Dessert 4.5/5 Service 3/5 Ambiance 3/5 Value 3/5 My fave bingsoo in the area!! They have the most micro ice texture that is super fluffy in your mouth Ofc with everything they increased their price again. The large is now $19.50 Large is good to feed 4-5 people while the cup is good for 2-3 This time I got the mango cheesecake and enjoyed that the mango they use is the red/ green mango which is more known to be on the sour side

Remarkable dessert! We opted for the mango. Everything was perfectly layered and wonderful for sharing. Fruit was fresh and I felt like everything was crafted with care. It was so nice to see groups of five or six enjoying a dessert together. *The only reason I am not giving five stars is because they use styrofoam bowls and this is horrible for the environment. I know it helps keep the ice cold but it really is disappointing to see. Please consider alternate options*

Stopped here after lunch for the strawberry and green tea bingsoo. It was tasty though I wish it had more condensed milk. There are 2 sizes available - cup and bowl - which is nice if you want a small portion. This cafe had loads of other menu options as well like coffee and cookies with real fun flavors like matcha pistachio. Sadly, we were too full after lunch so we were unable to try other items.

Our favorite Bingsu place. My go to favorite is the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu. The perfect combination of the icecream, mochi, shaved ice, mango bits, mango syrup and cornflakes. Café Leah has a variety of desserts. Settled on broad avenue, it is often busy but in a good way. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating when the weather is warmer. Service is a little debatable. Sometimes we walk in, there's no welcome and some of the ladies behind the counter can be off putting. It's noticeable - I'm not here for you, just desserts. All payments are accepted. Parking is available along the street, look out for signs. Until next time on the Mango cheesecake Bingsu.

I came here for a quick stop and it's a good, casual cafe! They offer bingsu here, coffee, and lots of different pastries. I got to try their Dubai cookie, and loved it. Definitely very sweet and heavy, but it's a good treat if you're looking for something decadent!

Another place for delicious cold dessert during warm days. They have many different flavors, and 2 sizes: cup or bowl, which I think is nice. I like this tiramisu one because the coffee helps balance the sweetness.

Dropped by for a quick post dinner sweet treat! Most of the bingsoo was at the top with bits of tiramisu at the bottom. It also comes with a price of cake at the top. I found the cup to be the perfect size to share between two people. Came here on a Sunday night before closing to find it a bit crowded but not too loud. Service is average.

Best bingsoo ever! I've been thinking about this for over a year. It is pretty expensive about $20 for a bowl and $12 for a cup but it can be split for 2-4 people, it was a lot for just 2 people. Not too sweet and perfectly balanced with the toppings. I will come back again. It came out pretty fast but there is limited seating.

We were headed to another spot down the street, but it was unexpectedly closed for renovations. Luckily, we stumbled upon Cafe Leah--and we're so glad we did! I tried the matcha cookie (just okay), but the real standout was the mango cheesecake bingsoo. It was a delicious mix of shaved ice, condensed milk, fresh mango, and cake pieces--a perfect balance of sweet and refreshing. They even gave us extra condensed milk, but it was sweet enough as is. Such a nice treat to end the night!

One of my favorites korean cafe. Great coffee and wide selection of tasty desserts . Im a sucker for matcha and their Bingsoo matcha and latte are my favorite. It can get pretty busy on the weekends and after 5PM, so chose othe time if you want to aviid the crowd.

One of the better Bingsu spots I've been to. The place is quite small and gets busy. They have a lot of options that all looks so tasty. The big bowl is a great size for two people. I definitely enjoy the quality of the ice as well as the toppings. Not many other places put mochi in there Bingsu which was nice to see here. I wish there was more condensed milk and syrup on my bingsu. I highly recommend this place would come back.

Mango & Cheesecake Bingsoo Bowl (~$18)

Ordered: Mango & Cheesecake Bingsoo Bowl (~$18) Aya's take: We stopped by for a quick dessert as this is one of the only places in the area that has Bingsoo. We were hesitant about ordering the Mango & Cheesecake one since it's not mango season but the workers assured us that the mangoes were sweet. The bowl is massive and can definitely feed 3-4 people. For 1-2 people, I think the cup is sufficient. Cafe Leah missed the mark on this, in my opinion. Not only was the mango not sweet (like they assured us it was), but it also completely lacked any distinct flavors aside from being sweet. The cheesecake bites didn't add anything for me while the ice cream and condensed milk on the side made the Bingsoo palpable. They also have a Yelp check-in offer which they didn't honor; I would suggest they remove it instead of having this awkward conversation with customers every time. I wouldn't come back.

While deciding on what to order, the owner offered to make me a drink that was off the menu. How about a mixed one with strawberry, Matcha and coconut? Hey, if the boss is recommending it I'm all for it. My son got the ube and coconut. OMG, both drinks were so darn yummy. I am not an ube fan whatsoever, but my son insisted I take a sip. I have to say it was the best ube drink I have ever tried. The coconut mixed with the strawberry and matcha is a game changer. The teddy bear made of ice was so cute and makes for a cool IG pic. The owner was sweet enough to ask if we liked it. I gave her the thumbs up and said they were excellent and that we will be back. Oddly they also serve pho here, it's not a restaurant per se. We didn't have any so I can't comment. But definitely come for these yummy Vietnamese concoctions. Street meter parking only.

Imagine our delight when we found this place on Yelp. This is huge for coffee lovers. Most of their beans are single-origin, and while some may be a little nervous that it's next to a gas station, rest assured, it will be one of the best coffees you will ever enjoy. Bold statement, but a true statement. Seating is very limited. One side has four seats at a long bench table, while the other side offers two seats. There was also a table with a few chairs outside. This place has espresso drinks, coffee, a limited tea selection (tea bags, not loose leaf), banana bread, croissants, and other various baked items. We had a buttery croissant and banana bread -- both were heated up and outstanding!! The coffee beans are roasted in-house, and they also offer coffee on tap. It turns out they have several locations, and they all roast their own beans on-site. You can also purchase beans to grind at home, should you choose. Parking is tight but free. They do have a bathroom if you need to use it, and the baristas who work there are all experts at making coffee. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and are great to chat with about their beans when the place is at a rare slow time. They are dedicated to their craft. Anytime we are nearby, this will be the only place we will be stopping for a supreme cup of java. My biggest regret: not purchasing a bag to take home. The Roast'd Legender is calling out to me.

Here is what we ordered: - Einspänner: 3.5/5 stars. An upscaled version of an Americano with cream - Deep Black Latte: 3.5/5 stars. Also, a single-shot based drink. Would have preferred a second shot of espresso for a more balanced flavor. The cacao notes are prevalent. - Blooming London: 3.5/5 stars. One shot of espresso with exceptionally thick foam. The vanilla syrup was overwhelming, and the taste of the Earl Grey in the cream was underwhelming. - Chocolate chip cookie: 3/5 stars. Pretty average - Madeleine: 3/5 stars. I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). This dish is succulent, creamy, pleasantly spicy, and thoroughly enjoyed. I'll never dine at Mavi's without ordering a Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, mushroom, bulgogi beef, kimchi, scallion, spicy mayo drizzle). I was excited to finally order dinner after hearing good things, but my husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.
