I put in take out order of 10 wings from this Wingstop for the first time. I was happy to see they allow 2 flavors for the order. I picked the plain and lemon peppers. The store was empty when I arrived. They have a parking lot right next to the store. The store was very clean and tidy. Lots of tables to sit. Clear big menu with all the wings, sandwiches, tenders, sides listed on the menu. I was shocked to see they have more than 12 flavors, all nicely described in huge wall poster. I waited about 5 minutes to get my order. The wings were decent size. They were moist inside. But the outer layer was dry crisp kind that I am not a fan of. But I loved the lemon peppers that had citrusy flavor with hint of salt. Overall it was a nice first time experience. read more

I gave in to my boneless wings craving one late night. I only saw pricing for combo meals on the menu and I didn't want that much food, so I asked the employees if there was an option to buy just the wings themselves. They told me they sell their wings for around $0.70 a piece with a minimum order of 10. That's such a steal! I ordered 10 of them, half hickory smoked BBQ and half lemon pepper dry rub. I also got a fountain drink with it, so my total was around $7. I was not expecting that, but I'm not complaining lol. The wings hit the spot! Crispy, juicy, and tender. The lemon pepper dry rub was a little too salty, though. Just a warning, they do use a fair amount of breading. I personally don't mind, but I know some people aren't a fan. read more

I have never tried Wingstop before this visit and it was to take advantage of the BOGO deal for chicken sandwiches (code: BOGOSAMMY until 5/21/23), so I have no other input than the pickup experience and the chicken sandwiches. Ordering was easy through the app, and you have the choice of selecting a flavor of chicken as well as a separate dip on the side. I opted for one sandwich with original hot and blue cheese dip and another with Hawaiian and honey mustard dip. The sandwiches were too flavorful(?) for me. I found the original hot flavor to be spicier than the Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich. Comparing the two, the Wingstop sandwich has spicy sauce that covered the breaded chicken while the Chick-fil-A sandwich has spice in the breaded chicken itself. I appreciated the side dip because it allowed the opportunity for the taste buds to cool down a bit. As for the Hawaiian, I found it to be too sweet and probably not the best choice for the sandwich. The pick up experience was just okay. The prep time was 17-22 minutes according to the app, and it was weird how there were no napkins separate from the ones in the plastic cutlery bags. There was only a paper towel roll -- one of those that you would dry your hands in a restroom. Considering how messy my hands got after eating the sandwiches, I am surprised at the lack of napkins. Clean and nice set up location in Bergenfield. Just know that you can only place an order online at this location and you can pickup or have it delivered. The wings were great! I got the mild boneless wings with ranch sauce. The fries were ok, I felt they had a lot of salt (maybe it was a bad batch) I got the coke from the touch screen machine. Well, I tried to give a different Wingstop a chance to redeem themselves so I went to the one on Washington Avenue in Bergenfield while I was at Walgreens waiting for a prescription. I went in and I asked him if I could place an order and I told them my horrendous incidents with the previous to Wingstop's and they vowed that they would not make me wait 45 minutes so I took a seat and I watched people come in and out that I put orders in on the phone or call them in and watch them pick up their orders and leave. Close to 45 minutes later, they call me and then say oh I'm sorry it wasn't you. It was the another guy and he walked in and his name was Tom too picked up the order and left and I sat there for another 10 minutes which made almost 50 minutes after getting my wings home and looking at a $58 bill. I was very annoyed because it looked like they sat there for 15 minutes before they told me that it was ready and then the ride home will be another 10 minutes so the wings where pretty dry and I didn't ask for fries so I didn't have to deal with that, but it had very little buffalo sauce on it but it's gotten to the point where the only place in my area that has good buffalo wings and they're consistent screaming hot when you get them and you're only 10 minutes from home and they're still screaming hot when you get home and that's Applebee's on hack Hackensack Avenue in Hackensack and they're consistently good. read more

However, we decided to try them a few weeks ago because we were too lazy to drive far and our first choice deli was already closed for the night. Every question returned a completely blank face, and after the third round of "I have no idea", we gave up and put in orders for 2 chicken sandwiches. We figured, how can they screw them up, right? There were at least 6 'cooks' in back looking like they sort of knew what they were doing; there was much tossing of things in metal bowls, but that takes a bit of...talent...even if the front was abysmally short on knowledge. Well, it turns out there are a myriad of ways one can mess up a chicken sandwich -- We were the only ones in the place, but understood that orders called in/apped were being filled. However, 20 minutes for our order started irking me. I gave it a shot and asked the genius behind the counter how much longer, and she offered the same blank look from our first line of questions. Hey, at least she showed a bit of consistency. The sandwiches finally came out front. We went the two blocks home, sat, bit in, and looked at each other. The sandwiches were on barely fresh buns. The pathetic piece of fried chicken was so...horribly dry...and the sheer amount of salt in the 'flavoring'...I could feel my blood pressure rising just chewing thru it. Worst place to order delivery. I placed an order on their website and never arrived. When I called the driver the phone number didn't exist. I contacted the store again and they said there is nothing they can do since they use Doordash. I contacted Doordash, they gave me two options and I requested if they can deliver my order again, they contacted the store and they didn't want to re-do my order, so basically I spent a couple hours to find a solution to what happened with my food and the only company that was able to help me was my credit card. We pre-ordered wings day of, which was an absolute must because we still had to wait when picking up. The lady we spoke to by phone was seemingly confused on how to take a cc by phone. Bit of a disappointment. In line with the earlier reviews, the food ingredients were not the freshest and you could tell that they fried in oil that is a few days old. The chicken was definitely low grade and you could smell some spoilage in the wing sauce. The fries were decent but cooked somewhat inconsistently, with some pieces being dark and some undercooked. Oh yes, and they didn't include the dip. Given the ongoing Covid issues, I made it a point to reheat the food thoroughly in a toaster oven before eating, and that may be part of the reason why some of these issues were particularly noticeable. read more

Just left this location maybe 30 or 40 minutes ago. Not one person was wearing gloves in the kitchen. Makes my stomach turn literally. I ate one wing due to a lapse of my judgement before I threw it all out. Beyond the sanitary problem during a pandemic... my food was not ready on time which was abnormally frustrating since I was watching 3 people in the kitchen cooking without gloves. Bottom tier chicken wings. Sauces aren't that great either. If you go to another spot that serves wings, for example don chicken, they actually use decently sized wings compared to the little wings from this spot. I wish they would get better quality wings so their overall experience could be much much better. I wouldn't even mind paying a few extra bucks for much better wings. The Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff ...They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, That chicken sandwich is to die for! And for their prices it's 100% worth it. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal today. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in (Nj). The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal!
