This is a wonderful ice cream store that opened in our town a while ago. They have about 16-18 flavors and 20 different toppings. There are cones, cups and waffles options available in three sizes. Prices are cheaper than some of the other ice cream parlors. Other than ice cream, they also serve some coffee based drinks. There's a standing table with some stalls and a small table inside the store. Rest of the seating space and tables are in front of the store, by W Madison ave. Wow! The ice cream here is fantastic and has a delightful homemade taste without being overly sweet. I had the Java chip, and my daughter chose the cotton candy. Even though I'm not typically a fan of unconventional flavors, the cotton candy was unique and delicious--I might even get it next time! My Java chip was equally enjoyable. Popped in for Mother's Day and learned this place has only been open for two weeks! What a treat to have such a cute spot in Dumont. They have lots of outdoor seating and a nice variety of ice cream flavors to try. Cool waffle cones too! We had the Java chip- delish! Salted caramel cafe or Java chip -super yummy! The monster something was my absolute fav!! Chunks of peanut butter cup, swirls of chocolate and more-just outstanding! We also had the cherry vanilla and cake ice cream. Honestly all were delicious except for the cake one. It had chunks of 'cake' inside that were not very pleasing for us. It didn't settle well in our tummies (then again, maybe it's because all of the others were just fabulous) Will definitely go back again and again! Great service also! read more

The employees that were working today did a great job. It was just two teenagers and when I walked in it was dead and 2 minutes later they were slammed. People waiting outside and they were just breezing through every customer with care and politeness. The place is kind of small with only one table but plenty of room outside. Ice Cream is delicious. Good variety of flavors. Decor is cute. I would have given 5 stars but the day I went, there was only one person behind the counter. He was a very nice, polite teenager. I waited for a while before placing my order and there had to be at least five more people behind me waiting to be served, and it was close to closing time. You need a minimum of two people to handle that type of volume in a timely fashion, especially during the summer. I thought perhaps it was an isolated incident but a friend of mine was there recently and said he had a similar experience. The young man did the best he could and I admired how he kept his composure. It would be nice to see him getting some help behind that counter. Will visit again. read more

So I understand that 8pm on a Tuesday night is not the most convenient time to have an adult working but having two teenagers on duty who have no idea about ingredients in their ice cream is down right dangerous. My daughter has peanut allergies and specifically asked if the moose track flavor had peanuts in it. They told her no - she bought it and took a bite into a nice size peanut butter cup chunk. She walked back in to ask for another flavor and they had the audacity to tell her they wouldn't charge her. I am writing this review so the owner does a better job at training their workers before someone really has a bad reaction. read more
