The bakery looks beautiful, cozy, and well maintained, so my first impression was excellent. Unfortunately, the sweets were extremely sugary, and the sugar completely overpowered the other flavors. They reminded me of inexpensive supermarket pastries, but at a much higher price. Russian-speaking customers expecting a more balanced taste may be disappointed. Always a home run in taste, last 3 years I have bought my Christmas cakes and pastries from Daisy's. Everyone gets excited when they see the white box with the Daisy label. Decorated beautifully and tasted just as good. Also ordered custom cake for my daughter's 16th birthday/confirmation and both turned out amazing. Wrote a previous review. Would have given a zero if I could. First time in bakery and have never had such a rude, despicable owner with a serious attitude problem. Do yourself a favor and read all the awful reviews about "Irena" all saying the same thing. She is rude, disrespectful and definitely needs an attitude adjustment. So many negative reviews due to her insulting attitude. I walked out after 5 minutes. A minute later the other gentleman walked out also. She's been open for only two years, but I can't see her staying much longer with her rudeness. I wanted to try this bakery out as I am a lover of fresh organic baked goods. I ordered the cheese danish and the cranberry scone. The danish was half of my palm in size and tasted just ok. I come from eating amazing cheese danishes all my life in the best bakeries in NYC so I knew my standard would be high but it was so small yet was well baked and the cheese was tasty. I was however heartbroken by the cranberry scone which are my favorites and I must have eaten scones In over a 1000 bakeries in my lifetime and this scone was just not tasty. The cranberries when I bit into one tasted like it was rehydrated and had no juice whatsoever and the scone was bitter and all I could think of was orange extract added? I couldn't figure why it was so bitter but I immediately had to put it down and wash it out with my latte. I was hoping to be able to give this bakery a good rating considering it is organic but it didn't meet my experience with organic pastries. Also one thing I was happy about. The baker complained about having to pay interest fees on credit cards and insisted on cash payment even though I offered to give her a debit card. read more

This is hands down the best bakery I've ever visited. The service is always friendly and efficient. My husband is practically addicted to their amazing vanilla eclairs. The custard inside the eclairs is real - not just some cheap filling that you find virtually everywhere else. I've sampled almost all of their almond pastries over the years. The difference in the taste between what we've bought at stores and other bakeries and Daisy Organic Bakery is extremely noticeable. Everything we've purchased here has been freshly made and delicious. I can't stress how satisfied we are every time we get a chance to stop here. I called today at 2:25 PM and a woman picked up the phone and I said how are you and she yelled back "who is this?" I said that I am a customer with a question. She demanded that I come into the bakery and ask her a question in person. I then asked her if I could just confirm which products they make using 100% certified organic ingredients. she then yelled back, "Don't ask me stupid questions I'm busy in the kitchen" If you literally call yourself in Organic bakery and you tell your inquiring customer that they are stupid for asking you that question... I really wonder. Sad and uncalled for. I've never been, so maybe they have great items but after that interaction I can't imagine they are trustworthy. read more

Everything looks delicious so I wasn't sure where to begin I tried the Apple turnover which was very light and flakey and full of delicious fresh tasting apples I'll be back soon to try the cakes and other pastries when I visit or have guests. Wow!! This bakery is just amazing! Everything looks and tastes delicious! This time around I tried a chocolate chip scone. It was much bigger in size and still warm from the oven. It tastes very fresh and not too sweet, just the perfect amount of chocolate chips! I also got a gluten free chocolate cookie for my little one and it was a big hit. Come early because that's when everything comes out right from the oven and the selection is the best. Stop by and try everything! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the goodies. read more

Tried this new organic bakery for a cake. Picked out this cheesecake cause it looks different. None of the cakes had pricing that I could see. The cheesecake on top was good, the bottom cake part was pretty dry. It's something different but it also wasn't completely great for the price. I think I expected it to all be amazing for the price. Tried it first time after seeing good reviews, I later realized most reviews were for croissants and puff pastries, I got honey cake and double chocolate eclair, they were pricey, paid 13$ for this, but it would have been worth it if they tasted good. Honey cake's cream tasted stale and might have gone bad as it had a slight tangy taste, the sponge was also not soft, so I think it was more than 3-4 days old. Eclair's outer cover was also not soft and filling inside had light chocolate flavor, it tasted like a cheap pastry. I really felt like the quality was below average and felt cheated for paying this price for stale pastries. Didn't even finish the portion I served myself, though I love desserts otherwise read more

The owner proceeded to SCREAM at me that I was interrupting her in the middle of baking cookies and that I CANNOT ask any questions over the phone (even if it is to ask what size cake would feed 20 people). She YELLED at me that she DOESN'T CARE HOW FAR I LIVE and that I must come in person to ASK ANY QUESTIONS! I have never in my life been yelled at like that by any business let alone any person. I went to the bakery and from the minute I walked into the door, the owner had a bad attitude. She made a mistake and added chocolate croissants to my order, when I told her I didn't order them, her attitude worsened. She was rude, disrespectful and called me stupid in front of my 6 year old daughter. My only regret is that I inhaled all the pastries before taking a picture of them. I ordered 3 different types of danish, a chocolate chip cookie and a few cupcakes. Every single item was phenomenal! You can tell the pastries are made with love. I even went back the next day to pick up assorted danish for my grandmother to bring to her friends. They absolutely loved them! I'm so happy this place is within walking distance (that might be bad for my waistline). The people that work there are just as sweet as the pastries they serve. We ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate Mousse and fresh Raspberries on top and it was absolutely delicious! The cake was a little more expensive than what I would have liked to spend on a cake, but understandable as the bakery is organic and there was fresh fruit on the cake, plus it was custom ordered. WOW... Spoke to a guy on the phone about gluten free options. Long story he was rude asf. Plus, when he went on to tell me check out the reviews that people with celiac disease goes there all the time. Sure bud! This did not give me confidence that it was not a cross contamination. He was angry or disturbed that I asked questions about their bake goods. What is the attitude for? No, idea. He left me with it is my choice to come or not! Excellent customer service. The woman when I called before straight up poop from the mouth. Run do not walk.. Not worth a dime. Went there before too long time ago they use the same gloves for gluten and gluten free. Love coming here on the weekend to pick out a couple pastries. The people are always nice and quick to serve you. Some of our favorites are the chocolate almond croissants, almond cookie, chocolate chip scone, and danishes. Their Turkish coffee is good too and it's a cool process they use to heat it up. If the store isn't too busy I suggest trying it because it does take a little time to make. I haven't tried any of their cakes but they look beautiful. If you want more variety make sure you get there early-ish (before 11/12) or else they'll start running out of stuff. Highly recommend! read more

Glad we tried this new place out! We got the chocolate croissant, almond croissant and madeleine. Both croissants were super fresh and delicious but we didn't love the Madeleine as it had an orangey flavor to it. They didn't have signs on their baked goods yet so I assume it'll come as they just opened. Labels would help customers decide faster as the indoor space is limited and people have to wait outside. We went around 10am both times and they didn't have any desserts or cakes out. I guess those come out at a later time? Will definitely be going back to try more of their selection! read more
