    Beef empanadas & vanilla matcha
    Lorri D.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the arepa that was stuffed with honey ham cheese arugula guacamole and the flavors were so fresh and well put together! The arepa was fresh and crisp! The person I went with had the pace setter sandwich and spoke praises of it! We later found out the chipotle mayo is made in house. The coffee and vanilla matcha were high-quality and stand out amongst other cafes. The hot sauce that comes with the empanadas is made fresh in house as well. The space itself is vibrant and spacious, great sunlight, seating, and music. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and outgoing. This is a new neighborhood gem you must try! Added bonus is the free parking in the lot in the back! I also took home some desserts ;) will be back soon !

Avocado Toast with feta & Chai Latte

My first time here and this spot did not disappoint. Let me start by saying that this Cafe was highly recommended by more than a few people I know. Not only is the ambience gorgeous, but the service is impeccable. We even chatted with one of the owners while we were ordering. So a few things to know... there is street parking out front but also in the back, and they have a door that you can come through if you park in the back. I heard it gets crowded on the weekends but I promise it's worth the hype. They are having their grand opening on March 28th and it looks like it's going to be a whole party. They have a bakery section, their almond croissant is delicious. I had the avocado toast with feta and my friend ordered their panini style ham sandwich with hot honey and chipotle mayo. I took a bite and will be ordering that the next time. The cafe is much bigger inside than it looks. Plenty of comfy seating. Go check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I used to come to the previous place just for cappuccinos, but this was my first time trying Café WKND. My husband and I stopped by late Saturday morning, and it was packed! The space is surprisingly large with plenty of seating--great for dates, friends, or families. We waited about 15 minutes around 10:30 AM, which wasn't bad at all for a busy weekend. We ordered pancakes, cappuccinos, and a few sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pancakes look small but are very filling. We even took leftovers home, and our son devoured them. Can't wait to return!

Ladies and gentlemen, I found a G.E.M. in Cresskill, NJ! Cafe Weekend, previously Cafe Rx, will…read moremake an impact, the moment that you enter. It has high ceilings, plenty of tables, bright lighting, a quiet ambiance, gorgeous decorations, meticulous restrooms, exemplary service, and amazing food/beverages. First of all, the menu has photos, down to every single item when creating your own Omelette. Also, we were given water immediately upon being escorted to our table (those two items alone is starting my review at 4 Yelp stars). Lastly, Andrew was an outstanding Server. He explained our many questions and gave much appreciated recommendations. Their entire staff tended to us with such great care and professionalism. I noticed, that there is no hurry for customers to finish their orders at their tables. Some were doing schoolwork, some were on laptops, and others were conversing for the entire duration that we were there. My beverage was the "Weekend Iced Latte." Not only was it deliciously sweet, but it came with a hard plastic stirrer, which made it much easier to mix the ingredients and not use the straw. I have never seen this nice touch at any other cafe. Much appreciated. The entrees were: Caprese Salad (fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, balsamic pesto dressing, truffle glaze) . This salad was very good. The balsamic glaze added the perfect sweetness to the fresh ingredients and it was filling. The other entree was the Blueberry Pancakes. Not only was I told that these were the best blueberry pancakes they've enjoyed, but maple syrup was not necessary. The house made blueberry compote was enough to enjoy every bite. For dessert, I had the Matcha Basque Cheesecake and it was heavenly. This was my first time enjoying this type of cheesecake and it did not disappoint. The Matcha was not overpowering. Cafe Weekend has won me over and I'll definitely return for future brunches and/or coffee breaks.

You won't be disappointed !!!! Other than this, everything else is ... ok with me hahaha as long as you get me the hummus !!! The Mozzarella sandwich is reasonably priced ($13) and I eat the open sandwich style and finish the other empty half with the hummus. Their dessert is actually really good too. Just that by the time we finish the meal, we are sooooo full and hesitate... Next time !!! The Dubai chocolate cake, Blueberry cake and the mixed berry tart !!!!!

The restaurant was in a train station, but they had painted and decorated it in a way that resembled the inside of a quaint old inn or a doll house. It was very charming! My relatives and I were seated at a comfortable table where we were greeted by our server, who was nice, but seemed a bit inexperienced. For instance, I tried to verify that the "Golden Tea" included milk, as I had assumed it was a turmeric latte. However, when I asked about it, our waitress was unsure and needed to go speak with the coffeeshop counter team up front to confirm. She came back and said that it would just be a cup of tea and that they were unable to put milk in it, though she could give it to me on the side. I found that so odd, but asked for a pitcher of warmed almond milk, so that I could add creaminess to the drink myself. The golden tea arrived with a cinnamon stick and two slices of lemon. It was soothing on its own, but I appreciated it even more when I added the milk. For my lunch, I opted for the Vegan Bowl, which included a base of arugula topped with eggplant, beets, avocado, grape tomatoes, radishes, walnuts, and four baked falafel balls. I asked for the tahini and lemon vinaigrette on the side. Each ingredient was very fresh, and the crispy falafel were some of the best and most flavorful I had ever had. It was a delicious and filling meal. We paid the bill and headed for the exit, which we had to get to by walking past their takeout pastry counter. Every item looked so tantalizing that I simply had to get something to go. I selected a chocolate chip cookie, and I was glad that I did, because it was great! It had crispy edges and a gooey center filled with decadent chocolate chunks. Overall, I thought Cafe Angelique was a perfect spot for lunch, and it offered such a vast and interesting menu that there really was something for everyone.
