If you're dairy free - Leo's is the place for you. Absolutely all of their Italian ices are dairy free! And they have an extensive menu with tons of options. My boyfriend and I came late night and there was a small line which moved quick. Some of the people in front of us were tasting lots of samples and they were very generous with that. When it was our turn we basically knew what we wanted. My boyfriend is dairy free so when we asked about the Italian ice I was shocked because I had never seen so many good flavors being completely free of dairy. I am not dairy free and went for a scoop of their s'mores ice cream which was really great. Perfect little summer nighttime treat. I'm very happy we stopped by here, I'm sure it won't be the last.

After hearing and seeing this small establishment on Kearny Ave, I finally made it here. I'm reading the reviews and yeah, I was nervous. Let's start with that there is street parking on a very busy road. It didn't affect me but during peak times, you may just need to find parking on a side street. Not the end of the world. My particular experience, I got a spot right in front of the store. We wound up getting there ten minutes prior to them closing. So right out of the gate, you have to be prepared for rough service because everyone is tired and pretty much "done". Not here. The two women working there were ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. They were giving me tastes of their specialty flavors before I was even asking for them. Speaking of which, get the Salted caramel pretzel. Thank me later. I got the large Sundae which came with two scoops, so I also got the recommended banana, PB ice cream as well. As I sometimes like to do, since I pretty much like everything, I let the "house" choose the toppings. She asked if there was anything I was completely against. The nerds candy would've been weird, but if they chose it, I would've went with it. Lastly, the price can't be beat. For ice cream for four people didn't even come close to other places. I had to look twice because it was so inexpensive and the quality is superior than these other places. Definitely my new go to spot. That take CC/ Debit which is huge for me since I NEVER have cash on me.

Best ice cream in the area. It's fresh, creamy, and flavorful. Finally a spot that has pistachio nuts in their pistachio ice cream! I've had their banana and strawberry as well both were delicious, but pistachio is definitely my favorite.

OMG! Genius! The sweet and salty caramel pretzel is the perfect flavour combination and the best we have ever had in our lives! Also, love the staff! We will continue to come to Leo's and leave amazing reviews

It's about an hour and a half drive from Philadelphia, but it's always worth it. I ordered the General James Honey Fried Chicken for the table, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! The four jumbo wings came out piping hot and so crispy! We poured the sauce over the chicken after putting it on our plates, and the combination of that crispy, hot chicken with the sauce was absolutely delicious. Definitely something I would order again! For my meal, I had the brisket grilled cheese with its delicious combination of cheeses and French onion soup. One of my dining guests ordered lamb with mac and cheese and spinach. I tasted the lamb, and it was incredibly tender! They also raved about the mac and cheese. Another guest ordered the oxtail Rasta pasta, which I sampled, and it was absolutely delicious. Another enjoyed waffles, and we also tried the cornbread with strawberry butter. I appreciated that the cornbread was lightly sweetened and not overly sweet. The lavender lemonade was another hit, with just the right amount of sweetness. What I really appreciated was the hospitality. Because we were traveling from Philadelphia, traffic was unpredictable. The staff graciously allowed me to adjust our reservation while waiting for my guests to arrive and seated us at the next available table once everyone was there. That was greatly appreciated! If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making reservations in advance. For larger groups, call the restaurant directly and plan as early as possible because they get extremely busy. They also have a separate takeout area with seating where you may be able to order and enjoy your food if you don't have a reservation. Overall, my Philly Tastemakers guests rated their meals 10 out of 10! Everyone enjoyed their food, and I was happy to introduce them to one of my favorite dining spots. The hot latte and Bottled Shirley Temp Tops Diner, you did it again! Great food, wonderful hospitality, and another memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

I can't say enough about him. He made our experience absolutely fantastic. The disco fries were HUGE and came with a large side of gravy. I like that they didn't put the gravy on the fries so they wouldn't get soggy. We also got a turkey club which was perfect and blueberry pancakes. You also start out with fresh delicious homemade bread. We were full but ordered cheesecake cake and chocolate cake to take home. We were so impressed how much all of the staff really hustled! The bathrooms were nice as well and offered mints and mouthwash. Great experience. Especially our server. Bravo!!!

Plus, my husband is a fan of their dairy-free chocolate chip cookies, so the Montclair location is a late-night haunt. My dude sticks to his usual order, but I like to try out the limited recipes when they drop. My favorite so far has been Strawberry Shortcake Chip Crookie. Heads up, the crookies are really like muffins. Anytime I've gone inside the shop to pick-up, the people behind the counter are always friendly and have a good vibe. Chip City is a franchise that specializes in baking cookies with a soft, gooey center. The Montclair location is on a busy main street. Street parking is difficult to find during peak hours. It's conveniently open until 1AM on weeknights and 3AM on weekends! When I walked in, I couldn't get over how cute and bright the store was. It's small with very limited seating. To whoever is in charge of the marketing, design, and logos... kudos to you! A very sweet and friendly employee answered all of my questions and helped me out. Since I came much later in the evening, I was worried there wouldn't be that many cookies available, but I was wrong. There were plenty AND they were still fresh too! They offer classic flavors as well as seasonal and specialty ones. Flavors are rotated weekly and you can check the website for the line-up. Dairy free options are available. There's a ton of creative flavors, so don't miss out! In addition to regular cookies, they also sell crookies (croissant/cookie hybrid), cretzels (croissant/pretzel/cookie hybrid), ice cream, and merchandise! Each cookie is around $5+, but trust me... they are dense, large, and can be shared with other people. Did I want to buy 4? Yes... but I have self control (sometimes) LOL, so I stuck with buying a classic Cookies N' Cream. It has a buttery sugar cookie base loaded with crushed chocolate cookie sandwiches and creamy white chocolate - basically tastes like an Oreo milkshake! What I love about these cookies is that they don't just taste like a giant blob of sugar. You can actually appreciate and distinguish between the different flavors and ingredients. If you prefer crispy/crunchy cookies, you probably won't be a fan. If you enjoy cookies with a slightly crunchy exterior, but a soft, warm, ooey, gooey (almost raw-like) interior, Chip City is for you! Every bite is sweet & decadent, but not overwhelming. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program to get discounts and freebies! GET GOOEY!!!
