Where are the grownups? I've been there perhaps a handful of times before I thought nope - go elsewhere. I'm not going to promote another business, but DQ, no longer for me. The portions are small. The ice cream (is it ice cream or ice milk?) MELTS like immediately. Whether cone or cup, the product drips on your hand(s). Every visit, a kid, usually a kid, not more than one person, behind the counter. Is someone in the back? I don't know. What a horrific experience! After a day of shopping with a friend, we decided we wanted ice cream. I suggested Dairy Queen since I had won a gift card at a recent fundraiser. We went in and ordered 2 sundaes and when I went to pay, I was told that they don't accept gift cards! WHAT??? When I asked why, the girl told me that it was because of a scam and that it was just that location that didn't accept them. Thoroughly annoyed, I paid cash for the sundaes and as we started to walk out, my friend and I had our hands COVERED in melted ice cream!! I mean out of control melting everywhere! I asked the girl for napkins (which we didn't get any to begin with) and she handed me 2! I asked her why it was melting so fast and she said because the caramel and fudge were hot (which neither were HOT). I wound up asking for a larger cup for the 2 sundaes so we could dump the ice cream into it to prevent an even bigger mess and we got the cups along with an attitude ... the girl acted like she was annoyed that we were complaining!! Oh and my friend wound up cleaning the floor from where the ice cream spilled ... WTH?! Never again to this location! 1 star because zero isn't an option read more

Okay so I'm gonna be that person who's pissed that I didn't get my free ice cream today. I'm specifically irritated at this location because it advertises that it takes the coupon to get a free ice cream cone with purchase of another item. You have to download the app to redeem the coupon but I checked and this store is listed as one of the participating locations for the free cone. I walk in and the kid behind the counter just says his manager won't let anyone use the app. Not just today, but in general it's like the store doesn't allow it...even though they literally have a sign posted in the store saying you should download the app to get the coupons??? The cashier was super nice...I kinda felt bad because he said his manager didn't come in that day so he was having to deal with all the upset customers. I called the corporate number they had listed, and no surprise, no one answered. Called a few more times and same thing. I went to McDonald's and got the $1 cone so all was not lost. I see why so many DQs are shutting down around here, really poor management and cheap marketing scams. read more

Worst cake I've ever gotten from a Dairy Queen. The Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard cake is usually my favorite cake, I get it for my birthday pretty much every year and have gotten them for other occasions as well. Anyway, so they made it so haphazardly it wasn't even enjoyable. They left out the crunchies in the middle altogether. It looks like they spread a layer of strawberry, laid a bunch of cheesecake chunks in that and topped it with ice cream. It wasn't blended, and the strawberries/syrup freeze like an ice (much harder than the ice cream) making it impossible to eat with a plastic spoon. Basically it was like eating an unthawed frozen strawberry cheesecake with vanilla ice cream. What a truly undesirable disappointment and waste of money. read more

SeeIf I could give 0 stars, I would.I ordered through Uber eats. I paid 19 dollars with a 10 % discount. I ordered a small and a large OREO blizzard....I always order them the same way.. Coconut is not on the list So, I always PAY for Choco Chunks and say no choco Chunks.. Please substitute coconut. Never seemed to be an issue... Ordered them that way at least 6 times in the last 2 months. Anyway... This time, ABSOLUTELY NO COCONUT. and approximately 1/2 Oreo cookie in the entire blizzard... So basically I paid 19 dollars for a large and a small vanilla ice cream. Shame on them.There was 2 little pieces of cookie on the bottom The person didn't even bother to put it on the mixer...I guess there was no need to if they didn't put anything else in besides ice cream NEVER AGAIN... Come on ladies and gentleman.. it's ice cream! I have been here many times and it's one of the best DQ's in the area compared to the experiences I have had in other stores and other ice cream shops. Everyone is always friendly and the ice cream is FRESH. I have also ordered cakes here for parties and recommended friends to order cakes and everyone has always been happy. Not to sure why there are so many crappy reviews over prices.. if you want more bang for your buck with ice cream.. head to a supermarket, buy what's on sale and have more than one serving. read more

I never write reviews but god damn this place is terrible. I ordered the New York royal cheesecake blizzard and tell me how it came out like a milkshake. At that point I should've just drank it then eat it. And when they made my blizzard they put no cheesecake, it was watery as hell, and they made a puddle at the top with the filling. No lie I thought it was going to overflow because she poured so much at the top. I knew she messed up when she didn't even bother flipping it upside down. I went here this evening. Two young men working the counter. Very courteous. However one of them had to step away to answer the phone a few times. It was customers asking what time the store closed. If you are thinking of ordering here through GrubHub or Uber Eats you may want to pass... I've ordered delivery 3 times and it is screwed up every single time. First order I went with one of their specialty Blizzard's and they didn't include the chocolate sauce, that was listed in the included toppings, so it came with plain vanilla ice cream instead of the ice cream being chocolate flavored from the topping. Annoying but mistakes happen... Yesterday ordered again 40 minutes before they closed. Got order confirmation, waited 40 minutes, and had a GrubHub driver waiting there and they cancelled the order because they were "closed". Don't know why but I decided to try again today. This time I paid extra for extra chocolate sauce to be added so I would be sure to end up with the chocolate base I wanted. It arrives and again no chocolate sauce mixed in! So not only did I not get what I wanted, but I paid extra for absolutely nothing. Judging from reading other reviews this seems to be more a trend than rare mistakes. The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because they got my husband's order correct today and I have no experience with actually going there and ordering in person. This is our local DQ and we love going there for some Ice cream & then driving over to Teterboro with the kids to watch the airplanes. It's a tradition we've started with our kids, and love having a DQ around the corner. Recently we were there & our potty training two year old had to use the bathroom. Omg I have never seen such a disgusting, dirty bathroom at an eating establishment. It felt like I had walked into a truck stop (grew up around truck drivers, I've been to plenty) I was so disappointed. The only reason I don't give this a lower rating is because I truly enjoy their ice cream & I know it's owned by a local family who is often there. As a repeat customer, I hope the owners look into having their bathroom cleaned. If they wouldn't let their boys use that bathroom, they shouldn't expect us customers to let our kids use it. Again this could've been a one time off thing, and I will continue going because the ice cream is good. Just disappointed that a family oriented place wouldn't think to have a clean bathroom for its clients. read more

You ready for this? So my wife and I are by the in-laws (her parents). We decide to grab some ice cream after dinner. Some say this place closes at 10pm, others said they are open a little later for summer hours. We decided to call them first to find out... No one answered the phone but the answering machine came on with the following message. "Sorry we are unable to answer the phone. We are busy assisting customers" It then goes on and explains their SUMMER HOURS. Mon-Thurs open till 10pm, but Fri-Sun open till 11pm. My pregnant wife is killing me... "Honey I want ice cream." No problem baby... We take the short drive there with some friends. We get to the door at about 1010-1015pm... doors are locked, but all the lights are on. Bunch of people inside, non who want to acknowledge the fact that we're trying to come in. Finally, 2 guys are about to leave the store and approach the door. Maybe they were getting off or something... or in this case, leaving work early. Before I can say anything, this asian fellow with a birthmark on his face tells me we're closed. I look at him and say, what about the summer hours? To which he just kept walking with his friend like they were too cool for me. So the young girl that was now locking the door behind them said, we close at 9pm, and the summer hours are till 10pm. So I said, "Listen... I just called your place. Your machine came on and specifically said, you guys close at 10pm during the week, but with the summer hours, you close at 11pm on the weekends." I then told her, if that's not the case, you really need to change your machine. We took a ride here for nothing." She then looked at me like she knew she was busted and said, "I'm really sorry." Once we got waited on the lady who helped us (who owned the specific store) was very rude towards us and would not allow us to use our official Dairy Queen coupons and said they would not be allowed. AVOID!!!! Probably the worst DQ I have ever visited. I honestly don't see how they stay in business! I was in the mood for a dipped cone, something I have not had in a while. Boy was I disappointed!!! I think the prices are higher at this location. I ended up with just a plain soft serve cone( after seeing the price of a dipped cone I felt it wasn't worth it). This pathetic small cone was more suitable for a child!! I shouldn't have been so surprised as they are very stingy with the ingredients in the blizzards too! The Blizzards are so terrible....its almost half the usual amount of candy compared to other Dairy Queens in the area.
