Dairy Queen's line at 10pm! Looks like a club

Favorite DQ- Teaneck! I give this DQ 5 stars because the employees are friendly, efficient, makes the best blizzards. They go out of their way to please their customers. They stay open late nights during the summer season, always answer their phone. Even when the lines are super long, they always move fast. They are a Kosher DQ. I hope that they one day they add dairy free ice cream to the menu. I highly recommend this location when you get an urge for something sweet. Thank you for the great service.

This DQ makes great blizzards. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. It's about $6 after taxes for a small here. However, it satisfied my craving for a Blizzard. After having many in Canada, I was very glad to see that they have several locations near where I live. I got the brownie dough one and it definitely did not disappoint. It had a perfect mixture of mix-ins and they were properly distributed throughout the entire cup. These are way better than McFlurries, where the employees don't even mix them. I give this place 4 stars because I took the time to download their app and register for an account, just to be told that this location doesn't accept any coupons at all. They also don't accept mobile orders either, so the app is basically useless here. That is a bummer.

What an amazing blast form the past!! Having not been to a DQ in several years, I forgot how many great choices they offer and how good their blizzards are. The staff at this location are extremely nice and dedicated to providing excellent, speedy customer service. This locations appeared to be very clean and following all Covid guidelines. I'll definitely be back for a butterscotch dipped ice cream cone my next trip to NJ.

I remember coming here as a kid. Not much has changed. Located on the corner of Fort Lee Rd and Teaneck Rd in Teaneck. Dairy Queen takes up most of the northwest corner and it has a large parking area. Employees are mostly high school kids. Service is sometimes ok and its sometimes lacking. Line management isn't the greatest here. It gets pretty crowded during the summer season at night and the lines sometimes move super slow. I usually go to Dairy Queen when I'm craving a soft serve cone, a milkshake, or a blizzard. Lately I've been mostly craving blizzards. I'm a fan of the Oreo cookie blizzard. I also liked the Reese's pieces blizzard, but recently the Reese's pieces candy has been replaced with the Reese's pieces peanut butter cups. One note to Dairy Queen, bring back the Reeses pieces candy for the blizzards.

Not bad. Their icecream is pretty on point but lines can be Long at times. I usually park in the lot and sit in my car to enjoy the icecream. It kinda has a vibe of Ralph Italian ices. I would come back but maybe not in the summer time where the line is ridiculously long.

The parking lot is massive but the employees are as unprofessional as you can get. I don't mind listening to rap but if the music is interfering with the guest experience, then maybe you need to turn the music down or off during peak hours. Every kid that works here is young, like 16 or 17 young, so don't expect much in regards to service. Just make sure you bring your own seat if you want to eat the ice cream there. And be sure to keep an eye on your car as youngsters tend to lean where they're not supposed to. On my last visit here, I purposely peeled out of the parking lot because a kid was leaning on my car while I was in it. He busted his ass. I left happy...

There is always a wait at lunchtime regardless if you want to dine in or take out. I have been a fan of what they do for a long time because you just don't see this type of establishments around anymore. They have certainly stood the test of time. Beef patties, smashed with a lot of grilled finely cut onions, then add pickles, American cheese, and some ketchup, on a soft pillowy Martin's potato bread is a can't miss right? This formula has not changed here for decades. Like I said, I really appreciate the deep history. However, if I'm being honest, I wish the beef quality was better and the cook would add a tad more seasoning. For me, their burger has always tasted slightly bland compared to my favorite burger joints. Yet I still come back. Prices are not what it once was either, but what is? It's still very inexpensive. What I consider a large slider rather than a full size burger is still considered good eats in my book. I certainly would stop by when in the neighborhood if the lines are reasonable.

Every time someone sang its praises, I had to wonder, 'Really? The best fried chicken comes out of THAT space?' Because every time I passed by it, it looked quiet or closed or both. But don't let appearances fool you. It's very, very good. To get straight to it, the wings are the way to go here. I ordered both the wings and the boneless tenders to give this place the old college try, and while the tenders are impressive in size and heft (and I personally like them because I don't have to work around a bone), I found the wings to be far more tender and flavorful. I also found that the tenders were far quicker to lose their fried crunchification. I also tried both the soy garlic and sweet and spicy flavors, and both are incredible. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose one, I'd have to pick the soy garlic, but I love the way these sauces aren't lathered onto each piece. There's just enough brushed on so that you can appreciate both the flavor and the texture of the chicken. The fries here are the wedge type. Think KFC, but fresher and less salty. Also, don't sleep on the pickled veg. I know it sounds nuts to buy pickled veggies from a fried chicken place, but it's a staple for classic Korean fried chicken dinners to cleanse the greasy palate with something acidic. I love the medley of veg they use here, and I loved the pickling juice so much, I actually found myself sipping it between bites (don't judge me). There's a small parking lot on the side of the building that might accommodate three or four cars at most. And that might be by design, because three or four parties is probably the most that could dine in this tiny restaurant. But as many have already shared, the owners here are so sweet and friendly, it's a gift to spend any amount of time with them, even in this teacup-sized dining room. Those who choose to takeout or deliver will be pleased to know that Peck Peck Chicken knows how to to package freshly fried things correctly - that is, with intentionally aerated containers so that you won't lose all that beautiful crisp as the food makes its way home.

ATMOSPHERE (5/5) - Clean, no non-sense vibe that leans utilitarian but hey, you're here for quick bite! 2. FOOD (5/5) - Chicken was juicy, well-seasoned (not too salty!) with right amount of heat (I ordered medium spicy and taste was bolder and better vs. wife's mild which felt a bit bland) and their pickle gave a nice counterbalance. Fries were slightly "old" but full of potato flavor with that peanut oil, and the rice, the RICE in my bowl... together with the mild coleslaw (not too sweet, heavy-sauced, or acidic) was just... making symphony in my mouth. It was seriously delicious... rice... like what?! It had like that subtle halal flavor, gentle bite, and carried sauce well. So while I thought I'd never say this, I enjoyed the rice platter version of the Nashville hot chicken over the sandwich version. Sandwich version was ever so slightly dry in comparison as well. 3. SERVICE (4/5) - Only docking point because it took a bit long (15 min) for this type of food, but my man at the counter was very nice and hooked me up with free soda. He also mentioned royalty program which I misheard as telling me to pick any beverage (wife told me later), which was a nice touch. (Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude!) All in all with leftover to spare for next lunch, this was a surprisingly great meal. I'll definitely be back to try the smashed burgers!
