Ordered three bacon egg and cheese on rolls and a side of home fries by phone. The lady was very nice and repeated my order to ensure she got it right. Told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived in less and was quickly tended to. The lady greeted me and rang me up. Handed me the bag and thanked me for ordering. Food was delicious! I forgot what a hidden gem this place is. I've been coming here for years. One of my favorite grease spoon spots. Staff is friendly and prices are cheap. Old skool diner feel. I always sit at the counter. I've had their burgers, egg sandwiches, $3 breakfast special, and some of their lunch specials. My favorite is their pepper steak lunch special. Throw some hot sauce on it, and I'm good to go! I stop here often when I have to make a stop at BoA in Teaneck. It's very homely and nostalgic. Kind of slow but the price is very reasonable and the service is great. I've only tried the breakfast menu so I can't comment about their lunch or dinner items. The grill cook will customize your eggs, homefries or whatever else to your liking without drama which is always nice. A really nice well run family business. They know their eggs and pancakes. Not a fan of their lunch menu (my bad ordering that, it's a breakfast place) but their breakfasts are at an extremely awesome price and they are quite generous with their portions. I can only review Breakfast and Lunch, I had thier eggs and meat special. Now this was not the best breakfast I ever had but it was good. The lunch was really good, cheeseburger platter (old style). The burger was exceptional, not sure where they get thier beef but it reminded me of White Manna down the street in Hackensack. I really enjoyed the cheeseburger. She choose to not follow instructions and when you complain about it when picking up your order she make the paying customer out to be the problem!!!! They over charge for simple breakfast orders and do not stick to the menu price. After ordering the same thing week after week the prices are always different! I ask for a Greek omelette one day but there's no feta cheese but want to charge me for it. I ask for a Greek omelette on another day for my husband requesting to NOT add THE feta cheese that comes with it but to substitute with American cheese because my husband is Highly ALLERGIC and they still added it in addition to the American cheese and double charged me for "Extra Cheese" and being that I checked prior to leaving my husband would have been hospitalized for this negligence!!!! They had the nerve to even argue with me over the importance of my request!!!!!! Really disgusting service!!! I just stop going after that! Just discovered this gem. It's a hole in the wall but the breakfast is enjoyable. Not much seating space due to covid and then using every other table for diners to promote social distancing. I ordered takeout and received my food in great time. Will def order from there again. read more

I was looking at my email and I asked her for a half a cup more and she told me that she has to charge $0.50 for every additional cup of coffee after 2. come on, there's thousands of places to go to in Bergen County for breakfast. there was a guy who walked in and he asked a simple question and they had a whole attitude with the guy. the guy started cursing at the owner who works the grill. he was totally grumpy didn't even say hello to you and had a total bad attitude. it was noon time and nobody was in the place, real bad sign. It doesn't make you feel very comfortable at all and they have a terrible attitude. when I smirked to the lady and saying you charge $0.50 extra for rye bread and $0.50 extra for every cup of coffee after 2. after I gave her a tip, she tells me what do you want for $3! to many places in Bergen County that treat you much nicer, better quality food and for a few more cents you could feel a lot more comfortable eating your breakfast!
