Solid. We were craving ice cream and gave this shop a shot. The order was done quickly and accurately and was well-presented. Toppings were generous and plentiful. Came here this past weekend because we were shopping and my mom wanted some ice cream. I think they need to be a little more organized when it comes to choosing flavors, I've noticed that some people get confused because the cashier is right in the middle of all the ice cream flavors so you have to walk from the front to the back and back to the front if you are not sure of which flavor to get. The place is not big either, the space between the tables and the cashier is very narrow and that narrow space is where the customers walk in, so if it gets crowded, it might get a little inconvenient. I like their ice creams, my favorite is peppermint bark and coconut pineapple, yum! I don't think they overcharge you to be honest, you're paying for the brand, if you go to the supermarket, you'll Notice that the pint is not cheap. Go to Godiva and you'll pay around $8 for a soft serve so it's sort of the same thing when it comes to price. About the service... I have no complaints, the girl was really sweet and patient, I walked in with my mini pooch and she gave me a tiny cup of vanilla frozen yogurt for him, I thought that was very nice of her. The three stars are more for the service and of course the ice cream, it was great... This is a review I am writing after giving this location two chances. On the first visit, the indoor AC was not working. I wanted an affogato. I asked how the affogato was made (typically made with a shot of espresso and scoop of ice cream). I was told it was made the traditional way listed above, but was handed a cup of coffee with a small hint of ice cream in it.... when I asked for it to be made again, I was abruptly told this is what I asked for. I clarified that I did not order a medium coffee with a scoop of some ice cream. Piping hot coffee. In a heatwave... it didn't make sense I chose to pay for something I didn't order in effort to not be that customer that makes a scene. I figured the heat in the location and the long day was a lot to handle. Today, I tried to keep it simple. I asked for a mixed cone. I was handed a cone that was literally falling off and was advised to get a cup. It was clearly not made properly. When I asked for another cone to be made, I was told it wasn't possible "no". My husband asked for a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. The cashier and him both clarified the traditional chocolate cookie and he was handed a double chocolate cookie sandwich. Something completely different. It happens, but to be so rude when it does. Beyond me. By this point my husband and I couldn't handle our laughter at our own fault in returning to this establishment with employees that choose to haphazardly make orders and refuse to cater to the customer in anyway. My experience: - I call to make an order for pickup; I am treated like it is a weird request - I am put on hold (background noise was audible) - The server (a rather rude teenaged girl) says "it's that stupid guy that always calls and orders.. I can't.." (I've placed exactly one phone order before and I tipped.. well) - Conversation and giggles back and forth follow - Someone different picks up the phone; I have to repeat my order and she accepts - I arrive at the store to a very long line; guess my phone order was a good idea - I notice the girls behind the counter pointing and giggling at me - I ask and am told that I need to wait on the line of people who haven't placed orders yet; a bit silly, but I do so without complaint - I pay for my order and am told "we can't keep doing this, my boss doesn't like it" -- awkward - I leave the store and call Cold Stone and confirm that they offer both phone and online orders -- not such a weird request after all - I call Haagen Dazs to ask for a manager and am hung up on immediately before I even say anything - I redial and ask for a manager.. just to be interrupted with "is this the guy with the shake" before I politely ask 3 times for a manager.. I get a "manager" (she sounded like she was 14 years old) and I explain to her that it's 2016, their competitors offer takeout service and my experience was unnecessarily unpleasant My suggestions: 1. Hire at least one adult to supervise the fleet of children you have working for you 2. It is 2016 and your service is behind. I generally love Haagen dazs ice cream and I'm a loyal member of the rewards program, so I have earned a free mini cone and the lady already had scooped it. As I was ready to redeem, it Went back and forth trying to scan the code about 5-10 min. Ice cream already melting away. Turns out their system was down. No apologies. Manager Didn't acknowledge my coupon. Said sorry to me "next time" . So I said is this my fault? Answer: no. Its "the systems fault" . I just decided to tell him to forget it. Open on Sundays! Which is not true for the shops in this mall strip. I had a coffee ice cream in a plain waffle cone and it's simplicity was divine. For one scoop he changed us $5 (vanilla ice cream) and he charged $0.70 for the cone.. we asked for some topping, literally he just touched the crunch and for that he changed $0.95 . I go there all the time and there is always a problem. Half the staff doesn't understand their customers. They charge a cheaper price on their app for mobile pickups and in store they charge more. I placed a pickup for a milkshake and the manager refused to give me whipped cream when I requested it on my order and then she tried telling me I had to pay when I already did that online hence that's the point of a mobile order. We like haagen dazs, a lot. But we're so disappointed with this store. We live upstairs in the building so it's like walking to the kitchen for us. We used to go all the time to get milkshakes. Seriously, like 4 times a week and sometimes more. The first few times we ordered milkshakes, it was a bit watery and the consistency was not what a milkshake should be. So we started asking for our milkshakes "extra thick" and it worked. Now they were normal and the proper thickness that you would expect from a milkshake if you ordered one anywhere else. Then one day, they charged us extra (without telling us when we ordered). They said that extra thick means that more ice cream must be used and, for that, they must charge extra. Seriously? So you're gonna charge extra to make a proper milkshake? I explained to him that we have been here more than 50x and order the milkshakes all the time and that it is watery and not a milkshake unless we ask for extra thick. He just stared at us and said the boss said extra charge. That was about 4 months ago and we haven't had a milkshake there since that incident. Very disappointing and not the right way to do business. So much for customer appreciation. read more

I was in Haagen Dazs last Saturday and I have to say i was more then satisfied with my visit. I don't usually write reviews for anything but this time i had to. The three girls who working were attentive and accommodating. The girl who served me was great she was funny, welcoming, and quick! The product tasted amazing, as always, and it looked just like the picture. But what inspired me to write this review is one of the other girls who took there time to help an old blind lady. I was siting in the table write next to theirs. She took the time to sit with the women and explain the ice-cream flavors and other products they had. She was kind and patience and handled the situation really well. And you can tell that the other girls in the back stepped up there game to make sure the store didn't get so crowded. Sincerely i wouldn't have know what to do in that situation because you usually just point at what you want. The service and ice-cream were more then satisfying and I can't wait to go back! read more
