better? Yes, it does. There's an ice cream shop next door! Trina also has some fantastic milkshakes I keep eyeing on her Instagram. They look beautiful and with super delicious flavors. I'll absolutely be back to get some of the fun flavors of Oreos and more chocolates! Of course I'll just have to try some ice cream while I'm there. The staff is also super friendly and the store is very well ran. Look into this beautiful shop for any catering needs too!

Just admiring this work of art.

I absolutely love this place. After passing by every night on the way home from work, we finally ventured over to try out this fairly new "treat" spot. My son is very traditional and got a basic milkshake. I got the Carmel pretzel ice cream with Nutella and yes.... captain crunch toppings. It completely worked. The ice cream was excellent quality and the toppings are just phenomenal. They have from the most traditional and basic to completely thinking outside of the box. If you're in the area on a nice warm day or evening, definitely swing by for some of Trina's Cool Treats!

First thing I gotta say is mom and pop icecream shops hit the spot when craving dessert !! Trina's treats is the cutest icecream pastry parlor in lyndhurst NJ. It's well decorated with a great theme going on. For all the pink lovers - this is the place to be. They have so many homemade icecream flavors ranging from dairy to dairy. Their milk shake menu is extensive and creative. AND the milkshakes look so beautiful too My boyfriend was particularly a fan of this place because they made him an icecream sandwich using whatever flavor he wanted 10/10 will go back soon

This ice cream shop is so cute to walk into, the decor is adorable but it's too bright! I had cake batter & pistachio ice cream but it wasn't as good as I expected (I've had better). However, if you're looking for a cute spot to take pictures and have a small dessert definitely check them out!

Such a cute place with delicious ice cream! Definitely a few photo ops with the floral arrangement at the entrance and the pink... everything! Perfect for a few pics with the girls while you stop for a cone, or a quick date night if you're in the area. The store was super clean and had both indoor and outdoor seating (not to mention a cute pink comfy couch I wish I could take home). They have a few treats other than ice cream to choose from (chocolate covered Oreos/pretzels, brownies, etc) and the cone options were exciting looking but we wanted to share so we got a bowl with one scoop. The attention to detail of the treats and decor is definitely a 10/10. The cookies and cream ice cream was seriously delicious. I would say it's a tad overpriced for the size but you're paying for that extra cuteness since it's not your typical Dairy Queen. It would be cool though if they had some recommended sundae options that come with different topping combinations because I'm pretty indecisive lol but that's my own problem. But overall still a yummy treat and a cute shop.

This place is mostly overhyped for the quality of treats they offer. My friend and I came for ice cream and she said her cone tasted old and stale. Maybe they had pre made them in batch, but there is no reason to give people stale cones. The ice cream I believe they use "Nasto's Ice cream" from Newark which is supposed to be good, but we both thought it was flavorless and bland. Nothing special about it. You are better off buying a pint of strawberry Hagen-Dazs that has real strawberries in it. The only thing worth coming here for is all the decor and selfies you can take. The treats are overpriced in my opinion each little cake sickle ranges from $4-6 each, depending on what theme you want to order. I got a price quote for my bridal shower and Trina's was the most expensive out of all the places I quoted and again, nothing extra or special about it. If you're looking for a photo op with average, overpriced treats this is the place to come.

How cute is this place!! The decor is so nice inside. We found a table and took some pictures. We had the pink taco and it was plenty enough. We also had an Oreo shake which was really tasty. Parking was easy on the street. I'm glad it's open long hours! Will definitely return.

Delicious chocolate here. I bought chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. All were great. I plan on stopping here again when in the area.

Smaller menu but a cute little shop that's reasonably priced. Staff was kind too. Interested in going back to see what else they have.

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Okay, so let me set the scene:…read more We're waiting to order at the counter. Meanwhile, an adorable grandma is struggling to find change to pay for her shot of espresso. Hubby gallantly steps in and offers to cover the tab. The friendly staff pooh-poohs him: "Oh no, don't worry. Dona Elsa will pay when she comes in for her coffee tomorrow." I ADORED witnessing that and instantly fell in serious like. Love, I reasoned, would only happen if the baked goods were as enchanting as this first impression... At any rate, hubby, kid and I were here primarily for some Egg Tarts. 'Cause I can no longer get on the 1 & 9 without detouring in either Newark, Elizabeth, and now, Kearny for some of these custardy, flaky cups of goodness. We grabbed a couple Regular and couple Chocolate. Yes, Chocolate!!! Just based on appearance, these look like any other Egg Tart, but then you take a bite and realize there's a thin layer of melty chocolate on the bottom. Woa. Pinch me! Seriously though, these are delicious, boasting an ultra-flaky crust and rich custard. Look for the ones nestled in brown cupcake wrappers. As for the Regular Egg Tarts, they were good too, but the Chocolate ones stole my heart. We also got two small, rustic round loaves of Broa, aka the Cornbread that reviewers rave about; one classic and one with chorizo. The former was dense, faintly sweet, and crusty, while the latter was packed with thin slices of savory, crisped sausage. Some of the most uniquely delicious bread I've eaten in a long time. I don't think it's made with only cornmeal, but rather, some sort of mix that includes wheat flour... All I can say is that with a generous slather of butter, we were in carb heaven. Freezes well, too. Fwiw, hubby got a shot of espresso and was into it. And he is a coffee snob. Big time. Bottom line: That enchanting first impression absolutely evolved to love. This little cafe cum bakeshop is clearly a popular neighborhood hub, which gets me every time. And the Egg Tarts are quality. In fact, I'd venture to say their flaky crust, in particular, could compete with Teixeira. Yeah, that's right. Plus, I need more of that Broa in my life. Lots more. Ultimately, this has that intangible special something that may just make it a regular stop for me.
