Our favorites are the lobster tail, tiramisu, and San Giuseppe pastry, but you truly cannot go wrong -- everything is outstanding. They also did our custom gender reveal cake. It was a light and fluffy shortcake, filled with lobster tail cream (which I previously didn't even know you can do). It was cute, delicious and everything we were looking for. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and had an excellent experience, a cozy, traditional Italian bakery that is family owned and operated . They are well known for their lobster tails and cannoli and I tell you!!! They are divine! Freshly made and full of flavor without being overly sweet. They make a phenomenal espresso and cappuccino! Love love love this newly discovered local bakery! They have all your favorite traditional Italian pastries, cakes, and seasonal, trendy items. They are always busy with customers lounging and attending to walk-ins. The seating area is minimal yet comfortable. Good luck finding a place to sit in the seating area, It's always packed! They have a great variety of fresh baked cookies, pastries, and cakes. They also had pre-packaged cookies. We had purchased a pound of Italian cookies and some pastries. Everything was delicious! The lobster tails are amazing! The cannolis have a good shelf life as we had some leftover and the cannoli shell and cream still tasted fresh days later. I started going back to this bakery and all of their pastries I've tried so far are delicious. From their famous Lobster tails, canoli's and their cakes have been on point. I am newer to the area and needed a bakery to create a custom cake for my mother's combine birthday and retirement celebration. I took a gamble by googling the closest one to me and found Rispoli's in Hawthorne. I went in with only a week's notice and asked for a custom cake with significant things from my mom's life to be captured on the cake (careers, hobbies, children, pets, etc.) Gabrielle, who I believe is the owner, kind of giggled when I asked if the time frame would be a problem because I had seen many bakeries on-line that required extended notice, and reassured me that a week was plenty of time. I showed her the images and told her my ideas and she basically said no problem. A week later I picked up a gorgeous cake that beautifully captured all the milestones throughout my mom's life. The cake was truly the hilight of the party - everyone was so impressed, a few even moved to tears. The cake was equally as delicious as it was beautiful. The bakery itself is immaculate and efficiently run and the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. My only regret is not getting more detailed pictures of the cake. Overall this was a 10/10 experience. I would absolutely use Rispoli's in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious cake disguised as a beautiful piece of art.
