Got takeout from here for lunch. The burger was excellent. The French dip was tasty and had tender meat but don't think it's worth $30. The chicken sandwich was good but I've definitely had better.

Failed my exam today, but I'm not letting it get me down. I need to know this material inside out for my new project so I am treating this as a study detour. Celebrated at The 130 Shop. It's a revamped spot that switched from seafood to burgers and shakes. I spent about $35 on a Giant Fried Chicken Sandwich, crispy Tots, and an amazing Yuzu soda. The service was lightning fast under 10 minutes and the vibes were Immaculate. Lady who took my order was so kind!!! I'll definitely be back.

This small restaurant is a hidden gem! It has a delicious selection of burgers, sandwiches and of course, their signature French dip! Service is super fast as well! I ordered the 1/2 pound meatball which was delicious and the meatballs were so juicy! I also ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which came with a glistening and plump bun! And I got the crispy tater tots which was oh so crispy as well as the tomato soup that pairs so well with all these sandwiches! Of course, I can't forget the French Dip which is packed with soft and juicy prime rib! Honestly, the bun could be a bit more crispy and in my opinion, I've had more flavorful aus jus dip but it was still a solid sandwich! I think these sandwiches are so worth a try - do note that they are a bit on the pricier side but for someone who eats small portions like me, you can definitely make one sandwich into two meals!

I got a chance to stop into this spot for lunch! When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into a cozy spot. I was served by Kyler and he was nice. I ordered: Tator Tots Chicago Style Hot Dog 130 Cheeseburger Buttermilk Fried Chicken I really loved the Hot Dog and those tots! All in all a really good experience!

The most expensive sandwich I've seen in my life but it's really good but can't justify the price.

I love this fast, casual place!! The burger was steak house quality and I definitely recommend adding bacon in the beacon. Was that thick cut bacon can you get in steakhouses? The chicken sandwich was massive and delicious and of course the French dip was delicious! This place has such a cool vibe and I'll definitely be back!

The Dip sandwich is tender flavorful and delicious! But is it $32 dollars delicious? That is the 32 dollar question. My answer is sorta but not really. Don't get me wrong it's a great sandwich, nice flavor, good size, but this isn't Katzs in NYC. This sandwich is on the pricy side. Next time I will try the pork or one of the more reasonably priced options. Although, if you have $32 burning in your pocket there are certainly worse ways to spend it. The au jus and horseradish were nice accompaniments. For a side I got the fries which came with ketchup and truffle mayo. Fries were excellent, nice and crispy! Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Run don't walk here. Ordered takeout of roast beef sandwich with jus on the side and a horseradish portion on the side. Absolutely insanely delicious. 10 out of 10 sandwich. Great bread in sandwich as well, soft on inside with good crunch bite on exterior. Caesar's salad was also first rate. Meatballs, burgers, dogs also menu which I'll have to hit next time . And there will be lots of those!! Offshoot of sister restaurant 130 Club.

Stopped in for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised with the service, food, and ambiance. We were greeted and seated immediately and our food came out within a few minutes piping hot and perfectly cooked. Would definitely make the trip again!

Insane array of sandwiches! The burger was my favorite, so juicy and flavorful. Chicago hot dog has so many flavors packed in. Also it was my first time having a French dip, the flavors were great.

I really liked the old venue and staff, but the new staff, new owners, and food are excellent--I give it a 10 out of 10. The owner welcomed me warmly and calmly, and showed me to my table. The entire staff treated me wonderfully--especially Melly, my waitress today, who had a great smile. The young woman who brought my food was very kind, as was the young man who brought my coffee. Everything--from the coffee and the "Mami" breakfast to the Nutella Cro-nut I took home--looked like it was made with love. The coffee (an Americano) was delicious. As for the breakfast--the "Mami" breakfast--the Jerusalem bagel blew me away because it was freshly made. Overall, the food was a 10 out of 10. The restaurant itself--a wooden cabin with both indoor and outdoor seating--is beautiful. Prices are fair, and portions are generous. The entire restaurant was very clean. I will certainly be back to try more dishes. Congratulations to the whole staff, and blessings to you all. It was a pleasure to see the place full. The noise level was typical for a busy spot--lively, but not annoying.

The Shashuka.... Again very personal opinion .... Used to go better with the warm pita bread rather than the cold and dry challah. The Schnitzel sandwich also. The fries with alioli was another disappointment. The fries were soooo regular and not even fried properly to give it crispy texture. Just bland .... Visited this place twice and honestly, I don't think I would be recommending Mami to others...

Early into the new year I received an email "2025 Daily Voice Readers' Choice Awards" and it was…read moretheir 'Best Deli in Bergen County' that caught my attention. "Bambino's?! New Milford?!" - as someone that hits an Italian deli every single weekend I had to make the trek to see what's what. I excitedly walked in first thing on a Saturday morning and my Spidey senses started to tingle that something was amiss. In this long narrow storefront a lot of shelf space was given to... various bags of chips. And there were at least two racks full of... bagged breadcrumbs?! Everything just felt 'off' from all the other Italian delis in surrounding towns so I just got two items (which set me back over $40) and I found it really odd that instead of a secure plastic container for the meatballs and sauce they were put in a foam takeout container instead. (Really?! For something this soggy?!) As for the (overpriced) items I picked up? The meatballs and sauce - very good. The breaded chicken cutlets - extremely disappointing. The two people behind the counter - incredibly friendly. No joke: I immediately took a ride over to Luigi's in Wood-Ridge to get all the other items that Bambino's didn't offer. I'm baffled how this joint 'won' when Bergen County has an abundance of much better places... Michael's Salumeria (Lyndhurst), Annamaria's (East Rutherford), Piccolo's (Ridgefield), Bartolomeo's (Englewood) and, of course, Luigi's - all come to mind. (Yelping for a lot of years, over 700 reviews and still less than 40 two-star review. I really try my best to avoid being a Negative Nelly but sometimes...)

You know some of the ways to tell if ethnic food is good in a non enclave area? These aren't 100% but often good signs. The workers mostly don't speak English. The customers are all that ethnicity, many of them also speaking little to no English. They hit both. It helps a lot to speak Spanish, especially over the fone. But they make it work if all you know is gringo. Huge tortas. Surprisingly good shrimp quesadillas. Proper tacos and birria with the consommé. Refreshing salsa verde and creamy salsa roja.
