I am so glad to have finally dined at the highly recommended Café Angelique. Transformed from a train station, this cafe provides multiple ways to enjoy your meal (high-top outdoor seating, indoor, and outdoor tables, adjacent to the building and railroad tracks). The interior is beautifully decorated with comfortably separated tables. Our Server, Kevin, did a fabulous job with every aspect of our meal and checked on us at perfect intervals. Our beverages were all refreshing, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyed: Large Mochaccino, Large House Coffee, Large Iced Mochaccino. We started with Watermelon and Feta. I enjoyed this item VERY MUCH. The small cubes of feta, served on a separate dish, was appreciated and enhanced the enjoyment of the sweet and salty happiness. Each and every entree was delicious, well seasoned, and served in large portions: Belgian Waffles (Two Belgian Waffles, with bananas, and strawberries). Deluxe Omelette (tomato, mushroom, spinach, peppers, onion, mozzarella, served with multigrain toast, cream cheese butter, jam, and a side salad). Chicken Pesto Sandwich (chicken, pesto, tomato, and arugula on fougasse, with a side salad). Café Angelique will definitely be added to our breakfast/brunch list and you'll definitely enjoy your meal(s), here.

I am unsure why the low reviews my experience was excellent. They make very fresh juices and clean wats! The staff was very helpful and inviting. Had their carrot apple and ginger juice which packed a punch but was perfect. Had their breakfast wrap and added turkey bacon which was the perfect protein addition. Will definable be back.

Lunch at Café Angelique on a random Saturday afternoon was simply delightful. Before the weather got cold, we ate outside under a huge tent with other surrounding tables. Located in the historic part of Tenafly by an old railroad station is Café Angelique. Food was delicious, one of my favorite parts was the big smoothie I ordered. My acai berries smoothie, first time I ever saw a restaurant serve it in a larger cup. Delicious. Service took some time to navigate from checking customers inside the restaurant to outside where we were in the tent. Well worth the wait. Can't wait to go back to try other menu items. All payment accepted, parking is available around the town.

Cute little place that we stumbled upon. It's a good coffee and lunch place. The sit down dining room has full service; the coffee and ice cream section is counter service. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with a good size parking lot. The chicken sandwich was really good.

A nice cafe I come to when I visit home and my folks. Situated in the Historic Tenafly Railway station, the young servers are very friendly with a great attitude. They have a wall up coffee bar with pastries and a sit down cafe I had lunch this time and the vegetarian sandwich (I added Mozzarella) was very nicely done - god whole grain bread, eggplant, zucchini but well cooked (the eggplant being soft the zucchini lightly done to hold its crunch - plus avo and pesto My mom's omelette looked pretty good and she was happy. The prices aren't cheap $45 for two entrees and a cap and a tea, but pretty much on par with 2023...

Lovely spot that is kid friendly, with decent prices. I loved the turkey and swiss croissant sd well as the ricotta toast. Skip the slushy mint lemonade, doesn't have much taste. Staff are super friendly! Try it out

I was in town and decided to try Cafe Angelique for breakfast. They have a lovely seating area outside. The food is alright, nothing to really rave about. The matcha latte was lacking. At least the servers were nice.

This was an old train station converted into a restaurant. The inside is small but doable . They have outside tables which are great for brunch and good weather days. I had pancakes which are deliciously made. I had green juice which is really freshly made and tastes good. Must try if you're in the area.

Visited Cafe Angelique for brunch on a Sunday. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their indoor seating section was Tenafly's former train station, and it still kinda looks like it. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken. My latte was well made, with pretty latte art. The food took awhile to prepare, but my shakshouka was delicious. It was 3 eggs poached in a thick, tangy, and slightly spicy tomato sauce, served with pita bread. I also got feta and sausage to make the dish even heartier. My girlfriend got the mallawach sambusak, which had a nice flaky crust, but we could have honestly just split the hearty shakshouka. Definitely my favorite shakshouka so far.

Tenafly, NJ 07670 French Dip Tater Tots Marshmallow Soft Serve Appearance: 10/10 Taste: 10/10 Located in the Riveredge Row Strip Mall at the intersection of Riveredge Road and Tenafly Road is a locally owned high end sandwich shop. Let's check out the two course meal I explored: French Dip: This signature sandwich was loaded with shaved prime rib, bits of bell peppers and was topped with melted swiss cheese. It was perfectly diagonally sliced on an Italian baguette. The beef was tender and juicy; also included was a savory au jus and a sharp horseradish sauce which both enhanced the flavor. I was more than satisfied down to the very last bite. Tater Tots: The tots make an excellent side to the sandwich. They were crunchy on the outside while soft and pillowy on the inside. The ketchup is a pretty decent, but the garlic aioli wins the dipping contest by a long shot. Marshmallow Soft Serve: To close out the meal, I explored this heavenly dessert. Roasted marshmallow is added to the base of the ice cream. The appearance may be simple and plain Jane, but its rich, smooth, and creamy taste is in a league of its own. As a bonus, a complimentary water cooler with ice and lemon slices is available. If you do not wish to drink water, a variety of cans and bottles are available for purchase. Thank you server Hailey and the cooking crew for preparing a flawless meal. #the130shop #130shoptenafly #frenchdipsandwich #marshmallowsoftserve

We started with the "French Dip" with plenty of au jus. Batting second was a delicious "BaconGrilledCheese" with cheddar & chihuahua cheese and some savory tomato soup for dipping. Joe & I hit up the "1/2. LB Meatball" samich next which was so good that you think that you are at a place that strictly makes meatball parm sandwiches. We tried the "130 Cheeseburger next with bacon lettuce and tomato . This double burger masterpiece is piled high and tasty too. As though there was any room on the table in came the "Buttermilk Fried Chicken" with cherry peppers, coleslaw, pickles and sherry Aïoli. That is no ordinary chicken sandwich. Also in this cruise buffet rivaling feast was a "Chicago Style Hotdog" with the works, perfectly cooked shoestring fries and crispy "tater tots." There was not a bad bite in the bunch. My favorite was the Bacon Grilled Cheese and I think Joe's was the 130 Cheeseburger but he also liked the horseradish sauce that came with the French Dip. Not that we want to disappoint our followers but there were doggy bags involved. The 130 Shop is really cool spot in Tenafly,NJ with a great staff and amazing chef.‍ It's part of a trio of establishments in the area with 130 Club and 130 Social. If you are ever in the area you've got to stop in. It's only a half hour from Yankees Stadium if you want to grab a bite once you are back in NJ. #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBFCertified #BDBF

New Milford?!" - as someone that hits an Italian deli every single weekend I had to make the trek to see what's what. I excitedly walked in first thing on a Saturday morning and my Spidey senses started to tingle that something was amiss. In this long narrow storefront a lot of shelf space was given to... various bags of chips. And there were at least two racks full of... bagged breadcrumbs?! Everything just felt 'off' from all the other Italian delis in surrounding towns so I just got two items (which set me back over $40) and I found it really odd that instead of a secure plastic container for the meatballs and sauce they were put in a foam takeout container instead. (Really?! For something this soggy?!) As for the (overpriced) items I picked up? The meatballs and sauce - very good. The breaded chicken cutlets - extremely disappointing. The two people behind the counter - incredibly friendly. No joke: I immediately took a ride over to Luigi's in Wood-Ridge to get all the other items that Bambino's didn't offer. I'm baffled how this joint 'won' when Bergen County has an abundance of much better places... Michael's Salumeria (Lyndhurst), Annamaria's (East Rutherford), Piccolo's (Ridgefield), Bartolomeo's (Englewood) and, of course, Luigi's - all come to mind. Among the food, loved the beef empanada, was the best item for me. It had ground beef inside, delicious taste. But I didn't the chicken empanada as much. The chicken was shredded and bland. The grilled basa fish was good, two filet cooked well, that came with some lettuce. The chicken lunch platter was surprisingly a big platter, came with 2 pieces of huge chicken leg and potatoes.
