Vanilla square croissant and Nutella pound cake
    Christine B.

Cute new café alert! Discovered this café near me and so glad I did as I already know I'll be here a lot. This café offers a lot of delicious drinks and yummy pastries. And the staff are nice and very knowledgeable/helpful. As one of the employees was helping me decide what I should get, they told me the pastry chef that makes all of the pastries is trained in France and comes up with new pastries often- which means there is always something new to try out and more reason to keep coming back!   I got a pumpkin chai (which was so creamy and soothing) and tried out their vanilla square croissant and a slide of their hazelnut pound cake. My fav was the vanilla square croissant- first of all, having the croissant shaped like a cube is so much fun and love that you can get so much filling inside of it. I was sad they didn't have any of their Nutella square croissants left which is apparently their best seller, but that means I will have to come back to try it out.   In addition to the food, I love the nature-y aesthetic of the place. The vibes are so cozy and homey with all of the wood details, plants, and books scattered around. I can see myself coming here to do work or coming here with friends to catch up.   In case it wasn't obvious enough, I am a big fan of this café and think you all could be too if you come here!

0 out of 5 stars…read more What should have been a simple brunch turned into a frustrating, drawn-out experience from start to finish. We were initially told the wait would be 25 minutes -- totally reasonable. But after receiving a text 15 minutes later saying we were next, we returned only to be told the kitchen was backed up and it would be another 15 minutes. Then came multiple conflicting texts, including one saying we were being removed from the waitlist for not responding... while we were literally standing there. We were finally seated about 20 minutes after that. It only got worse. It took 40 minutes for food to arrive, and even then, my daughter was served first while my husband and I waited another 15 minutes for ours. The food itself was incredibly disappointing: "poached" eggs that were basically hard-boiled, burnt toast, burnt sausage, and scrambled eggs that came out as a firm, molded mound instead of anything soft or freshly made. To top it off, the entire restaurant felt chaotic. We heard multiple crashes from the kitchen, servers openly complaining, and even staff encouraging the host not to walk out mid-shift. Meanwhile, takeout and delivery orders were flying out while dine-in customers sat waiting for long stretches. Overall, disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the time or money. We won't be returning.

Tried the matcha latte and really enjoyed it. The matcha flavor was really present and love the creaminess of it which is just how I like it. Took a sip of my parents lavender latte and OMG I am in love!! One of the tastier drinks I've had in a while. Really love the floral taste of the lavender but it wasn't so overwhelming that it felt like I was drinking soap. It was so good Would definitely be back just for the lavender latte... wait scratch that, I DEFINITELY will be back. And this time I don't want to share lol And I'm also excited to try out their other drinks cause they had a lot of unique and interesting offerings. Cafe teasia is truly a cafe that I can truly get behind!!

The Barista was VERY GOOD. She was the only staff member working and was very proficient. She filled our order in a timely fashion and crafted great beverages. We started with: Iced Brown Sugar Latte. This Latte was deliciously sweet and every ingredient mixed very well to create an ideal drink. The other beverage was the Mocha Latte. Another great Java, where the chocolate drizzle and foam made it a memorable selection. Besides Liquid Gold, I ordered a slice of their Chocolate Marble Cake and it was....AWESOME! Moist, firm, pleasantly sweet, and was a perfect complement to the Brain Juice. Thank you, Cafe Tesia, for making this stop worth the time. Now, I see why you're Yelp business page has a 4.8 rating, and I'll definitely return.

After a hard-earned 5K, brunch never looked so good…read more My friend and I were more than ready to refuel, so we headed to Turning Point of Paramus for a late brunch. I was honestly surprised that at 2pm on a Sunday there was still a wait for just two people--but that usually says something about a place's popularity. Once seated, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and our server was attentive throughout the meal. The only hiccup was the coffee--it took a bit longer than expected to arrive, which felt extra noticeable since we were craving a caffeine boost post-race. That said, the Marshmallow World cold brew was worth the wait and hit the spot perfectly. Food-wise, no complaints. I ordered The Goat omelet, which paired really nicely with the cold brew. I especially appreciated that they offer gluten-free bread--always a win when places make that effort, and it didn't feel like an afterthought. Parking is plentiful, which is a big plus for this area. Just a heads up: depending on traffic, getting on and off Route 4 can be a little tricky. The only downside? They close at 3pm, so our post-run brunch felt a little rushed--we definitely would've lingered longer if time allowed . A winning post-5k brunch that makes the early miles totally worth it.

For my main meal I had the grass fed burger with sweet potato chips - it was so delicious! Not heavy at all but satisfying and filling. I also ordered the Bright Eyes refresher and loved it. For dessert, we tried the cookie à la mode but I was not a fan of it, it was just okay in my opinion, not as good as the food itself. Service was incredible. Andrew was friendly, informative and just overall a pleasure to have serve us our meal. He truly took this first experience to the next level with his professionalism and positive vibes. Thanks so much Andrew!

I found this place on Google and it had great reviews so I figured I would try it. It took me a while to find it--since it is literally in the basement of an office building-you would not know it is here, besides a small sign outside. I also had difficulty in figuring out where to park, since most of the parking says reserved, there are some guest spots however--across the way from the cafe. The cafe is located behind in the building in the basement-it is PERFECT! Such a chill vibe-with a small vinyl room where you can buy and peruse records. The staff was SUPER friendly and nice--all the types of coffee drinks and tea's you would want. If I lived closer or have more meetings in the area, this would be my go to spot on the daily. They are open until 6P during the week as well, which is really nice. So if you find this on Yelp or a review on Google--yes it is legit and YES you will not be disappointed.
