Some pastry cases
Brittany C.

Arrived to the Clifton location of Paris Baguette this morning as they opened the doors (6 AM) & was kindly greeted by 2 employees busily filling the pastry cases. Upon entering, you take a tray & a pair of tongs & essentially serve yourself - which can be confusing for first time visitors or during a busy time. The cases were not yet fully stocked with all of their pastries, which was disappointing because I had reviewed the menu & made my selections ahead of time, but what was available did look fresh & delicious. I did ask one of the employees stocking the cases if they had something particular available (Biscoff Cookie Butter Cruffin) & she promptly checked in the back for me with a smile & it was ready & packed up shortly after. They also have a handful of grab & go options available and a fridge with fresh breakfast sandwiches that they can heat up for you. I decided on a few available pastries & an iced chai latte. All was delicious & I would definitely return for these items. Check out was seamless & the girl behind the counter was kind, quick, & engaged in light conversation despite it being so early in the morning. Sadly, I did not happen to catch her name. The store was still in the process of opening for the day, but it was neat & clean. Seems like it would a nice spot to work from if you WFH. Not sure of their wifi availability though. They also have outdoor seating available.

Huge Paris Baguette lover - I even had their cakes as my bridal shower desserts and purchased pastries to have at my wedding - with the approval of my fabulous venue! So you can only imagine my happiness when a location opened up close to home! Wow, love the location - good seating, both indoor and outdoor. Great parking. Delicious bakery options. Definitely take a look!! You won't be disappointed.

This morning, I redeemed my free birthday cake slice from Paris Baguette at the Clifton location. If you sign up for PB rewards, you get a free slice the week of your birthday. I went with a Rainbow Cake slice. It was fresh, tasty, and so pretty looking :) The Clifton PB opened a few months ago and it still feels new. Inside is bright, airy, and clean. The pastry display cases were well stocked and impeccable. I also like the store's mural that features local landmarks such as the Hamilton House Museum and the Paterson Great Falls. The woman who took my order was friendly. Actually everyone in there - both workers and customers - were in good spirits. This is a really nice PB.

This place was packed on the Sunday afternoon i went there. I purchased two pastries and a cappuncino. My capppcino was pretty good and the pastries were good as well. There were displayed where you needed an utensil or paper to grab it. You have to get a box prior and pick your pastry. The place was lively so if you see a table you like, claim it before it is too late.

3/23/25: Paris Baguette finally opened in Clifton, NJ. I stopped in today. I couldn't get over the large crowd of people in the shop. Place is very clean. All the employees had a smile on their face. They were more than happy to assist. I picked up a Chicken Caesar salad, Croissant, Apple turnover and Palmier for takeout. Just heated up the apple turnover. It was so yummy and super buttery. It was just as delicious as the first one in the PB- San Jose, California a couple of years ago. Of course, I had the apple turnover before the Chicken Caesar salad. LOL.. Indoor outdoor seating is available. Parking is available. Paris Baguette is located next to Sephora in the Clifton Promenade Shoppes. For those who remember the original Stew Leonard's on Allwood Road, that's where you'll find Paris Baguette! Just finished the Chicken Caesar salad salad while I was writing this review. It was really good!!! Don't forget to download the Paris Baguette App. for some free stuff!

Hasbrown egg and cheese, almond pastry, hot coffee and cold brew

So happy this new location just opened by us! Had an awesome experience here for our first (and definitely not last) visit! There are sooo many options and all look so good we can't wait to come back and try more. We had a cold brew and hot coffee and both were delicious, I think they use Lavazza brand coffee beans and they were so fresh. We picked the almond pastry which was stuffed with almond cream and super light. The hasbrown egg and cheese was also delicious and we will definitely be getting both again. PRO TIP: get everything warmed up they come out insanely good!

As an avid patron of Paris Baguette, I have had the pleasure of visiting numerous establishments across New Jersey. While some have experienced decline, others have emerged as beacons of excellence. The recently opened Paris Baguette in Clifton exemplifies this resurgence. With its expansive glass storefront that overlooks the outdoor seating area, the interior exudes a sophisticated ambiance. The wood-floored seating area complements the display cases on mosaic tiles and matching furniture, creating a visually appealing and inviting space. Each banquet seating area is equipped with a power receptacle and USB ports, providing convenience for guests. Additionally, the recessed oil paper slots are a thoughtful touch, enhancing the overall pickup experience. The staff reacts to the customers' request very professionally. To commence your day, a freshly baked baguette and a cup of coffee from the in-house bakery will undoubtedly elevate your mood and provide a delightful start to your day within the serene confines of this beautiful establishment.

I just don't understand places that pre make simple sandwiches. Why would anyone want a sandwich that is supposed to be melted come cold in a bag that was made hours earlier? I just don't get it. The entire idea of having all your food out so any customer can touch with their hands then you have to go wait on a long line anyway makes no sense. This is not a good spot for food. Everything has tons of ingredients and seems like airport food. Last time here for sure. Go to a local bakers that isn't a chain. Funny how people hate millionaires but shop at a place like this.

This Paris Baguette is smaller than the one I've been too. It still has all the treat and savory options the other one does. J had a delicious chicken pesto sandwich. They warm it up well. Bread was perfectly crisp. We had mocha lattes that were delicious. We also had the Nutella croissant. It was perfectly soft and tasty. Service was quick and it was quite full for a weekday. The only negative was that the tables were not cleaned up for future customers.

Stopped by Paris baugette to meet our friends and we had a great little coffee and snack. I got a Carmel macchiato which was delicious and super high quality coffee, and then we got the coffee cronut, a rice milk donut hole, and a sugar donut (180 calories are you kidding? Or maybe that was a typo? I ate it already so too late anyway!) each sweet treat was absolutely delicious and you could taste how fresh they were. These were not run of the mill Dunkin Donuts or 7/11 donuts, these are the real deal and taste like they came from a local bakery. I recommend checking this place out they blow Starbucks out of the water.

The food selection here is great -- fresh, tasty, and with plenty of options. I would definitely give it five stars just based on the food alone. However, the layout and setup really take away from the experience. The way the customer line is arranged -- with chains to show where it forms -- is right next to the seating area. It doesn't feel sanitary or comfortable to be eating while people are lining up inches away from your table. If they could move the customer line away from where people are dining, this place would easily be a 5-star spot. Just a little rethinking of the flow would go a long way.

This location is a bit smaller than the location in Livingston. Took much longer to get our drinks than anticipated. And the lines are long. It was extremely loud as the acoustics aren't real great and the music was loud. Maybe I just stopped in during an extremely busy day. Just wish it had a little more relaxing vibe like the other location I have been to. I didn't realize it's been open for a while. To me it felt like they were still trying to get the kinks out or maybe just short staffed. Food and coffee was on point. And the staff was very friendly despite how busy they were.

Upscale bakery. Great products but a little pricey . Friendly staff. Very inviting ambiance.

I went here last year around Thanksgiving as I have been a big fan of this bakery for many years. I actually drive almost 30 minutes for treats to bring my family for the holidays. It was busy when I went in and a I waited in line for my turn. Once the man in front of me ordered, and the young blonde girl behind the counter called next, I went to place my order and the man in front of me mistakenly thought he could have her do the rest of his order. I still tried to get her attention, but she refused to even look at me. Here I will note that I look very different from the other patrons in the bakery at the time... take that for what it's worth. The other workers saw this happening, and didnt acknowledge how I was being ignored by this girl. The middle aged woman who works there, who I have bought from for years, then went to help the person after me... what kind of service is that? The crazy thing is the man in front of me even apologized for what he did because he was confused by what was going on, and the middle aged women STILL DID NOT HELP ME. I always thought she was a manager or owner... perhaps she doesn't like people with my skin color. Who knows. Finally, after an upsetting amount of time where I was feeling humiliated, a brown haired girl (with absolutely great eye makeup said she would help me). Good to know one decent person works there. I used to go there regularly when I worked in the area and stopped going as often, but I will never go again and have stopped recommending it to others. For the area, there are plenty of bakeries without people like this blonde girl, who would love to have a diverse group clientele who doesn't look just like them :) Avoid this place if you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen. The way I was treated was disgusting and shameful.

As a young kid from Louisiana, one of the first things I missed was the culture, flavor, and sweet treats that reminded me of home in New Orleans. Back then, my teammates used to tease me relentlessly about being the "fat rookie from Louisiana" because I was always chasing pralines, cookies, pastries, and every sugary delight imaginable. Not long after arriving, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that instantly made me feel at home -- Lyndhurst Pastry Shop. This led me to "SACKING" tons of NFC QB's over the years. From day one, Paulette, Jerry, her father, and the entire staff have treated me like family. Decades later, they are still absolutely knocking it out of the park. Whether it's their incredible Italian ice, authentic cannoli, specialty cookies, or my personal weakness -- their unbelievable apple rings -- this place never disappoints. Truth be told, I can't stop there without bringing one home for my wife. Some places serve food. Others serve memories, tradition, and comfort. The space itself absolutely lives up to the hype. It looks just like the pictures and videos online. Beautifully decorated, trendy, and very inviting. I ordered the buttermilk cast iron pancake with berries, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs on the side. The pancake itself was disappointing. It tasted more like cornbread, and not the slightly sweet kind like Jiffy, but more savory and noticeably salty. It was also pretty dry. The mascarpone cream and berries helped balance things out a bit, but I'm not sure if too much lemon or salt was added because my pancake leaned heavily on the salty side. I also tried the "All Night Long" drink, which I actually really enjoyed. It was strong and well-made, and I'd definitely recommend it. Overall, while the ambiance and drinks were highlights, the food didn't quite meet expectations. I can't say I'd rush back, but if I did, I'd be curious to try one of their dirty sodas instead.
