So glad I discovered cafe teas is!! unfortunately there's not that many cafes in the area but glad I found a cafe that: 1) is a good study spot (which is actually so rare to find around here! and 2) actually has really good drinks!! Tried the matcha latte and really enjoyed it. The matcha flavor was really present and love the creaminess of it which is just how I like it. Took a sip of my parents lavender latte and OMG I am in love!! One of the tastier drinks I've had in a while. Really love the floral taste of the lavender but it wasn't so overwhelming that it felt like I was drinking soap. It was so good Would definitely be back just for the lavender latte... wait scratch that, I DEFINITELY will be back. Cafe Tesia was a very nice stop for a break. It's located in a small strip mall, adjacent to Kinderkamack Road. The cafe has high stool and table seating and the eatery is clean. The Barista was VERY GOOD. She was the only staff member working and was very proficient. She filled our order in a timely fashion and crafted great beverages. We started with: Iced Brown Sugar Latte. This Latte was deliciously sweet and every ingredient mixed very well to create an ideal drink. The other beverage was the Mocha Latte. Another great Java, where the chocolate drizzle and foam made it a memorable selection. Besides Liquid Gold, I ordered a slice of their Chocolate Marble Cake and it was....AWESOME! Moist, firm, pleasantly sweet, and was a perfect complement to the Brain Juice. Thank you, Cafe Tesia, for making this stop worth the time. I grew up in Riveredge and have seen many stores and restaurants come and go. I believe the last business that was located in this spot, was Blimpie's which I loved very much. This new café though I believe is a nice little fit and it's clean and bright and has very good reviews online and I wanted to test things out. My return back to Riveredge was comfortable and warm on this very cold winter day and I enjoyed my baked goods and my espressos. The service was friendly and Polite. I recommend the chocolate croissants because I ate them too fast without taking a picture of them haha. read more

I visited Cafe Teasia after a meal at the River Edge Diner next door. Cafe Teasia is located in a strip mall and there's ample parking outside; always a plus. There was one other customer seated in the place but it seemed like many patrons were coming in to take their drinks to go. I noticed that each time a customer walked in the staff greeted them very warmly. I ordered a lavender latte and my girlfriend got a matcha latte. Both were excellent. The lavender latte had a good balance of a sweet and floral flavors and it was the perfect temperature for me to sip on. I have this thing where I prefer ordering hot drinks because I have no self-control and will just chug cold drinks immediately when they're served to me. But I enjoyed the lavender latte very much. I also tried my girlfriend's matcha latte and it was super good. She came back from Japan recently and she said she enjoyed Cafe Teasia's matcha just as much as any she had in Japan. A secondary intention of coming to a cafe was to do some vacation planning with my girlfriend and Cafe Teasia was a great place to do so. They have plenty of plugs to charge up your devices. I happened to still be connected to my cell phone's hotspot so I did not need to ask for the WiFi but I'm sure it's more than serviceable. They also played great music for the time we were in the cafe. The staff also checked in on us from time to time while we were seated; very nice of them. They're a bit pricey but what isn't these days? The great drinks, friendly service, and good vibes definitely encourage me to come back to try some of their other stuff. read more

Visiting my hometown and the surrounding areas and stumbled upon Cafe Teasia. I think the towns are doing a great job with new businesses, and even more so - new Asian businesses that are not just clumped together in Fort Lee, Pal Park, etc. My cousin and I ordered two chocolate chip cookies, one red velvet cookie, a mango croffle, an Oreo bubble tea with tapioca balls and a matcha bubble tea with tapioca. It all came out to around $30. Since we came in around closing, I don't think we got the freshest picks. The window says the croffles are made to order, but I believe they just gave us the one from the display. It didn't feel warm and it was soggy to the bite. The cream didn't taste like much and the mango was mushy and almost had a banana taste to it. It was sticky, but I didn't really taste any honey or syrup. With this, I think the biz should implement a percentage off of the freshly baked goods, or at least the display croffles, near closing. I wasn't too hot on their drinks either. The matcha tasted very watered down and the tapioca balls were hard. The space itself is very modern and clean. It's spacious and perfect for a solo study sesh or a group catch up. The man working the counter was vocal, friendly and could command a room. The woman was also kind and soft spoken. Since I now live in the west, where boba and dessert cafes are more common and mastered, I'm a bit of a harsh critic. I would love to try Cafe Teasia in the morning when things are more fresh and there's more time to prepare. Maybe their croffles are better in the morning, or maybe their fruit teas are better than their creamy teas. I'm not sure how new this biz is, but I'm sure with more time they'll perfect their craft. The bubble waffles were delicious but take at least 10 minutes to make, so be patient. My sis had tried the chocchino frappe drink and unfortunately, it tasted like it didn't have any coffee or chocolate flavor. We made a friendly suggestion the register, to maybe add more scoops for future customers because it was flavorless for our drink. A modern and cozy local Asian cafe in Bergen! Loved the vibes of the cafe - you can definitely work or study here, there are even outlets on the wall. I ordered a lavender latte (loved the tea options here!) Surprisingly, it didn't have an artificial flavor and it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet or perfume-y - I would come back here just to get that drink! First visit and I will return because I want to see if there is improvement from my comments. First, milk tea was perfect. My taste buds were happy it wasn't overly sweet. My lack of better rating is from the baked goods. I ordered a blueberry scone. It was not fresh, overly dry and lacked the blueberries. (See pic). I've been here several times with and without my kids and it's just lovely. It is reasonably priced and made to order. The drinks are delicious although honeydew was listed under fruity and creamy, so I thought you could get it creamy or like a clear fruity refresher, but it is only creamy. Delicious regardless. The croffles are amazing and the bingsu is delicious and customizable as well, but be aware it is large and pricier, so sharing is recommended. This is my newest favorite thing about River Edge. We love the bubble waffles and teas! They have coffee too but we don't drink that so can't tell you how it is but the tea is first class! The bakery case is good but the made-to-order bubble waffles are our all time favorite! The little place is cozy enough for a nice afternoon cuppa and chat with a friend. No soft fluffy seating, but an overall nice atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I wish they would offer a few savory items, maybe panini. Often the kids want a sweet treat and I'd prefer a light lunch. That about the only thing lacking. read more
