    Eggs Mediterrane

I came here before for the avocado toast and that was amazing but the egg mediterrane?! Shakshukas are one of my fav brunch foods and this one was sooo good.. The menu says that it's spicy (&I was a little worried bc I cant do spice) but this isnt spicy at all so it was perfect. It kind of even has a chili after taste. The best part? The pita...It was stuffed with olives & melted feta Service: The chef and waiter were both super sweet & really cared for whether we liked the dishes or not Ambiance: Antique dark red booth style? Matches the french style vibes

This is a great breakfast or lunch spot. I've been more than a few times and already have "my regular" order. There is street parking available and Indoor or sidewalk seating. Their chai tea latte is to die for along with their salads... that I must say... rival Houston's if you ask me and are WAY cheaper. Go check them out.

I do visit Brasserie @ Tenafly quite frequently, but I must say the menu is very ordinary. The restaurant does have the French theme, but the food is just ok. Again, I've just visited on weekends for brunch, not the dinner or anything. The only thing I do like about Brasserie is that it is quiet and love the booth seating.

Brassiere in Tenafly, NJ. What a lovely lunch I had here the other day. I truly felt like I was in Paris-sitting outside, eating onion soup and enjoying the ambiance. This French American bistro has been serving its local customers for years. The food was delicious and Brassiere serves an amazing burger. I loved the variety of salads, soups and sandwiches on their lunch menu. Bon Appétit! Insta: @thehungrysw Onion Soup Beet Carpaccio French Dip Au Jus Brasserie Burger Tuna Nicoise Salad

Service is always good here. Yes they take their time but it's all worth it for great food. The place is well lit, it's a seat yourself place. BYOB! Which is great. The prices are still the best. Very reasonable. Came here been awhile but still delicious and same people working which is great. We started with the Spinach dip which was delicious. They serve warm bread with olive oil and hummus. The sun dried tomato paste they have with it doesn't do well on the taste buds. Partner got the Short Rib which is amazing. Great texture, perfect amount of sauce and plenty of meat. The steak which is preferred to be medium rare is a staple. Don't over cook it trust me. Comes with some matchstick fries which are so good. Our friend got the capre sandwich which I had back in December which I can tell is always good. All in all about 120.00 for 3 people is really good. Best place to visit. Not typically too busy between 4-6pm. Still plenty of happy customers coming in. Brunch is always great here too! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Went here for brunch and it was a good time. First this place is a BYOB, but there is a liquor store across the street so that works out. Also the staff was accommodating and very nice. Now I had a seared Tuna salad and a Brasserie Cheese burger and both was delicious. Definitely enjoyed myself here and looking forward to coming back here again.

Went for lunch with a friend. Haven't been here in years. She had the chop chop salad and I ordered the Asian chop chop salad. Both were very good. Big portions. We needed to ask for bread and more dressing as well as straws and more water when mine was empty. Our waiter wasn't very friendly or attentive but the delicious food made up for it. I felt like we were bothering him when we tried to get his attention.

Oh, Brasserie! One of my favorites. Same amazing customer service, clean and cozy place, delicious plates! On Sunday, I celebrated my birthday and enjoy Brasserie one more time. This time I did a wide type of pasta with short rib , and it comes on the side with homemade crunchy bread with hummus, extra virgin olive oil, and a kind of jam?!? a bit sweet( nice combination) Thank you guys ,one more time. God bless you.

Ordered wings and a gyro dish--the gyro was excellent, while the wings were tasty but slightly chilly and a bit dry. Not bad, but not the best. That said, I frequently order their salads to go and always enjoy them. The kitchen staff could use some additional training, as a nearby table complained about their order. The younger staff members were very attentive and hardworking--perhaps they just need a bit more guidance. Overall, it's a solid spot in town with plenty of seating and a BYOB option. While I personally prefer the Westwood location for its atmosphere, this one is convenient and charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating and ample parking.

Had an early Valentine's Day dinner with the wife the day before Valentine's Day. Brasserie Memere…read moreis an upscale French restaurant located in the Target plaza of Closter. The lighting is dim, the ambiance is intimate, and it looks romantic. I had made reservations so we were seated immediately. It's funny to note that the place settings were placed next to each other instead of across from each other at a four person table. We usually prefer to face each other, but when it's Valentine's day why not be cute? We ordered a few drinks during our dinner, the Sugar Plum Fairy, Memere 75, Avion en papier. My favorite was definitely the Avion en papier which had a slightly sweet, slightly bitter, citrusy taste. They had a pre fixe menu for Valentine's Day which unfortunately did not have the steak tartare i was interested in trying. But for $88, you get 3 courses: an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For our appetizers, we got the TARTARE DE THON (tuna tartare) and COCKTAIL DE CREVETTES GEANTES (shirmp cocktail). Between the two, i preferred the tuna tartare. The shrimp cocktail was good, but the only thing really special about it was the massive size of the shrimp and the freshly grated horseradish in the cocktail sauce. For our entrees, we got the CASSOULET DE CANARD and FILET MIGNON. The extremely tender duck leg confit was served with pancetta, white beans, toulouse sausage, and foie gras breadcrumb. It was rich, savory, fatty, and filling. All great words to describe food. The duck leg confit reminded me a little bit of a smoked turkey leg with the red coloring and shreddable texture. The filet mignon was served with pomme purée, wild mushrooms, and a bordelaise sauce. The filet was cooked medium rare as requested, but a bit under salted. The pomme purée aka mashed potatoes tasted like it was 50% butter so it was obviously delicious. Dessert was good, but my least favorite part of the meal. We got the TAHITIAN VANILLA CRÈME BRÛLÉE and the VALRHONA CHOCOLAT POT AU CRÈME. Both were very sweet. The brûlée crust did not shatter well, but it otherwise had a nice creamy texture. The chocolate pot was covered in flaky feuilletine which gave a nice contrast to the creamy chocolate, but my wife found the brandied cherries overpowering. The cherries made me think of German chocolate cake. Service was excellent. Staff was quick to refill water and checked on us constantly. Pace of the meal was relaxed and I'd even say they were slow to bring us the check since we had been dining for over 2 hours. My wife wants me to bring her back for their bottomless brunch on a Sunday so I will eventually be back.

So as soon as I walked in, the first thing I got hit by was heat. It was extremely humid there. Within minutes of sitting down I was pretty uncomfortable with the humidity. One section of the café felt a bit cooler, but they didn't have any outlets. I really considered leaving and going to another spot... and an hour later, I did! PLEASE turn on the AC! I ordered an iced matcha latte (~$6) and it was underwhelming. It was powdery, tasteless, and there was way too much milk. It's hard to find a good matcha drink nowadays. Sigh. They do have an extensive food and drink menu. They offer coffee, tea, bubble tea, milkshakes, etc. Their food options are diverse and cater to breakfast (omelets, toast), brunch (sandwiches, salads, paninis), dinner (pasta, rice bowls), and dessert (gelato, pastries). Keep in mind their kitchen closes at 3:40pm (over 3 hours before they actually close???) and they stop making espresso drinks 30 minutes before closing. In my opinion, this café is more of a dine-in spot for a late breakfast or a light lunch. Nothing really stands out to me on their menu that I can't get at other places so I'm not sure if I'd come back. It is beautifully decorated and has a good amount of seating, but it's just not the most comfortable place for me to efficiently do work. I was just really turned off by the lack of AC and my disappointing matcha latte.
