This place is a Dunkin Slayer. Popped in late afternoon for the first time, me and the boy, who's more of a donut aficionado than I am. It's small, basic looking shop. Big display case. Frill-free. Ordered an assorted dozen and the owner generously threw in a bunch of... munchkins. Can I call them munchkins? Donut holes sound kinda dirty... Anyway. We got home, sampled and wow. So fresh, which I totally didn't expect it being later in the day. The munchkins tasted zeppole-like as if if they were just made 10 minutes prior. A dozen frosteds, double chocolate, eclairs later my A1C was blown all to hell... read more

Classic donuts, reasonably priced, and the sweetest owners. What's not to like?! This no frills shop is a local hidden gem. We ordered a variety dozen, which was already fun, and she topped it with a handful of complimentary donut holes! Start your day right with a trip to Donut King! read more

The place looks like an old school donut shop inside and the owners were so incredibly nice! You walk in and it smells like fresh baked goodies. With one bite of their traditional and well executed donuts, this place instantly became a new favorite donut spot for me mainly because of their INCREDIBLE glazed croissant! It's fluffy, it's sweet, it's not like any other donut shops croissant donuts I've had and most importantly it's incredibly fresh! I could eat ten of these in one sitting and not Care! And my opinion isn't the only one I got on these, I brought these donuts to a work event and my coworker said the glazed croissant was absolutely AWESOME! I could not agree more! I got a dozen donuts as well and the owners threw in a bunch of donut holes at no cost which was so nice. I will definitely be frequenting here and you should too! read more

Owner states it's all gluten-free, I do not see any labels that say it's gluten-free anywhere. Aren't you supposed to have certified labels stating that it's gluten-free ?? Place b is clean. But not gluten-free!!!! read more

A friend kept telling me that their donut holes here are so good, so I finally decided to check them out. I mean, how good could donut holes be, right? Turns out, my friend was totally right. The donut holes here were so good! Airy, light, fluffy, and not too heavy and not too sweet! I think we ended up eating at least 2 dozen each. What? They were small! :) This is a very simple, no frills donut shop with some seating. It seems like a lot of people choose to stop by and get everything to go. I have to back and try some of their other donuts, which they were freshly making constantly when I stopped by in the morning. Especially the donut holes had to constantly be replenished. This seems like a local favorite and I saw a few loyal regular customers stopping by and ordering their usual and the lady working knew right away what they wanted. As I also post pictures of their menu, it seems like the latest one is from 2021 and they haven't raised their prices too much despite how inflation is affecting a lot of businesses. You should definitely stop by if you are in the area and grab a few donuts and a lot of donut holes (especially if you have to share with someone else)! read more

These donuts are outstanding! The lady behind the counter was cheerful and friendly - direct and no nonsense. We're here for amazing donuts! The glazed donuts are light, fluffy and not too sweet (really the highest compliment ) The old fashioned donut is light and crispy, with a delicious sugar crust. In a world where there are donut shops on every corner, this Donut King really shines. read more

Great donuts! Especially because they are made from scratch! We loved the croissant- it was unique -light with a glaze. Next, the blueberry donut, and cinnamon twist we would get again. We were a little disappointed with chocolate eclair / Boston Cream- it was a large long sized donut yet the cream filling was very sparse ( like the amount would be proportional to a donut hole size) You were left with so much plain tasting dough with an average chocolate icing on top. I haven't tried any of their other filled donuts and hope they are wayyy more generous with their filling. Overall, I'd give them another try ! read more

Hidden gem, with really good donuts and decent coffee. The donuts are not overly sweet, which makes them really tasty. The owner was very nice and pleasant, he gave a couple of munchkins for free to try, which was nice. Quaint place with plenty of seating. We will definitely be back to try more delicious donuts. read more

Would not recommend!! Short version: poor customer service and a terrible drink (iced caramel latte - yuck!!) Elderly Korean lady working today has a bad attitude, is rude, and should have stayed home if she didn't want to interact with customers. Went for the donuts. Left due to her crappy disposition. If the owners see this, please understand you're in a business that requires a level of attentiveness and commitment to customer service. If you're only interested in making money, try selling stocks. read more

All the donuts were gone before I could snap a pic! They have two options: cake donut options and regular donuts and both have the same toppings. We got their chocolate and strawberry sprinkles, glaze, cookies and cream, and french cruller. They were super light and delicious! The friendly staff member gave me a few free munchkins!! Also, their box is so cute! read more

Fresh, great tasting donuts! Clean eatery and friendly staff. The donuts look like the Dunkin' Donuts variety but instead are homemade, gourmet version. The donut shop isn't in a particularly busy area, but this spot is a true gem. Their donuts are consistently fresh and scrumptious. My favorite is the cinnamon sugar, but they offer a wide variety. The donut holes are equally amazing. They also serve Stumptown coffee, which is fantastic. Since relocating, we haven't found other restaurants/shops that offer it. Food and drink prices are fair, especially considering the quality! read more

I honestly always forget to take pictures when I come here. I'm usually not a sweets person but when I do crave donuts, I come here. The reason why this place is my favorite is because I can't help but eat both their yeast and cake donuts... It's usually just yeast for me at other places. Their glazed croissant donuts are to die for. I'll have one and make sure I run at least three miles the next day with a weighted vest! Lol Their blueberry cake donuts are light and filling at the same time! I can't choose-- just try all of them! And if you really feel bad about indulging, try their glazed donut holes. Just one bite will get you hooked! read more

Great little local donut boutique. Many seem to be popping up all over Bergen County and so I wasn't in a rush to try this place out. Finally got the chance to during quarantine (was able to just walk in and get what I wanted easily) and it did not disappoint. I specifically came for the croissant donuts (their response to the famed cronut) and it is seriously the best knock off I have ever had. Donut King took their own spin on the famed Dominique Ansel cronut and instead of making their croissant donut shaped and then fried and glazed like a donut (like every other place) they kept it in the croissant form, fried it, and then glazed it up. They were so light and airy - think Krispy Kreme, but in croissant donut form. So good! I heard that they sell out by the afternoon, so if you're interested, make sure you come in the morning. Definitely a place to stop by if you want good donuts that aren't from a chain store. I am looking forward to trying their other donut styles and flavors! read more

I've been here multiple times for their glazed croissants. They get sold out fast probably because they are so good- soft and lightly glazed I feel less guilty sharing it with my toddler :D Whenever there is a potluck event, I pre-order boxes of the glazed croissants, and they're always a hit. People always ask where they're from! Highly recommend. read more

We love this donut shop. Donuts--made fresh, light and fluffy, so light (lighter than Krispy Kreme) I can probably eat half a dozen donuts in one sitting. It's hard to just stop at two! Coffee, smooth and strong. Highly recommend it. Support local! read more

Don't judge a book by its cover; this spot is a sleeper. The donuts are really light and fluffy while also crisp to the bite. They're also not overly sweet. Tough to find a good yeast donut spot in this area. Good alternative to Glaze Donut New Milford's cake donuts. Highly recommend. I have so far tried the blueberry and the maple eclair and they're both fantastic. Tastes just like those flavors and not too sweet at all. read more

Best donuts in NJ. All hand made donuts. Super fresh. Open 5am - 5pm everyday. Owner moved from Jacksonville Florida. Here is some previous store reviews. Holy donuts! This place is awesome! Literally the glazed donuts and donut holes melt in your mouth. They're light and fluffy, perfectly glazed. The cheese danish is mouth drooling good!! It's a rectangled sized glazed donut with a smooth creamcheese filling. Every bite felt sinful. I haven't tried the apple filled danishes, but I'm told those are delicious too. Thankfully I don't live near this place because I'd be in some serious trouble. read more

Delicious donuts and great selection! I love that the hot chocolate isn't served scalding hot. Great friendly service.

My first impression was to just walk out. We bought a few just to try...... the eclair she filled as ordered. It was fresh, lite and delicate. The glazed was very good, I would even say it was close to a Krispy cream. The chocolate wasn't anything special but it was good. The old fashion was very very good. It was crispy, sweet and greasy and very delicious...... one more factor was the price. 4 doughnuts and a bunch of donut holes was just under $6. These were very good... I'm glad we stopped here read more

Overall: good donut spot if you're around the area Food Glazed covered croissant: croissant was fluffy, glazed part too sweet for me, but if you like sweets it's good Regular croissant: nice and fluffy not too buttery Donut holes: just like the other reviews, they're nice and fluffy and not too sweet Chocolate covered donut with sprinkles; it's ok, didn't like the taste of the chocolate too much and can definitely taste the oil, probably needed to air dry it a little bit longer read more

Actually so delicious! Cheap, fresh, and so good. I heard bad reviews about this place, but thank god I didn't listen. Went in, got just a regular glazed donut to try it out. First of all 89 cents for a bombass donut is 100% worth. So fluffy and light and didn't make me feel gross for eating a donut. Honestly felt like I could have eaten 10 more and would have still bought more. read more

This is hands down best donut shop in Bergen county. Donuts are extremely fresh and made from scratch every single day. This is a no frills kinda place. Let me say that I was never a fan of eating donuts. It was a rarity that I would eat one. But Donut King changed that opinion. This little store deserves great success. read more

It all started one day with a vanilla glazed.. the next time, I bought a box of 7 other flavors & the owner generously threw in a bunch of donut holes that I could not stop eating on the way home.
