Red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes with baby blue, white and sage green buttercream frosting

Delicious and beautifully decorated! I made this order short notice and they were able to deliver such tasty and beautifully decorated cupcakes for my sister's baby shower. The colors went perfectly with the theme. The cupcakes were also packaged carefully for easy transport. 1 quick call and an inspiration pic were enough to make my vision come to life. Not only do they make custom treats like cupcakes and cakes, but they also have croissants, challah bread, ice cream and coffee! Always my go to fix on the weekends.

Came here for a hot beverage & went with the Masala Chai, I was very underwhelmed. It just tasted like milk. They do have a large variety of baked goods, which I did not try. I would give this bakery another shot, maybe other beverages or baked goods will be better! The staff was very friendly and patient with me since I took a couple of minutes to decide what I wanted to order!

We bought a few baked goods like their chocolate and plain , crumb cake, empanadas, and other fresh goods. We sat for a cappuccino and this coconut ring. We will definitely be back to try their other yummy goods. #supportlocalbusiness

Dry Cake, Terrible After Taste ...
    John D.

Stopped in today 7/16 to get a birthday cake for my son. The counter was filled with what looked like new cakes, the first cake we picked the girl behind the counter said "I can't sell you that one" the cake has cracks in it , I must have missed that one this morning. We finally picked another, when we cut into it, the vanilla cake inside was very dry and had a bad after taste, I would "NOT RECOMMEND" This bakery, The Allwood bakery would never put old cakes into the showcase, disgusting

Rude staff. Moldy pastries. You're better off with a shoprite dessert. Don't bother giving them you're business.

I went here last year around Thanksgiving as I have been a big fan of this bakery for many years. I actually drive almost 30 minutes for treats to bring my family for the holidays. It was busy when I went in and a I waited in line for my turn. Once the man in front of me ordered, and the young blonde girl behind the counter called next, I went to place my order and the man in front of me mistakenly thought he could have her do the rest of his order. I still tried to get her attention, but she refused to even look at me. Here I will note that I look very different from the other patrons in the bakery at the time... take that for what it's worth. The other workers saw this happening, and didnt acknowledge how I was being ignored by this girl. The middle aged woman who works there, who I have bought from for years, then went to help the person after me... what kind of service is that? The crazy thing is the man in front of me even apologized for what he did because he was confused by what was going on, and the middle aged women STILL DID NOT HELP ME. I always thought she was a manager or owner... perhaps she doesn't like people with my skin color. Who knows. Finally, after an upsetting amount of time where I was feeling humiliated, a brown haired girl (with absolutely great eye makeup said she would help me). Good to know one decent person works there. I used to go there regularly when I worked in the area and stopped going as often, but I will never go again and have stopped recommending it to others. For the area, there are plenty of bakeries without people like this blonde girl, who would love to have a diverse group clientele who doesn't look just like them :) Avoid this place if you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen. The way I was treated was disgusting and shameful.

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. Lyndhurst Pastry Shop has done that for me for over 40 years. A true North Jersey institution. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Leonard A. The space itself absolutely lives up to the hype. It looks just like the pictures and videos online. Beautifully decorated, trendy, and very inviting. The staff was also friendly, which made for a pleasant experience overall. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it looked. I ordered the buttermilk cast iron pancake with berries, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs on the side. The pancake itself was disappointing. It tasted more like cornbread, and not the slightly sweet kind like Jiffy, but more savory and noticeably salty. It was also pretty dry. The mascarpone cream and berries helped balance things out a bit, but I'm not sure if too much lemon or salt was added because my pancake leaned heavily on the salty side. I also tried the "All Night Long" drink, which I actually really enjoyed. It was strong and well-made, and I'd definitely recommend it. Overall, while the ambiance and drinks were highlights, the food didn't quite meet expectations. I can't say I'd rush back, but if I did, I'd be curious to try one of their dirty sodas instead.
