We came to this PB store to get the bakery and pastry items for the week. It was a big size store with gorgeous outdoor seating space and also lots tables available inside as well. The interior space was clean and organized. All of the bakery, pastry, and confectionary items were in long glass cabinets. The register, cakes and pastries were at the back end of the store. The menu had all the tea, coffee and drinks option available. We bought couple of supreme croissants, palmer, donut and chocolate ganache cake from here. Prices were same as other PB stores. The checkout process was easy. Despite lots of people being in the store, we didn't have to wait too long for checkout. The staff member packed all the items nicely. Nice PB at Allwood NJ. it's inside a plaza with parking lot. They have indoor and outdoor seats. Great for the summer. The pastry is standard like other locations. Many options and good quality. I also order a tea at the counter. They are efficient and friendly. Bathroom needs to be checked more. And the tables they need to keep it up for cleaning as well. I loved the pastry display here and how it's easy to see both the product names, ingredients, prices and grab and go yourself. For some reason, a lot of bakeries hide this information so it ends up being a lot of questions for information that should be standard. And there is a great variety in pastries so there is something for everyone. We got the cinnamon apple pie and the blueberry cream cheese pastry which were both pretty and great blend of pastry and filling. The best thing we got, though, was the pineapple cranberry pastry. It was such a unique flavor combination and so soft, it felt more special. They had an array from breakfast to dessert pastries including some beautiful-looking cakes. The checkout process was quick, and there was plenty of seating for dine in, but they packed up neatly to go. The parking area can get crowded, but there is a lot of parking available. I was very impressed by the selection and the product quality. Can't wait to try some more soon! read more

Arrived to the Clifton location of Paris Baguette this morning as they opened the doors (6 AM) & was kindly greeted by 2 employees busily filling the pastry cases. Upon entering, you take a tray & a pair of tongs & essentially serve yourself - which can be confusing for first time visitors or during a busy time. The cases were not yet fully stocked with all of their pastries, which was disappointing because I had reviewed the menu & made my selections ahead of time, but what was available did look fresh & delicious. I did ask one of the employees stocking the cases if they had something particular available (Biscoff Cookie Butter Cruffin) & she promptly checked in the back for me with a smile & it was ready & packed up shortly after. They also have a handful of grab & go options available and a fridge with fresh breakfast sandwiches that they can heat up for you. I decided on a few available pastries & an iced chai latte. All was delicious & I would definitely return for these items. Check out was seamless & the girl behind the counter was kind, quick, & engaged in light conversation despite it being so early in the morning. Sadly, I did not happen to catch her name. The store was still in the process of opening for the day, but it was neat & clean. Seems like it would a nice spot to work from if you WFH. Not sure of their wifi availability though. Pretty good bakery located on Allwood Rd. In Clifton. Next to Sephora in the shopping center on Rt 3. I think they get 5 stars for layout and the fact I can pick my own pastries. Could get dangerous with so many selections. Got the chocolate croissant which was very good. Was flaky and had plenty of filling. A lot of the other selections looked great and I will be back to try some in the future. Service was pleasant and there is a parking lot . The bakery looked very clean. This morning, I redeemed my free birthday cake slice from Paris Baguette at the Clifton location. If you sign up for PB rewards, you get a free slice the week of your birthday. I went with a Rainbow Cake slice. It was fresh, tasty, and so pretty looking :) The Clifton PB opened a few months ago and it still feels new. Inside is bright, airy, and clean. The pastry display cases were well stocked and impeccable. I also like the store's mural that features local landmarks such as the Hamilton House Museum and the Paterson Great Falls. The woman who took my order was friendly. Actually everyone in there - both workers and customers - were in good spirits. This is a really nice PB. read more

This place was packed on the Sunday afternoon i went there. I purchased two pastries and a cappuncino. My capppcino was pretty good and the pastries were good as well. There were displayed where you needed an utensil or paper to grab it. You have to get a box prior and pick your pastry. 3/23/25: Paris Baguette finally opened in Clifton, NJ. I stopped in today. I couldn't get over the large crowd of people in the shop. Place is very clean. All the employees had a smile on their face. They were more than happy to assist. I picked up a Chicken Caesar salad, Croissant, Apple turnover and Palmier for takeout. Just heated up the apple turnover. It was so yummy and super buttery. It was just as delicious as the first one in the PB- San Jose, California a couple of years ago. Of course, I had the apple turnover before the Chicken Caesar salad. LOL.. Indoor outdoor seating is available. Parking is available. Paris Baguette is located next to Sephora in the Clifton Promenade Shoppes. For those who remember the original Stew Leonard's on Allwood Road, that's where you'll find Paris Baguette! Just finished the Chicken Caesar salad salad while I was writing this review. So happy this new location just opened by us! Had an awesome experience here for our first (and definitely not last) visit! There are sooo many options and all look so good we can't wait to come back and try more. We had a cold brew and hot coffee and both were delicious, I think they use Lavazza brand coffee beans and they were so fresh. We picked the almond pastry which was stuffed with almond cream and super light. The hasbrown egg and cheese was also delicious and we will definitely be getting both again. This location is a bit smaller than the location in Livingston. Took much longer to get our drinks than anticipated. And the lines are long. It was extremely loud as the acoustics aren't real great and the music was loud. Maybe I just stopped in during an extremely busy day. Just wish it had a little more relaxing vibe like the other location I have been to. I didn't realize it's been open for a while. I just don't understand places that pre make simple sandwiches. Why would anyone want a sandwich that is supposed to be melted come cold in a bag that was made hours earlier? I just don't get it. The entire idea of having all your food out so any customer can touch with their hands then you have to go wait on a long line anyway makes no sense. This is not a good spot for food. Stopped by Paris baugette to meet our friends and we had a great little coffee and snack. I got a Carmel macchiato which was delicious and super high quality coffee, and then we got the coffee cronut, a rice milk donut hole, and a sugar donut (180 calories are you kidding? Or maybe that was a typo? I ate it already so too late anyway!) each sweet treat was absolutely delicious and you could taste how fresh they were. These were not run of the mill Dunkin Donuts or 7/11 donuts, these are the real deal and taste like they came from a local bakery. The food selection here is great -- fresh, tasty, and with plenty of options. I would definitely give it five stars just based on the food alone. However, the layout and setup really take away from the experience. The way the customer line is arranged -- with chains to show where it forms -- is right next to the seating area. It doesn't feel sanitary or comfortable to be eating while people are lining up inches away from your table. If they could move the customer line away from where people are dining, this place would easily be a 5-star spot. Just a little rethinking of the flow would go a long way. read more

For Clifton NJ, Paris Baguette is a welcomed addition to the area. There aren't many places to get a decent Croissant in this area. So I'm grateful for that. However, the service is extremely slow most of the time. I mean, why does it always take over 5 minutes to get a large black iced coffee? It consistently takes a minimum of 5 minutes after the order is made and paid for. Mind you, the staff is very courteous, but often seem to lack urgency when it comes to orders. As for the ambience, it's pleasant and uniform to other locations as far as decor is concerned, but not necessarily so much the architectural layout. A tip for this location, turn down the music a few notches because some recordings in the playlist are louder than others, and the acoustics of the establishment (with the all the tile, glass, metal, and carpentry) make it more noisy than the music needs to be. I'd suggest turning down the "mids" on the equalizer or amplifiers. Overall, I enjoy Paris Baguette and I'm very happy that they're in the neighborhood! read more

I placed an order AHEAD for the holiday cake. I came in a week ago and asked if I can order it ahead for today which is 12/30. They said yes and took my order and I paid. I come in today and they tell me that they didn't prepare it because it wasn't put in the system. The lady in the kitchen started yelling and giving attitude that she doesn't wanna make it because the holiday is done. If that's the case they should have told me no from the beginning. I also told them that it's for my birthday and that I want happy birthday written on it. And I get the cake with happy new years. I'm beyond disappointed and aggravated. The cake also looks disgusting and I'm afraid to eat it since the person who made it gave so much attitude so god knows what she did to the cake. It's my first time ordering cake and will be my last. Im willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, as they just opened a few days before the writing of this, so hiccup are to be expected, but completely disinterested staff and half empty cases issues they are going to need to address quickly. Case in point, their are entery ways tried to open one door and it was locked, the worker inside saw me pulling on it and looking around, and instead of just pointing to the other set of doors I didn't see he turned around and continued to just stand around. Then when I asked if a few of the missing items would be out soon, instead of asking any of the baking staff , that was right there, he say "I dont know", again look I get he is front end and this is probably a back staff thing, but maybe take a second to just ask one them, other costumers might also want to know later too, so asking once would help him later with others. Then when I try to check out and get my coffee the cashier seemed more interested in chit chatting with coworkers than working the counter, even as someone motioning to her there were customers. They tried to give someone with a different name my drink; I had to tell the person checking out to look at the slip near the drink with the names. I've been to another of their ocations in Ridgefield and have had excellent service. Food was good but a bit squished in box. This was highly disappointing; there is a difference between needing more experience/training and just not caring. read more
