Food is great. My husband, my four year old son and I have been for breakfast and dinner. If you have a small child. They have everything. Esp pancakes for breakfast. 3 large fluffy Blue berry pancakes, and they are great. They have some sort of cinnamon butter, it's really delicious. My son loved them. For dinner they have an endless menu you can definitely find something for your child. My husband and I both had for dinner burgers. Great! Along with fries. Also great. After some shopping in Westwood we were both starving and didn't want a formal sit down meal so we came to Eighty-Twenty. Service was helpful as we had never been there and I always have so many questions when ordering. The place was absolutely packed at 6pm on a Thursday so thankfully we were able to get a table to eat there. The smash burgers are on the smaller side for sure. As I was glad I ordered a double patty instead of a single. The burger comes only with their sauce and onions on it for $11 which was a little pricey but the burger was not greasy and deliciously crisp so worth it in my opinion. I usually am extremely picky with sauces their special house sauce is sweet but peppery and I actually really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were good just a bit soggy so they needed to be a bit crispier. The wings were als great, good flavor, moist and tender meat. The fries were amazing. So crispy and fresh. I loved the mandy sauce too. I could put that on everything. It tastes almost like Big Mac sauce to me but better. Where do I start? It was my daughter's 12th birthday and she wanted a burger (I hate burgers). She wanted a chain burger place but I wanted something cuter. I drove a hour to get to this place and it didn't disappoint. You walk in to a line that's moving smoothly and a young man greeting you like family. He helps us through our order so nicely. I discovered Eighty Twenty from a TikTok and immediately knew I had to go! They were very busy on a Sunday night, since the pop-up is only open Friday - Sunday. The interior was pretty much what you'd expect from a deli, but there was plenty of seating available. I live about 30 minutes away and had an appointment nearby. Afterwards I felt like grabbing a burger and saw Eighty Twenty had very high reviews. Yes, you heard that right. Confit AND Pork belly in the same sentence, and in the same sandwich. So food: Churros and onion rings were 10's across the board. The burgers I'd rate a 8.5....it's good, but here's my opinion: smash burgers are poplar because of the crust that forms when being smashed (Maillard reaction) ...there was no crust. Also, I love burgers, but they were a "smidge" salty. They still rank HIGH, don't get me wrong, I did finish the burgers lol...just my own thoughts; just offering some constructive criticism.
