Well Done eggs - Perfect- sour dough toast; loaded tot; chicken sausage option
Janean W.

Loved my breakfast at Syrup Downtown! The food was fantastic from start to finish. I went with the chicken sausage option, and it was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The eggs were cooked exactly right -- well-done and still tender, just how I like them. The loaded tots were awesome -- crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor -- and the pancakes had that perfect crispy edge that makes them unforgettable. Service was excellent -- friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. It's clear the team here cares about both the food and the experience. Highly recommend Syrup Downtown if you're looking for a brunch spot that gets all the details right. I'll definitely be back!

Upon arriving in Denver, we were starving and looking for a great breakfast spot, and Syrup absolutely delivered. The food came out quickly, which was exactly what we needed after traveling. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with a spicy syrup and honey mustard ,both dipping sauces were incredible and paired perfectly with the chicken. The chicken strips were breaded to perfection: lightly coated, perfectly crunchy, and not greasy at all. I also had a hazelnut latte with oat milk, and it was delicious, smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. If you're visiting Denver or just looking for a solid breakfast spot, Syrup is definitely worth the stop. We left full and very happy!

This place is a little bit of a walk from the convention center area where we were staying, but stopped here while walking to pick up a rental car for a day trip. It sits in a business district and is tucked at the bottom of building that also houses a shopping area. In the morning for real fast time , there wasn't much happening at the shaping area, but Syrup was definitly open. Our server was open of the most friendly people we encounter! Fun, kind, and helpful. The food - fantastic!!!! I had French toast with a sampling of a couple of their unique syrups. Out of this world!!! Don't miss this place!

Nutella Stuffed French Toast

Rudest service I've experienced in a restaurant. I understand it was New Year's, but the waiter calling us "dear" does not make up for impatience or unfriendliness. I asked for water after being acknowledged and was ignored, yet the table next to us was given water immediately when they asked. It made the difference in treatment very noticeable and uncomfortable. Because not many places were open, this was our first time here, and unfortunately it was not a good experience. The bill was about $25 for a meal and a drink, which is reasonable, but service matters. I'm from California and have never been treated this way at a restaurant before. It honestly felt like assumptions were made about us, and I felt unwelcomed. The environment itself felt dull and lacked liveliness, which didn't help. The food was okay at best. The sausage didn't look appetizing, and the safest choices were the French toast and syrup. Good service could have made up for the mediocre food, but it didn't. I initially planned on tipping since it was New Year's, but after being treated rudely, having a simple request denied (switching hot chocolate to water right after ordering), and then having the server turn to my other party to wish them Happy New Year while ignoring me, it felt intentional and disrespectful. The first staff member we encountered was kind, which makes this even more disappointing for the rest of the experience. Overall, not a welcoming experience, and I wouldn't return based on the service alone.

I found this place three years ago when I came for a show at Red Rock and decided to revisit on my current Red Rock trip and it was just as amazing as I remembered! My friend and I stopped in around 1130 on Saturday morning and were able to be seated right away. There was no wait which was a change from my previous visit. The menu was just as extensive as before and I ended up getting the breakfast burrito which was absolutely amazing!!! The portions here are huge!!! I also got to split my friend's side of French toast since I didn't have room for the full French toast since my burrito was so big. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Denver thats looking for a great brunch spot that won't break the bank.

Located inside what appears to be a mall / shopping center. Staff was friendly and attentive without being overly present! Food was decent; my French toast was wetter / flimsier than I anticipated but taste wise it was fine. I enjoyed the blackberry syrup (reminded me of a boysenberry jam I used to eat when I was young). I had a dirty chai latte with oat milk ($9) but I would not recommend that drink. the rest of my party enjoyed their drinks (lattes) though. It

I dream about this place when i become unconscious from all the drinking. LOVE SYRUP!! I tried all of the specials, everytime im in town i leave the airport and beeline right to the sweet sticky hive itself. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito, its heaven in a warm tortilla. The crack bacon brings the crack heads off the street with that one and the churro doughnuts are daddy's favorite! I like to dip into the sauces even when i run out of doughnuts! Staff is always friendly and never profile based off appearance which is always a plus when i forget socks! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Egg white omelette with tater tots

I ordered the garden omelette - it comes with spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, squash, micro greens, and feta (it was fine although too much squash for my liking, that's my fault, should've ordered somehting without it). My son LOVED the Nutella stuffed French toast. Customer service was great, everyone was really friendly and attentive. Wait times vary, it appears to be a popular spot. We waited about 15 min when we arrived around 11am (not bad). The location was a bit confusing to find at first- it's located inside of what seems like a multi-purpose office building. However, I was able to ask for directions once I located the building and found it quickly.

Receipt for Saturday breakfast

Enjoyed a leisurely solo breakfast at the bar. Coffee was hot and strong, with a side of cream, I expressed a desire for a spicy Bloody Mary and was steered to the the Ultimate Mary, and the bartender explained it came with a skewer with an olive cheese a hot pepper and a slice of bacon if I wanted it, which of course I did! The special, on July 11th was a flatbread with cheese, bacon, roasted tomatoes, a cream and other deliciousness and an egg to order. It was wonderful and worth every penny and calorie. Overall I was please except for the final bill, I did not notice until after I paid as I was chatting with a couple next to me and by then the bartender was off to tables and other guests (two bartenders handing the bar and several inside tables on Saturday morning). For the ultimate Bloody Mary whose description includes the slice of bacon I was charged an extra $1 for the bacon, this is not listed on the menu nor explained. Seems pretty shady to have an items that includes an ingredient and then charge extra for it. My bad for not looking closer at my bill and for Syrup for not updating their menus for their extra fees

Coffee and Strawberry Lemonade mimosa

I had an amazing time experience eating breakfast here! This restaurant is within in walking distance from the many hotels in the area. I highly recommend walking so you can work up an appetite and after you have finished eating you can walk off the great food you will eat here. When I walked in, the hostess greeted me and sat me in secluded spot in the restaurant, I definitely like it because I was by myself since my wife was working today at the expo they have going on. You can ask whatever you would for a drink, but you must try one of their mimosas! I had the strawberry lemonade mimosa with a coffee and water. I also ordered myself the Garcia Omelette with diced potatoes. The failover of the omelette was delicious and juicy. The eggs were not dry and the cheese was melted just right. My wait er was awesome as he was the only one waiting serving tables. I also heard him giving advice to another customer for shopping. The customer service here was phenomenal! My waiter ensure all of us were taken care of in a timely fashion. He would even asked each of checking out if we wanted a coffee or water to go. The ambiance of the restaurant was chill with some reggae music playing in the background. The music wasn't too loud either, it was just right to relax and enjoy your food here. I highly recommend trying this place out if you're visiting the Denver, CO area.
