I love Daniela! She's such a nice owner who us relationship proud of her product (as she should be)! She opened about 1.5 years ago, replacing a coldstone (definitely for the better). The tea flavored ice creams are actually brewed for at least 48 hours to get the intense tea flavors she captures in the earl grey and thai tea (among others). This is legit one of my top ice cream shops now - not too sweet and very creamy. The earl grey is my favorite flavor so far! We also bought some coffee oreo as well as a pint of lavender honey (similar in taste to earl grey if you're looking for non caffeinated option). We will be back often (and with a cooler filled with ice)! They also sell ice cream cakes (believe you need 2 day notice at least) and ice cream sandwiches (they have a popular flavors set). (P.S. there was a not-so-welcoming staff when we came back to buy our pint, so we were a bit sad not to see Daniela on our way back home).

So generous with tastes and every flavor is fresh and delicious. They even have options for our fur babies!

Stopped in at Daniela's Ice Cream after dinner for some dessert. It's a small shop, but they have a bathroom and some seating. They have many flavors, and you are allowed to sample up to three. I tried the lavender honey, lemon poppyseed, smores, and coffee Oreo. They're all pretty good! The lemon poppyseed and lavender honey were very refreshing. The coffee Oreo tasted great as an ice cream sandwich. Not a bad place to stop for ice cream.

So yummy. Homemade unique flavors. We had the lemon poppyseed and lavender honey. Street parking, but plenty of spots on a Sunday

My sons favorite ice cream spot, even in the winter. They have an amazing assortment of ice cream flavors. They also have an assortment of cones and toppings. Service is always great! Parking is tricky as the lot is often full, especially right around the time school is over.

High quality store made ice cream!

Just checked out Daniela's for the first time. The shop is bright, modern, and clean. The staff is professional. The list of homemade flavors is impressive. Lots of creative choices. I went with a three scoop cup. Blueberry swirl, apricot pistachio, and peanut butter fudge were all delicious. My daughter enjoyed her vanilla ice cream with sprinkles on a cone. Nice seating outside. Definitely worth a return!

Solid ice-cream joint located in Closter downtown. The facility is modern and clean. Their ice-cream is made in-house and not factory-produced. They have all the usual flavors as well as some uncommon ones, such has ginger and earl grey. Besides ice-cream, you can also get milkshakes, floats, sorbets, and sundaes. I've tried their ice-cream and floats and they were all very good.

Alright, I was waiting a long time to visit Daniela's and it was so worth the wait. My partner and I arrived on a hot Wednesday night and there was a small line ahead of us. Thankfully, we moved along quickly enough and a massive line formed behind us soon after. The store is a decent size, but it can only accommodate a certain amount of people. It seems like they're still gaining their footing, which is to be expected. It was a bit chaotic with them scrambling to take orders, ring them up, etc. I'm sure they'll become super efficient once they have a little more longevity. I loved that their menu marked items that were gluten-free and I didn't have to ask, that was really helpful. We opted for shakes that were delicious and fairly priced for the size. I couldn't even finish mine, but it was incredibly tasty and I can't wait to go back.

    Lemon poppy seed... so good!

Great ice cream, great service, fun flavors! We are obsessed with the Lemon Poppy Seed flavor! If their other flavors and ice cream is just as creamy and flavorful, i'm sure they are all superb. Can't wait to try their other flavors!

Delicious homemade ice cream. Earl Grey and Honey Lavender were rich, creamy and not too sweet.

Owner Sal introduced me a couple of the most popular homemade ice cream flavors and one of his newly crafted signature desserts. Bourbon Pecan: Although the ice cream is made with artificial whiskey, it tastes identical to the real deal. Also mixed in this ice cream are swirls of caramel with pecan bits hidden beneath. Cotton Candy: Initially, I was hesitant to explore this flavor because I would never envision combining a carnival treat with a frozen dessert. As soon as I took my first taste, I instantly realized why this is a hit My only regret is that I didn't purchase an entire pint to go! And speaking of size, when you choose your desired flavor, pick one of the four proportions. Aside from cups, sugar cones, waffle cups or waffle cones are also an option. Sal's Special Brownie Split: If you are planning to explore beyond the ice cream itself, then you may want consider trying one of Sal's desserts that he created. In lieu of three traditional scoops, this specialty sundae has one scoop of brownie s'mores ice cream and two brownie squares; also included is whipped cream, caramel syrup, and a sliced banana. Combining brownie with banana surpassed my taste bud expectations by a long shot Now that you "have the scoop" check out Dumbo ice cream for a variety of homemade flavors. #dumboicecream #dumontnj #bourbonpecan #localbusiness #cottoncandyicecream #salsspecialbrowniesplit #njicecreamshop #icecream #homemadeicecream #madisonave
