This is my first EVER yelp review, although I've been using the app for over a year now. I need to share my disappointment in this new establishment... I live very close to Wingstop and was super excited in anticipation of it opening, I've given this place 3 chances, I even went on the day it opened out of pure excitement! unfortunately, they have struck out. I've eaten in once and taken out 2 times. The wings have been soggy and undercooked 2 out of the 3 times, and the 1 time they weren't a salmonella scare waiting to happen, they were still average at best... I have specified ALL 3 Times "well done, Extra crispy." But to no avail. the sauces are tasty, and the ranch dressing is excellent, but unfortunately the name is the business is wingstop, not ranchstop. I will not be a return customer here. read more

I've tried to give this Wingstop location benefit of doubt but after 3 incorrect orders I can no longer let it slide. Not only did they send me the wrong order but they tried to put blame on the delivery guy from DoorDash who doesn't pack the food... The manager refused to resend the correct order, he had an overall nasty attitude. At one point he expressed his frustration by saying "what a fucking night". My order was over 50.00, they sent me 2 orders of fries and 10 wings, I even offered to go pick the food up and the manager still refused to remake my order. The staffs were polite. Place is clean looking. The wait wasn't long. Maybe that's a tip off that something is not right. The chicken wings we got was chewy. Manager/ claimed owner.. was rude and ungrateful for my business. I came in to pick up an order that was prepaid online 15 minutes before closing time. I was unable to get a fountain drink because they had already closed the machine down for the night. Fine. I was willing to trade for a bottle soda.. but before I could say anything the manager/"owner" said it was my fault because I came to get my food after the time my order was promised. He said that us customers need to be more considerate to the workers and not order food right before they close. He said he doesn't want to pay the overtime and his workers need to get home because they live far away! I spent 10 mins informing this man who had to be at least 10 years my senior, on ideal customer service. I will never patron here again. I demanded a refund because Of the way I was treated. I have never had the phone hung up on me placing an order as it happened today 12/28/20 at about 7:30 PM because after ordering I needed the list of sauces repeated. The staff person didn't know that I was actually parked outside and after being insulted I came in the restaurant in less than a minute. The claim was that "oh the phone disconnected." I asked him why didn't he call me back with caller ID? He claimed they didn't have caller ID. I will follow up with corporate. However the body language suggests he was not being truthful. Needless to say I left this poorly run operation without placing the order for myself and the second order for the next day for my staff luncheon for 43 people. I have tried to support this restaurant on numerous occasions and have been very disappointed with the service but this is my last visit to Bergenfield Wingstop. We ordered the boneless wings special with choice of 3 sauces, 3 dips and 2 sides for $29.99. The orginal hot was my favorite sauce, the right amount of heat and flavor although all my wings weren't fully covered with sauce. The boneless was good size portion. Although our side of cole slaw was very small the seasoned fries were typical size. Took 32 minutes to cook 10 regular wings and 10 boneless which is way to long. Girl at the counter said 18 minutes. The food is overpriced for the quality and they charge extra for blue cheese and celery? There is nothing special about the wings here. The audacity of the staff here is unparalleled. First off, I was extremely parched as I walked in from a hot day to order my hot wings. Naturally, I requested a water cup to accompany my 40 hot bone-in wing order, but was repeatedly denied by the staff. I tried explaining it is NJ state law to provide free water cups, which has been my experience living in New Jersey the past couple decades. Not only was I still denied, but they kept trying to get me to pay for a styrofoam cup...let me make this clear...pay more for an empty cup over a drink?...frankly I had never heard of such a thing in my life. To top it off, they were also out of napkins, which is a critical issue at a wings establishment. In addition, one of the staff members occupied the lavatory for so long worth a full inning's time of baseball (and I don't even play baseball let alone know the rules). When I entered the lavatory I found a hypodermic needle in the trash and there were no paper towels, so I'm convinced the same staff members were handling food. Frankly, I didn't know it was possible to ruin a wings experience in this fashion! I lament having to leave this review, because the wings themselves were palatable, but all other facets of the establishment were in serious need of repair and the issues need to be rectified promptly. I first learned of WingStop on trips to CA. I was thrilled when they came to NJ. The North Bergen location was okay; this location is far better run. They have a better kitchen organization - the only one I've ever been to with a pickup window - and the employees seem very well trained. Best of all they have one of those fancy Coke dispensers that gives you any flavor you want. I am not a huge fan of super hot wings, so my favorite flavors are BBQ and lemon pepper. I had a different experience than most of these reviews. going in, I always wanted to try wingstop after watching videos of people eating their wings online. So, I looked up the one closest by me and found this one. Reading the reviews, i was skeptical, but decided to go anyways. I got original hot wings and garlic parmesan, and really recommend the garlic parm ones. They were crispy and delicious. The staff was very kind and polite as well, especially the cashier, who was very patient and sweet. Overall, i had a very good experience at this location. will be coming back read more
