She was able to suggest some of her favorite flavors, including the ube and Vietnamese coffee. Second, all of the ice cream that we got was so delicious and creamy. I got the Oo-Bae-Bae (ube and coconut flakes), my boyfriend got the Camp & Chill (graham cracker and chocolate), and my friend got the Dream Team (strawberry, banana, and nutella). Ice cream is great but seeing rolled up and mixed with one of the 10 creations they have is very entertaining, though currently for safety purposes being inside isn't permitted for long amounts of time. The wait seems a bit longer since you can't watch the process presently but it's worth the wait. The ice cream combos are great though. They all have super fun names for each flavor, and there's a lotttt of them to choose from. They call out your name and basically give you the whole show. Our connoisseur also kept asking if we wanted extra chocolate sauce or other options. Obviously the answer was always yes. He saw we were together then hand torched 2 marshmallows and stuck them right on top of his beautiful creation. You really just can't beat this place. The eat-in area is small and there was an obnoxiously loud group of teens. So the noise level can be a bit much depending on who is there. Other than that, the staff was very helpful when making suggestions. During COVID you can wait online as they take one party at a time inside. They chopped the ingredients (most fruits) and mixed with condensed milk on a frozen cold plate. I love that they don't charge you for additional toppings here, it's unlimited - everythings for a flat rate of $7 which is not bad at all. The staff is great, extremely welcoming and friendly. The wait hasn't been too bad for me yet, approximately 10 minutes after you place your order. I love how everything is made fresh - just milk/cream with whichever ingredients your heart desires and the staff will crush it down! It's actually quite fun to watch. It's like dessert and a show! Scooping out ice cream is cliche now. I see some comments that it is expensive, and it is definitely on the pricier side of ice cream, but the rolls aren't exactly something you can buy at a container at Shop Rite. As an occasional treat, it was great to watch them pour out the ice cream and do their art and roll it up. There are like 10 different kinds and unlimited toppings! I went for the "hulk smash" matcha/strawberry ice cream because I wanted something more unique. I added mochi, pocky, and coconut flakes. I was tempted to go overboard with toppings, but I don't think everything would go with matcha. It was crowded when I went, but they moved the line really fast and had multiple employees able to roll out and make orders. There isn't a ton of seating but there's some and parking might be challenging as that's just the nature of Bloomfield Ave. I'd recommend parking a block or two over and usually you can find street parking with no meters. If it's nice weather, it's good to eat and walk. It is quite a bit per serving, so I could see sharing one wouldn't be unreasonable. I very much look forward to coming back at some point in the future to try the other flavors. I'd say that this place is worth checking out. There are a LOT of places to grab a bite to eat on nearby, so make a stop here after a meal, but leave enough room to get this! read more
