Latte

Service was quick for Sunday at around 3, we were seated immediately. Our food didn't take long to come out and was fresh. I had the grilled chicken avocado with mac & cheese, which was a lot of food so I definitely took some to go. I can't say there was anything special about the mac & cheese however, the grilled chicken sandwich was good. The potstickers were also great. I particularly liked the sauce with it. My date had the grilled salmon and he said it was good. The latte was also pretty strong. It was one from the special menu that I can't remember the name too. Overall, I would probably go back to try other things that they have mainly breakfast.

Lychee Pomegranate Loose Leaf Iced Tea Chipotle Chicken Pasta

Obsessed! I don't leave too many reviews but I feel this was needed. we hesitated at coming at first because the reviews were all over the place. Therefore I feel the need to say, this place needs a higher star rating! This pasta had layers to its flavor and is honestly what a chipotle pepper actually tastes like. The caribbean pasta had this amazing smoky flavor the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I really think this place nailed it! I'll be back to try more of this food for SURE.

I took it to go so I can't accurately say how good the service is but I had no trouble on the pickup. The food was mediocre at best with an average portion size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself offers a fair amount of seating and is clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't say there's anything I really enjoyed about my meal so I can't recommend this place.

The food was okay. I had a green machine smoothie which was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Low key place where it's not hard to hear the person you're with so conversation is good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was average.

Our brunch was unforgettable with their amazing BYOB mimosa mixer! I brought my favorite prosecco and my friends brought champagne, and they served it up with a carafe of fresh squeezed oj & a fresh selection of strawberries and fruits to customize my mimosas. To top it off, their crepes were the perfect pairing.. I absolutely loveee the Nutella strawberry banana crepe. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and creative. I can't wait to go back! The waiter as always was prompt and pleasant.

Service is excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy place with great food to sit and chat for a while[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] this time we had the dulce de Leche French toast and eggs Benedict and mango oolong tea. The French toast isn't my favorite thing. It was prepared well but I probably should have stuck with their savory crepes which are outstanding.

I was super excited to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat right away. The place was super cute! Jess, the manager served me and she was great! I started with the red velvet latte and it was super tasty. I then had the fried ravioli and that was also good. For my meal I got the shrimp wrap with a side of macaroni and cheese. I really liked the wrap! They also gave me mimosas. I really enjoyed my time.

Love their service food, Nutella crepe is the best! Their drinks were nice and sweet too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We stayed a while ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the panini and it was tough, maybe get the wrap next time !

Food was all cold and overpriced. Server came back to us max 2 times to drop off drinks and take our order. Never coming back. We barely got anything and bill was $118. Mac n cheese balls looked amazing and then when I bit into it, tasted like microwave bullshit and sauce tasted like lunchables pizza sauce. Never again.

Iced Caramel Macchiato

Place was nice and the staff was friendly. They were no longer searching breakfast when we came which was a bummer. I was looking forward to trying the French toast! Next time. I had ordered a decaf iced caramel macchiato and forgot to ask for almond milk. The waitress changed it for me without any problems. The iced coffee was sweet - more than expected. I also ordered the caprice crepe. I have a sweet tooth, but it was a little too sweet for me. I could see it being a smaller portion served as a dessert. Definitely not something I'd recommend one person to order for themselves. Sadly everything I ordered during this trip was a bit too sweet for me.

I happened to be in the area on Thursday morning and needed a place for a solo breakfast and a working station. I found Kafe Neo on yelp and so glad so popped in! Located in a cute shopping area filled with additional eateries. They have a quick take out section as soon as you walk in and a great seating area. What started as a quick 20 minute plan resulted in two full hours of a remote comfortable working station. I ordered a cappuccino which was delicious and beautifully presented. I also ordered a Greek yogurt with nuts, honey and blueberries. The yogurt was filling, super rich and absolutely delicious! I was surprised that the yogurt started out at 7.50 then nuts, honey and 6 blueberries were an additional 7$. It was all worth it though. See pics!! I would definitely return for a more abundant breakfast/brunch. They also serve mimosas!!

food was good (hubby had the rib steak sammie and I had the mozz sammie), server was great but person behind the counter warranted me giving only 3 stars instead of 5! Can anyone say ponytail or even a cap! She had long hair and was the only one who didn't put it up or wore a cap! Even the make servers had man buns! I was taken aback as I watched her fling her hair everywhere, even swishing it off her face with her hand (both gloved and ungloved) all while she was making crepes, filling bottles, wiping counter. She then put that same gloved hand into a container (may have contained crushed cookies or bits of candy bar), ate from that same hand and continued about her business without skipping a beat, changing gloves or even washing her hands! When my server came around and asked if we wanted dessert we said no (not after watching that display of hair being flung about). The owner(s) and/or mgr(s) of KAFE NEO need to take heed and retrain their employees on safety, health conditions and other OSHA protocols If this is going on in the front of the house I could only imagine what's going on in the kitchen! PUT YOUR HAIR UP AND OUT OF THE WAY!

I ordered a large latte with cinnamon, a croissant for chocolate chip cookies and a heated cinnamon roll. All this took 20 minutes to get. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people and took very long time to fulfill the order. Which was unfortunate because the coffee is actually pretty good, and it looks like they have a lot of events at this space that would be fun to come back to. Like a poetry open Mike game nights art painting. But the care in service leaves a lot to be desired. The cinnamon roll was soft and tasty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated and the chocolate chip cookies were also very good. the croissant was smashed inside the take away container as an afterthought and not with any care. This is something that I believe warrants attention by Management to train the staff. And waited essentially 25 minutes after ordering for

Usually, we tend to take out as I did today, or sit outside at the tables too. It's always a special treat- fav dishes -bolognese lasagna and rice balls. On other visits, we also loveeee the gnocchi. ***3 1/2 stars***…read more Yesterday I decided on a total whim to just grab lunch here before seeing Disclosure Day across the street. I've walked by a gazillion times, usually in the mid-afternoon or evening when the place is really jumping (at least based on the outdoor seating situation). This time around, I came for an early lunch around 11:30am when there were only a few other people sitting down and I had my pick of indoor or outdoor seating. I didn't get much of a look at the interior during my brief trip inside, but it seemed pleasant enough. Morally I didn't have much of a choice though but to sit outside at their communal picnic tables, given that it was sunny and 72. You do the math. As most of my solo eating adventures go, the service was excellent. It definitely helped that it wasn't busy, but both waitresses on the premises were super attentive and I ordered my meal literally within 30 seconds of sitting down. I wasn't on a hardcore schedule (my movie wasn't for an hour and 15 minutes) but I was in and out in probably 20-25 minutes, which is just wild for a legit sit-down meal. Top marks all around. I liked that they kept a bottle of tap at my table too; just efficient there. As soon as I saw gnocchi on the menu, my decision was made. I went with the gnocchi al pomodoro off the lunch entree menu, which was honestly just okay. This is usually a dish I really enjoy, and while it was clearly fresh (the chunks of mozzy are a nice touch) it was pretty bland and tasteless. It's extremely rare for me to look around for seasoning, but I did here (and didn't see any within range, so let it go). Honestly very surprising. The gnocchi itself was fine, but the pieces were so small it was actually difficult to eat/get them onto the fork tines. I had to scoop most of them up, and it was a slow process. Not the biggest deal in the world (the gnocchi was tasty in and of itself) but just a slight annoyance. The price point was fine; with tip, I paid a little over $20, which is on par for Montclair. Maybe it was just an off day/lunch, but I think the play is to come back for dinner with a bottle of wine and get a different dish. This place is very popular (during my brief meal, several people walked by openly declaring they were going to stop by later to eat) so perhaps a few grains of salt here, which would have been nice to add to my dish.

What really stood out was the attentiveness of the staff--they genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I ordered the breakfast burrito along with a vanilla, honey, cinnamon latte with espresso. The burrito was different from what I'm used to--instead of being filled with potatoes, the sausage was the highlight. It was packed with flavor, very saucy, and incredibly filling. I loved the unique twist. My friend ordered the avocado toast (without egg) and the chickpea salad sandwich. Both looked fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed our lattes, which were smooth and perfectly balanced with the vanilla, honey, cinnamon, and espresso. Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

The ambiance is chill and quiet. The café is tucked away on the side of the street - I actually missed it the first time and had to circle back. We were lucky to find street parking right in front, though there aren't many spots available. As for the pancakes themselves, I thought they were just okay. They're made with four eggs, and you can definitely taste them. That said, my daughter absolutely loved them, so it may just come down to personal preference.
