It doesn't have to be the weekend to enjoy the fare and ambiance of this cafe. Large open space that looks like a cross between a library and the tea party in Alice in Wonderland feels very warm and cozy. There are plenty of well spaced tables to handle your group or to snuggle up to a conversation. The many offerings include fluffy pancakes and a very savory Toowoomba pasta. The pasta was flavored in a cream sauce with a kick, and mixed with tender shrimps. What a dish! Add a matcha latte to the kind service that is received here, and you'll be transported to bliss.

I had a nice pleasant visit here. The pancakes were delicious! The coffee was very good. Ambiance is nice! Service was slow but overall it was good.

After a doctor's appointment, I walked straight to this place. Since it was a bit chilly outside, I decided to eat inside. This is my first time coming here since it changed ownership, and I really liked everything. From the first bite, I really enjoyed my meal; the coffee was incredibly delicious. I almost finished my entire plate, and it was quite a portion. Lately, I like to eat something sweet after salty meals. I decided to get two macaroons. They were large enough for me. Food was excellent. I thought they used very high-quality ingredients, and everything was freshly made. I ordered : - Croque Madame (egg, ham, bechamel on a sourdough); Arugula salad and home-style potatoes on the side. - Hot Americano coffee - 2 macaroons : one matcha and one chocolate I think the prices are fair. The decor is very cozy. Everything is clean and tidy. It's not too noisy. Today was a Monday; 12 noon in October. The service from all the employees was beyond excellent; friendly, and not fast paced The truth is, I'll come back and invite my friends or my husband. Thanks to the team for everything. Blessings, and Great job!!!

The service and food are all delicious! I've tried several of the lattes and they were all too sweet for me so I'll probably avoid them next time. As for food, the smoked salmon sandwich was the best I've had and I think about it often. It was so yummy I couldn't wait to try their other items. The pancakes were nice and fluffy but had a slight bitter quality. I loved the crisp texture of them. The turkey bacon was yummy and not too salty. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu! The ambiance is very cute and airy. It's also very relaxed and casual. It's a place where I imagine I'd be able to get work or studying done or just relax and read. All the staff were so nice and polite. They never made me feel rushed. I will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. Thank you, Cafe Weekend!

The ambience and decor is super cute, fresh and inviting - Greece inspire. The space is huge and neatly kept. Located at the border of Cresskill and Tenafly. We got a table to sit down immediately. The parking was easy as well. Coming to food - I think they could do better in terms of that. I ordered shakshuka but it was way too tangy. I know it's usually at tangier side but this was not that great. It was served in a cast iron pan but the dish was hardly hot, forget the cast iron. Service was quick.

I have been here twice and both times it was the same. This place is ok. The food could be better if it was delivered hot. The concept of the menu is great but when the food arrives it tastes like it was warm up in the microwave. Didn't like the pancakes they are very dense not fluffy at all. The plating of the food is very nice and clean but is just not the right temperature. This place is also over priced for breakfast items and delivery of the food.

From the moment we drove into the parking lot to exiting to establishment, Cafe Weekend, blew us away. Fast service, friendly and excellent staff, and beautiful interior! This new brunch spot is a MUST TRY and a MUST GO AGAIN! My friends and I (group of 4) came here around 3pm on a Saturday. The place had PLENTY of seating and they sat us in a beautiful part of the establishment where there were aesthetic blue doors and trees with hanging vines great for taking pictures. However my friends refused to pose hurumph! Immediately, one of the waiters put water on the table. Didn't even need to ask! FOOD ORDERED: *BTW all served with roasted potatoes and arugula salad which was made to perfection* Caprese Sandwich: 2 of my friends ordered this and they LOVED it. One of them actually traveled to Italy and frequently ordered this sandwich at Italy. She states this is better than Italy. So much flavor! Toowoomba Panini: this was mine and wow, I've never tasted anything like it. My friend tried and said the same thing. Really didn't know what to expect in flavor and for sure never had Toowoomba sauce but when googling it, it sounded pretty darn delicious! It is a heavy cream based sauce for my lactose intolerant pals out there but those willing to take the risk - it is worth it! Bread was toasted to perfection and it wasn't bread that cut the top of your mouth. The shrimp was soft and easy to chew and everything together really complimented each other. Drop the Egg - my friend states she likes the bread, likes the egg, likes the bacon, likes the arugula, and likes the potatoes. No complaints! Solid choice DRINKS: Grapefruitade - loved it. Refreshing and is carbonated! Honey Citronnade- mine and so refreshing. There are little citrons on the bottom if you're not familiar with honey citron tea. This was carbonated as well which I wasn't opposed to! Pink Lemonade - delicious! However I did hear one of my friends say it's very sweet. Another carbonated drink! Matcha Latte - my friend said she loves it because they do not flake out on the matcha! You really feel the kick of energy from it. We will be back and I'm coming for the shakshuka. Shoutout to the excellent and attentive staff!

Disappointing food and service. I liked it more when it was Cafe Rx. I sat outside and was attended to fairly quickly. Everything went down hill after that. Drinks took awhile to come out. My iced matcha was okay, but nothing to be excited for. Food portions are large, if you like leftovers. The taste was bland, and the pancakes fell short for me. The home fries were large chunks, poorly seasoned. No one checked in on us during our meal, not once. Parking in the side and back. I would not recommend this spot.

A nice, inviting breakfast cafe with a ton of natural light. Food & coffee are good and the prices are reasonable. Staff are welcoming & the service is prompt and friendly. Would certainly recommend stopping here.

Tried this coffee shop for a brunch and we were very satisfied with our meal. The coffee shop is very nice and spacious. Feels like they were going for a Greek vibe. It did not disappoint. The food was very good and the coffee and drinks were delicious. The service was good, but I'd say it could be a bit better. Nothing too bad but just waited a long time for my latte. I was able to get my food and eat it all before I got my latte. However, they were super upfront about the delay and offered us a free drink for my next visit. I will certainly be coming back.

Plenty parking spots and food was good! Portions are pretty big. Great place to chit chat and chill.

    Iced vanilla latte

I got a griddle sandwich and a vanilla latte. The sandwich was decent but the latte was very sweet and tasted like instant espresso. Im usually not picky but this did not taste like a quality latte. Service was a bit slow and only checked on us when they left the food. My son had pancakes and they didn't bring syrup. Unfortunately not what I fully expected. The decor is cute though.

The ambiance was absolutely my type of place! I would eat here legit everyday bc it's bright, clean, lots of life inside and overall nice. The food was delish! The pictures speak for itself. The service was very attentive and always came to refill waters which I always appreciate. They even helped me pick what to order. definitely get the panini ! But also everything I'd get again tbh. The hot cocoa was AMAZING

You won't be disappointed !!!! Other than this, everything else is ... ok with me hahaha as long as you get me the hummus !!! The Mozzarella sandwich is reasonably priced ($13) and I eat the open sandwich style and finish the other empty half with the hummus. Their dessert is actually really good too. I had been to Cafe Angelique's Manhattan location a few times many years ago, so I was intrigued to…read moresee that they also had a spot in New Jersey. The restaurant was in a train station, but they had painted and decorated it in a way that resembled the inside of a quaint old inn or a doll house. It was very charming! My relatives and I were seated at a comfortable table where we were greeted by our server, who was nice, but seemed a bit inexperienced. For instance, I tried to verify that the "Golden Tea" included milk, as I had assumed it was a turmeric latte. However, when I asked about it, our waitress was unsure and needed to go speak with the coffeeshop counter team up front to confirm. She came back and said that it would just be a cup of tea and that they were unable to put milk in it, though she could give it to me on the side. I found that so odd, but asked for a pitcher of warmed almond milk, so that I could add creaminess to the drink myself. The golden tea arrived with a cinnamon stick and two slices of lemon. It was soothing on its own, but I appreciated it even more when I added the milk. For my lunch, I opted for the Vegan Bowl, which included a base of arugula topped with eggplant, beets, avocado, grape tomatoes, radishes, walnuts, and four baked falafel balls. I asked for the tahini and lemon vinaigrette on the side. Each ingredient was very fresh, and the crispy falafel were some of the best and most flavorful I had ever had. It was a delicious and filling meal. We paid the bill and headed for the exit, which we had to get to by walking past their takeout pastry counter. Every item looked so tantalizing that I simply had to get something to go. I selected a chocolate chip cookie, and I was glad that I did, because it was great! It had crispy edges and a gooey center filled with decadent chocolate chunks. Overall, I thought Cafe Angelique was a perfect spot for lunch, and it offered such a vast and interesting menu that there really was something for everyone.
