We ended up here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is casual and the staff were super friendly and engaging. The food totally hit the spot and was delicious.
So I heard about this breakfast item called the Mile High Tower - which is chicken, potatoes, shrooms, cheese under hollandaise sauce . So I came in to try it . Service was fabulous as the host is also the bartender and server . It was 7am so I am competing with people grabbing breakfast sandwiches on their way to work . The tower was .. interesting , worth a try but not something I would get again . Place is cute , affordable and worth a look
Best fluffiest French toast I've had in a long time. The crack bacon is also well named. I will definitely be back. Nice facility and friendly staff also. Thank you!
Stopped by for breakfast as it had been awhile since we visited this location. Surprisingly it was not crowded for a Saturday morning and we were seated right away. Crack bacon is our go-to starter and it never lets us down. The yogurt bowl, coconut French toast slice (side order) and the breakfast sandwich were fantastic. The sandwich came with loaded tots that were tasty and had a bit of a kick to them. Service was fast and our waiter always checked in with us. We'll be back!
Loved my breakfast at Syrup Downtown! The food was fantastic from start to finish. I went with the chicken sausage option, and it was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The eggs were cooked exactly right -- well-done and still tender, just how I like them. The loaded tots were awesome -- crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor -- and the pancakes had that perfect crispy edge that makes them unforgettable. Service was excellent -- friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. It's clear the team here cares about both the food and the experience. Highly recommend Syrup Downtown if you're looking for a brunch spot that gets all the details right. I'll definitely be back!
I enjoyed Vegan Garden omelet made with Just Egg (R) with added avocado minus the Feta. Also added "habanero tomatoes" which were enjoyable with less intensity than expected,so don't be afraid to try them. Asked that the "diced potatoes" be extra crispy. They did that and they are nicely spicy as well. My spouse enjoyed the Vegan veggie Breakfadt Bowl with added Just Egg (R) It has more veggies than the omelet, so if that is your preference, it's a choice that fulfills it. We share so we got to try and enjoy both dishes. The orange juice is not from concentrate but squeezed offside. It tasted fresh. We had a choice of oatmilk or almond milk for non-dairy creamers for our coffee. The drip coffee is typical. I enjoyed my first cup black. I called ahead and confirmed they had Vegan options on the menu. I 2as told they had Just Egg (R), Black beans, and avocado. The option for Vegan Egg Substitute is clearly marked on their printed menu for multiple dishes. I enjoyed getting dry sourdough toast and using a little avocado on it instead of butter. Overall the food was good, staff was attentive, and location just a few blocks away from the AC Hotel (and Le Meridian Hotel - same building) where we stayed which unfortunately did not have any adequate Vegan options for us today. For us it was walking distance. I am bookmarking this restaurant to go to again the next time we stay in this part of Denver for shows at the Denver Performing Arts Center.
Upon arriving in Denver, we were starving and looking for a great breakfast spot, and Syrup absolutely delivered. The food came out quickly, which was exactly what we needed after traveling. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with a spicy syrup and honey mustard ,both dipping sauces were incredible and paired perfectly with the chicken. The chicken strips were breaded to perfection: lightly coated, perfectly crunchy, and not greasy at all. I also had a hazelnut latte with oat milk, and it was delicious, smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. If you're visiting Denver or just looking for a solid breakfast spot, Syrup is definitely worth the stop. We left full and very happy!
Overall a wonderful place to grab a healthy and quick breakfast. Music playing was 90's and early 2000's and totally fit the clientele. Businessmen getting breakfast before a meeting, young couples, and friend groups would all feel comfortable dining here. Breakfast was delicious and came out quickly. Hostess was attentive and friendly. Steak was tender but lacked seasoning, not a big deal. Loaded tots are to die for, you need to get these with your meal, you won't regret it. Would recommend if in the area, but nothing to go out of your way for. 8.5 out of 10 would recommend.
This place is a little bit of a walk from the convention center area where we were staying, but stopped here while walking to pick up a rental car for a day trip. It sits in a business district and is tucked at the bottom of building that also houses a shopping area. In the morning for real fast time , there wasn't much happening at the shaping area, but Syrup was definitly open. Our server was open of the most friendly people we encounter! Fun, kind, and helpful. The food - fantastic!!!! I had French toast with a sampling of a couple of their unique syrups. Out of this world!!! Don't miss this place!
I found this place three years ago when I came for a show at Red Rock and decided to revisit on my current Red Rock trip and it was just as amazing as I remembered! My friend and I stopped in around 1130 on Saturday morning and were able to be seated right away. There was no wait which was a change from my previous visit. The menu was just as extensive as before and I ended up getting the breakfast burrito which was absolutely amazing!!! The portions here are huge!!! I also got to split my friend's side of French toast since I didn't have room for the full French toast since my burrito was so big. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Denver thats looking for a great brunch spot that won't break the bank.
This place is recommended to me by my sister and I am so glad I listened to her. The walk from our hotel was really nice and the restaurant itself is super cute. It was not busy at all on a Tuesday morning. They do take reservations, which was nice just in case and I found out they deliver! The food was beyond amazing, and who doesn't love mimosas with different choices of juices! The staff were friendly and helpful! If you're a breakfast/ brunch person, I would definitely recommend this place
Rudest service I've experienced in a restaurant. I understand it was New Year's, but the waiter calling us "dear" does not make up for impatience or unfriendliness. I asked for water after being acknowledged and was ignored, yet the table next to us was given water immediately when they asked. It made the difference in treatment very noticeable and uncomfortable. Because not many places were open, this was our first time here, and unfortunately it was not a good experience. The bill was about $25 for a meal and a drink, which is reasonable, but service matters. I'm from California and have never been treated this way at a restaurant before. It honestly felt like assumptions were made about us, and I felt unwelcomed. The environment itself felt dull and lacked liveliness, which didn't help. The food was okay at best. The sausage didn't look appetizing, and the safest choices were the French toast and syrup. Good service could have made up for the mediocre food, but it didn't. I initially planned on tipping since it was New Year's, but after being treated rudely, having a simple request denied (switching hot chocolate to water right after ordering), and then having the server turn to my other party to wish them Happy New Year while ignoring me, it felt intentional and disrespectful. The first staff member we encountered was kind, which makes this even more disappointing for the rest of the experience. Overall, not a welcoming experience, and I wouldn't return based on the service alone.
The food is amazing. The staff are all very nice and accommodating. They have great breakfast cocktails.

On our last day in Denver, we wanted to have a good hearty breakfast to see us off, which turned into a godsend since our flight was cancelled (3 days in a row, I might add.) Seeing the reviews and pictures, I knew I needed to have tots in my life so we walked the short distance from our hotel to Syrup. At first, I was confused about where it was, but it's easy to realize that it's actually IN a business building. That being said, it was kind of cold and overcast outside so we were glad there was a huge waiting area we could sit at after we put our names on the list. We waited about 30 min on a Sunday morning around 11am, which I think is amazing for the crowd that was waiting. They turn tables fast here. However, this is evident in the not quite clean cups, silverware and table. But honestly, I've never been a germaphobe and even though the pandemic has made me hyper aware, I haven't really changed my personality so it was fine. The service was good, with the exception that it was really busy and they seemed a bit short staffed. It took a long time to get coffees, which is odd but I think the bar makes them and they were busy getting drinks to people who were waiting to be seated. The food was pretty good. I got the cherry creeker and although I liked the corned beef, the eggs leave little to be desired. They had a lovely runny center but whatever they cook them in is not good. There is no flavor and there was a lot of water underneath. This made the whole thing bland but if there were no water... chef's kiss. The tots were very well cooked though. My bf got the Elvis french toast. That thing was dense and sweeeet but very, very, very delicious. Decadence itself that thing was. Would I come back? Yep. I'd love to try some of their other dishes. read more
A friend and I stopped in while in Denver on a work trip and were very happy with our choice! My breakfast tacos were delish! Wish I could have gotten a variety platter of multiple things on the menu because it all sounded and looked great! Our waitress was wonderful also! read more
Food was amazing highly recommend the jalapeño omelet, we also got a caramel iced coffee and a dirty chai latte which was pretty good. Located inside a mall and was pretty busy on a Saturday morning we went. Service was great and quick, prices were also reasonable. Lots of seating inside and has a little bar area. The was my last stop on my trip to Denver and it did not disappoint. Its a must stop if you're in the downtown Denver area and looking for some delicious breakfast. Ambiance: Syrup is located inside Ritz-Carlton so the decor and ambiance is what you would expect inside such a hotel/resort. Drinks: We had the seasonal mimosas and they were not only delicious but they looking extra luxurious with the cinammon/honey rim. The fanciest mimosa I've ever had by far. Service: There was no wait and we were able to get a table right away. We were given plenty of time to make our choices and the service overall was great. Food: I had the chicken and waffles and it was one of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. The presentation was on point so much I was inclined to share on Instagram. I was able to try some of the caramel apple pancakes and my goodness, it was incredible! My mouth is watering just thinking back on them lol. Tips: I recommend trying the chicken and waffles and/or the caramel apple pancakes. Both are exceptional. Overall Rating: This place is a nice treat with great food, a chill and also upscale atmosphere and great location in the hear of downtown Denver. read more
Came here before our flight back to grab a nice brunch. Parking was quiet easy for Wednesday afternoon. There's a plenty street parking nearby if you don't want to park in the building because it's quiet expensive. The restaurant itself is located in Denver Place. We were seated right away and we ordered bunch of stuff. Our favorite is their beignet, so if you come here, spare your gut for this one! I got cherry creek because it says that dish what makes this restaurant famous. I was disappointed because the egg, both of them, we're not runny. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not. I also recommend to ask for extra crispy for their tater tots. You can thank me later! Other food are just ok. They are standard brunch food. Their Crack bacon is so sweet they don't taste like bacon, but I enjoy them. Will I come back again when I'm in Denver? Probably.,but to try their other food in lunch section. read more

Came with my gluten sensitive friend, and she was ecstatic that they offered gluten free waffles and pancakes. She got the waffle foster style, and I got the Nutella stuffed French toast with the Kahlua syrup. We also shared a side of the maple pepper bacon because it was smaller than the serving of the crack bacon- it was good but I wouldn't order it again. We were both in heaven with our meals though. The fruit topping was fresh, and the syrups were super flavorful. Everything was perfectly cooked. We came on a Sunday at 10:30am and waited about 30 minutes- not too bad! Someone mentioned in a review that they do call ahead seating, but when I tried they said they did not so- expect to wait. Worth it! The decor was gorgeous- loved the classy holiday touches. If you come on a Sunday and can parallel park, then the meters are free, but hard to find! Overall, if you don't mind braving downtown, this is a great restaurant for brunch! We had the Wisconsin Eggs Benedict with Hash Browns and the California Eggs Benedict with a Fruit cup (extra charge, of course). I would give both 3 stars. One egg on each order was overcooked while the 2nd was properly cooked, slightly runny. Both dishes were less than warm when delivered. Very little hollandaise sauce, that was disappointing. This is a very good breakfast option. Eggs Benedict of all varieties. Pancakes galore. The prices are not bad at all. $9.99 for the standard two egg, meat, smashed tater tots and choice of bread breakfast plate. Not bad at all. The bennies are about $12. Coffee is delicious. A choice of juices. Service is laidback and friendly. This location is on the first floor of an office building. I believe there is another Syrup location. The restrooms are shared with the other first-floor tenants. You need to obtain the door code to gain entry to the restroom. I'm sure this is to keep the homeless out. The food is tasty and plentiful. You get enough tots for two or more people. Go there. read more

Walked about to mile from my hotel just to try the pigs in blanket! Pretty damn good and ordered it with a side of their butter scotch syrup, SHEEESH it was fire and for the price? Unbeatable. Now for the hot chocolate...Ngl it was good but half of the cup was whipped cream, sorry to say but not worth $5 Overall pretty good, I'd go again! read more

Walked in for brunch on a weekday and the place was packed. Super popular spot. Ordered the kitchen sink and it had a sizeable portion. Tater tots smothered in eggs, bacon, and country gravy. It was all delicious and the gravy along with a runny egg really tied everything together. read more
This was the most disappointing place I ate at during my trip to Colorado. I went with the Crunch French toast, which was rolled in granola. The overall result was kind of bland and dry. It was also unclear to me if I was supposed to ask for any of the specialty syrups and/or butters. Nothing was offered to me and I just got the standard maple syrup that was left on the table. What was more disappointing were the "eggs your way" plate that I shared with my date. The eggs were fine, but the tater tots and sausage patties were cold. The tater tots in particular were quite disappointing and tasted like they had been sitting out for at least an hour. They weren't crunchy and were quite bland. Was in Denver for a few nights and was craving some breakfast food. This place in my opinion was a gem. The pancakes were amazing and so were the hash browns. The pictures do not do it justice but these items had me stuffed by the time I left and wasn't too pricy. Service was amazing and our waiter was attentive. A chill spot for brunch favorites ranging from Eggs Benedict to Pancakes and more! We stopped in at around 11:30 on a Friday and were surprised to see that it was still busy. We were able to get a seat without any wait, though. The servers are really nice, and the portions for the food are big too! I got food to share: Beignets -- these were SO. GOOD. Fried, powdered sugary goodness. These were a huge serving and perfect to order for the table. The California Benedict -- super tasty, came with lots of tater tots. The eggs themselves were fairly good, though they definitely tasted better with some Tapatio sauce! Overall, chill spot with hearty portion sizes -- would recommend! read more
This is a decent lunch/brunch spot located inside of a small mall. They have limited bar seating and a decent sized dining area. The place has a couple of TVs (that were playing sports while I was there) and has a trendy/new age vibe. They have some very unique and exotic menu items. I opted to go with the Elvis French Toast and a side of Crack Bacon. It was delicious. I know why the call it Crack Bacon. It is very addictive. The brown sugar.....mmmm. I could eat it for every meal. The french toast had a perfect combination of peanut butter, bananas and bacon. It was very good and unique. FYI, the restrooms are located outside the restaurant and you will need to get a code to get in. There is metered street parking and a parking garage nearby and they do validate parking in the garage up to 2 hours. As I mentioned, the food there was delicious and the place is very new and clean. Syrup is located in what seems to be a business district inside an office building. The place was busy so I just found a bunch of people heading for an entrance and found it easily. I ordered a basic egg dish with pancake which was solid. Food came out within 10 mins so was very fast. Place is big but there's not too much to it. Decent place, not a knock on Syrup but as a tourist, prob wouldn't come here again unless I was at the 16th street mall and couldn't find anything there. If I worked around here, would pass by often. read more

This place is not trying to be anything more than it is and I appreciate that. The bananas foster French toast was simple and delicious. A tad bit much on the syrup but that's to be expected in a place of such a name... right? The Irish coffee was good too albeit a tad pricey. Perfect breakfast shop. read more

Truly enjoyed my breakfast here! I tried the corn beef Benedict and my gf tried the breakfast burrito. We also shared a pigs in a blanket and berry waffles. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Almost forgot the coffees. They had a peppermint mocha and a maple pecan coffee. Both were amazing! Truly recommend them. read more
Just as the title of this restaurant describes they are exclusively know for their syrups, French toast and pancakes. They have a list of syrups you can try and I had the coconut and blackberry with my buttermilk pancakes and WOW. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The eggs your way has a little bit of everything on the plate and the Nutella stuffed French toast was super fluffy that melts in your mouth as you eat it :p Keep up the great work Syrup I'll most definitely be back soon! Solid brunch spot in my opinion! We came here on a Monday morning around 9 AM so there wasn't a wait. The menu was pretty average, and didn't seem to have that great of a variety of options. Since I wanted a light breakfast, I split the pigs in a blanket with a friend (sausage wrapped in silver dollar pancakes). This dish was so unique and was delicious! They also have specialty butter and syrup that was flavorful. The pigs in a blanket look big in pictures, but are actually smaller than it seems. One of my friends ordered beignets, and I tried a bite. The beignets here are not the traditional kind that you would expect. These ones are more fried and crispy instead of the soft, doughy beignet. The beignets tasted more like the fried dough that you get at carnivals. If I ordered the beignets here, and got it fried and crispy, I would be pretty disappointed. I also wanted to note that the bathrooms here are nice and clean! Bathrooms are outside the restaurant, and you have to use the bathroom code that is on the chalkboard to get inside. Overall, this brunch place was pretty good, and I think it would be a solid place for brunch. read more

Brunch is one of my favorite meals and I was visiting Denver for the first time, so I landed on checking out Syrup Downtown. I had a fantastic experience - great atmosphere, great service, and the food? Amazing! I ordered The Lenny and I sort of wanted to order a second one after I finished it. If you're on the fench about eating here just do yourself a favor and come in. I will definitely come back when I'm back in the city. read more

We came here the morning of my best friends bachelorette party. Our servers name was Sydney and she was super helpful with navigating the menu and helping us find things to do in Denver for the weekend. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. This morning, the hubs and I went exploring in downtown Denver and we came across this, amazing place. It's a little funky getting in (it's in the lobby of a high rise), but, DAMN was it worth it. I had the Greek yogurt bowl with a side of espresso martini (insert chef kiss here - Shannon is an amazing bartender). The guy had the chorizo Benny. Now, I haven't tried EVERY Hollandaise in the world, but of the ones I've tried, theirs was BY FAR the creamiest, most flavorful Holly Sauce I've ever tried. I should say, however, Shannon's "tip me face" could use some work. read more

An alright little brunch place. The service here is good and quick. I tried the pancake flight (which was nothing special really) and the remedy (an alright dish, nothing spectacular). My friends did get the eggs benedict which honestly looked a little odd to me. It looked like the eggs weren't exactly poached but maybe steamed in a mold. They were perfectly circular and dome shaped which was a little strange. The eggs benedict was also served a little cold. read more

They don't have "bottomless" mimosas, but you can get a carafe of mimosas!
