Owners Edwin and Rocco recently opened this shop and it is off to a phenomenal start. The grand opening was so successful the deli sold out of sandwiches on opening day. Let's check out a couple of the subs I explored: Chicken Caesar: This sandwich was piled with hearty chunks of breaded chicken cutlet and romaine lettuce on seeded Italian bread, which is freshly baked and delivered every morning. I personally recommend supplementing additional caesar dressing for that extra flavor. This was a winning sandwich that I cleared down to the last bite. Coach Ed: Named after the owner, this sub was piled high and deep with roast beef and topped with fresh mozzarella drizzled in truffle balsamic glaze. This time I decided to explore the seedless italian bread. Seeds or no seeds, it is a win-win with whichever bread you choose. It's all about the bread which definitely contributes to the second consecutive win! If you are really enjoying the cheese, fresh balls of mozzarella are available for purchase. I had always assumed this was a liquor store with not much of a "mart" or "deli." But was I pleasantly surprised today when I actually went in to try it. Not only do they have a very very good selection of liquor (including cold beer, coolers, and the like) but they have a very nice selection of grocery items and household and personal products. The deli had a selection of what appeared to be fresh food. I saw a very moist egg salad, tuna salad, chicken cutlets, roasted potatoes. They appeared fresh because they were not dried out or discolored. They had a nice selection of prepackaged buns and baked goods. And they had a fair selection of cold cuts that appeared to turn over quickly because the cut sides did not appear discolored. I intend to return soon to actually try the deli food and will post again. The liquor prices were fair for a local liquor store. Can't say about the food or products because oddly there are no prices posted on the racks or the items. Being it's a local convenience mart I would expect them to be higher than a supermarket or the like. My gallon of Poland Spring water was $3.99, so that is certainly more than the supermarket but it isn't outrageous for the local neighborhood convenience mart this is. For now this place get a good review based on this experience. When I try the deli I will circle back.

This day I said, "Today is the day and I'm getting a freaking sandwich from this joint.", so I rode my road bike here and it was a good 25 minute bike ride to get there. But when I finally got there it was surprisingly closed. I was confused because Yelp says they open at 8am and here I was there at 8:30 am and closed. I was super disappointed and was like ok today isn't the day I'm getting this sandwich but hey at least I got a nice workout getting here and back. Just when I was about to leave something told me to call and lo and behold Cosmo answered. He said they open at 9am and that he was making fresh mozzarella before they opened for the day. I told him on Yelp it says your open at 8 am and he said Yelp makes up their own hours but for me to wait and he'll make me the sandwich and it should be ready in 10 minutes. Awesome and he did do the selection #1 sandwich in 10 min and all before he was officially opened for me consisting of sopp, capp, salami, ham, fresh mozz, sharp provolone, sweet peppers and LTO. That was awesome customer service to me. So as I went inside to pay, he told me $10. In my mind,"I'm like seriously for this heavy sandwich I thought it would be at least $12. What a great deal" I thought. I paid and thanked him and rode my bike home burning off some calories before putting them back with this sandwich . It is a pretty good sandwich and for the price you would pay at a crappy Subway place. I can see why this place is popular and will be back for more sandwiches.
