First thing - I hardly EVER give 5 star reviews unless touched by the stay, the meal, or the staff - I wish I could give 10 stars! We were so happy with our stay. Even though we are locals, and only staying one night - you would never know. Everything was perfect. The room was clean, neat, and stocked, Thanks for the champagne - the wife loved it. The employees were all extremely pleasant, and super helpful. Dinner at the EDGE was unbelievable, and maybe the best cut of Beef I've ever had. The EDGE host, servers, and waiter were just so helpful, knowledgeable, and just NICE. One of the best Anniversary dinners we've ever had, and that was LARGELY in part of our main waiter - I am so disappointed in myself that I can't remember his name. He was AWESOME!!! Thank you all for a wonderful staycation, and a better 33rd anniversary. The nicest hotel in Colorado we have ever stayed in, by far, and possibly the nicest hotel and staff we've stayed in anywhere in the US or other countries. I had mentioned when I made our reservations that it was our anniversary as I do with every anniversary dinner or travel reservation I make - but EVERY single hotel employee or restaurant staff wished us a happy anniversary - not just the front desk as usual for hotels, this kept a smile on our face the entire time. Such a disappointment, Thankfully it was for business and I could right off the cost. I have stayed in similar hotels around the world and never had to pay the exorbitant rates this place charges. Yes the room was clean, the bed comfortable etc. But that's to be expected of any hotel. I've had better breakfasts at a Days Inn and they were free not 30.00+. The wait staff were not attentive and it took 15 minutes after i ordered to get coffee and another 15 to get my breakfast, eggs and bacon etc. Sorry, I am a functionalist and I did not see any benefits to staying here versus the other hotels in the area that were half the price. The check-in experience was excellent, and the staff at the front desk were welcoming and professional. However, if your intention is to actually enjoy the pool and resort amenities during your stay, you may be very disappointed. Access to the pool area required being placed on a waiting list, with multiple guests waiting ahead of us while others continued to arrive hoping to enjoy the facilities included with their stay. For a property at the Four Seasons level and the premium nightly rates guests pay, this experience is difficult to understand. Following the recent expansion, I would have expected the resort to have adequately planned for guest demand and ensured sufficient capacity for its amenities. Guests should not have to spend part of their vacation waiting for access to the pool. While the accommodations and check-in experience were excellent, the lack of availability and assistance regarding the pool significantly impacted the overall experience and did not meet the expectations associated with the Four Seasons brand. Rather than feeling like a luxury Four Seasons property, the hotel felt more like a small boutique hotel with inconsistent service standards. On our second day, housekeeping did not service our room in the morning. Instead, they knocked on our door around 2:00 PM to ask if we wanted the room cleaned while we were still in the room. Later that same day, we left for dinner and a show around 5:00 PM and specifically requested that the room be serviced while we were away. When we returned at approximately 8:40 PM, housekeeping was still cleaning the room. We had to wait in the lobby before we could return, which was extremely frustrating. Even after the room was completed, it had not been properly serviced. Trash was left behind, used coffee cups were removed but not replaced, leaving us without coffee for the next morning, and bathroom amenities were not replenished. This level of service was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the standards I expect from a Four Seasons property. VERY DATED ROOMS. Lovely lobby and room service but the rooms are not what one expects at a Four Seasons. Room had a damp smell and lacked the luxurious feeling of other Four Seasons. I've been at 2 other FS properties just in the last few months that were fabulous. The bed was still fabulously comfortable. But -- no room service ipads, bad lighting, no chargers next to the bed. Generally dated feeling. Rooms feel like your average mid-range hotel. To pay Four Seasons prices for this was a bummer. read more

For $2,000 a night this Four Seasons location was a huge disappointment. We decided to stay here as they were dog friendly and in the middle of the city. Checking in the valet and bell men were very friendly. The front lobby is beautiful as well. The front desk staff however seemed a little frantic and overwhelmed. They were extremely nice, but it was noticeable they were stressed. The reason for taking two stars away is because of the rooms themselves. This location does not have luxury rooms very subpar for Hilton or Marriot hotel standards and when considering the $2000+ per night price, this location was a major disappointment and quite frankly unimpressive, we will not be returning. I took an additional star away because even though this location is pet friendly, they have no pet accommodations or suggestions on where to walk/ take your pet to the restroom. We asked about a grass area and one of the front desk staff suggested a "park" which was a homeless encampment. The lack of surrounding knowledge and lack of regard for our safety was noticeable. After coming back and telling her about the homeless camp she said that's all that is around with grass. Well, we decided to explore a bit and in less than a 5/10 minute walk there was a large grassy area by the school and in front of the art building. For a hotel of this stature, I would expect the front desk employees to be more knowledge on the area and what it has to offer. I did keep two stars as the location is very conveniently located in the city and when we expressed our disappointment in the entire hotel and experience, they gave us a new room. The new room was still not up to par with the other Four Season locations but we appreciated the gesture. Overall disappointing and unimpressive 2/5 stars. I will not be returning and would be honest when suggesting recommendations to others. read more

3.75 stars. I always enjoy staying a FS property. The highlights this time were Jay and Ryan in the valet and courtesy car department. They stood out from their team for their extreme kindness and friendship to our family while at the hotel for 6 days. They both offered wonderful conversation, and appropriate food recommendations while in the downtown area. They even held our child car seat in the valet area so we didn't have to lug it up and down from our room everyday. The housekeeping team were good as well, providing us with additional items in our room like a small microwave, a small refrigerator & a diaper genie. I was a little disappointed that at every other FS we've stayed at, the team left our small child a FS stuffed animal, some sponge letters near the tub, baby size robe/slippers, etc in our room at check in but the Denver FS didn't opt to include any of these for her. The pool needed attending to, it was dusty with leaf/dirt debris. The hot tub seemed low on water as well. No drinking station out near the pool area and it was unattended. I did enjoy the relative quietness throughout the hotel in the late evenings, aside from the occasional door slam out in the hallway. I also applaud the quickness of the 3 elevators despite high traffic. read more

Nothing about this stay really blew me away. FS staff are always wonderful so that is to be expected. Friendly staff at check-in who made dinner recommendations for us and lobby staff who took photos of us our last night there. The spa area is wonderful with amenities like a steam room and jacuzzi open to all guests and spa guests during your stay. It's small but was nice. The gym is also very nice with a lot of equipment facing the outdoor pool/bar area on the third floor. We did have a few issues - not sure about parking costs as that was charged separately, we tried to order room service for breakfast but kept calling and no one answered so we eventually went to bed and texted the order, our breakfast smoothies were HOT (not cold or lukewarm but hot) and not satisfying at all, I booked through a travel agent who gets perks such as free breakfast and $100 dining credits and those were not properly applied. I've asked twice to have this looked into and they're not really providing any answers as of yet. I forgot my passport and the security staff were wonderful about retrieving it from the room, calling me, and making sure they were able to get it back to me quickly. Excellent service there, but nothing unexpected. Breakfast was OK but not wonderful. The menu could use a few more healthy options but with enough food that would satisfy you for the price. I'm a bit mystified by the high in-room dining charges and service charges. No one comes here thinking anything will be cheap, but I also don't want to just give away money because I happen to have some for no reason. We were charged excessive delivery fees, service fees, and then late night fees on top of all the others. My friend ordered a salad and broccoli which totaled around $40 and ended up paying something like $17 in fees. Ridiculous. I love FS hotels but think I'll be staying away from the urban ones in future, they're usually overpriced and disappointing, I'll stick to the resort-type ones such as Hualalai and FS Orlando where I feel the prices are more justified. read more

I'd never actually been worried about safety staying at a Four Seasons, but the Denver one was... interesting. The staff, while helpful-ish, did always seem a bit suspect. There were a lot of folks at the front desk who seemed constantly overwhelmed and not particularly sure of where things were in the hotel themselves. And always rushing or understaffed. The spa and room however, my goodness. The dogs were cozy, the bed and food was wonderful, the massage and steam were great. Not my favorite part of Denver, especially with dogs, but again, good for a quick stay. read more

Went for a spa day thinking that the Four Seasons brand would deliver an exceptional experience. The spa is poorly designed causing backup traffic in the lockers. The hot tub is slippery tile and designed where you can't lay down or even get more than waist deep due to the design and sharp edges. Spa had poor quality toiletries to offer. Had lunch at the pool. The wind dumped my $25 drink over and no one cared to he'll clean it up or replace it. Requested salad dressing that never arrived. Was charged a pool fee when it was suppose to be included in the spa service. Pool attendant and service was horrible. Requested umbrellas that were never delivered. Overall customer service in all areas was poor. No one even bothered to ask if we enjoyed our day. The spa service was great. But the rest of my experience was underwhelming. read more

When you are staying at The Four Seasons you expect more. - Upon check in at night, I inquired about the lounge hours and was informed the lounge was still open. The bar was dirty, so we sat at a nearby table. There were other tables occupied and being served. The staff didn't acknowledge us as they walked by. Fifteen minutes later we approached the bar and were then informed the lounge had closed. - During our 4 day and 3-night stay, I used the business center daily. However. I noticed that the workspace trash cans are not emptied. The same garbage was in the small overflowing trash bin for three days!! Which is very disappointing to begin with but goes against the "extended cleanliness" signs you see in the elevators. Luckily, I carry Clorox wipes, so I wiped down my station and chair prior to use. It makes you wonder about the attention given to the rooms. Hmmm.... - During an event, I noticed that the cash bar automatically adds an18% gratuity to your bill, but when you get your tab, you don't receive an itemized bill. Instead, you get the credit card charge slip which has another gratuity line. Sneaky way off trying to get an extra tip off you. Disingenuous at best, and not fitting for a classy establishment. - The iron in our room had sticky stuff which transferred to our clothes. - The bathtub leaked. We advised the front desk on the first night after check-in. They looked at it the next day, but it wasn't fixed. They just wiped it down as it kept leaking throughout our stay. Another amenity we could not use. We didn't trust the lounge or restaurants to fare any better, so we opted to patronize local bars and restaurants during our stay. On line showed available rooms and we needed one bad 10p at night traveling. I went to front desk knowing the hotels reputation to take care of us quickly. When I tried to check in he had said he couldn't have a room cleaned for us for hours. He didn't bother checking with Managment or rushing a cleaning staff. I told him we were hungry and could eat in their restaurant. He wasn't any help. Lost revenue went to competitor who took care of us. More two seasons here. read more

David Mcintyre was a godsend. I made my original reservation through booking.com, and I had to modify it. David walked me through the steps I needed to make this happen, then he secured an extra room and help me modify the other reservation that I had. It wasn't easy. He was moving guests who hadn't checked in yet, checking with housekeeping, and many other tasks to make this happen. Most hotels would not even make any part of this effort. This is one of the reasons we love Four Seasons. They take care of their customers and do what they can to make the experience great. They certainly did that here. Four seasons are known for their luxurious nature and this one did not disappoint. However, the front desk seemed not to listen nor show any extra care when I told them my reason for being in Denver. I was with a with girlfriend and asked that our room could have champagne or something special upon arrival since it was a special occasion. We traveled from Birmingham and wanted to experience the the fine dining at the hotel's restaurant Edge just for a short weekend. Most world class customs service agents would have made us feel special for the price we paid for the package but I did not feel welcomed. The hotel was lovely, pristine, and the food was even better. But for the price I feel they could have rolled out the red carpet better considering we paid for one of the top nightly packages. Especially after seeing reviews from other visitors who seemed to get extra perks for no reason. I just hope it wasn't because we didn't fit the elite mode enough for their taste. But beautiful hotel and the bell boy was extremely helpful with activities close by the hotel. read more

I had a last second stay here last month during a winter storm. My stay was decent (for the price I paid). I wouldn't pay $400+ a night here though. I've stayed at nicer generic Marriott properties. I also stayed at Le Méridien on my trip, which impressed me more, especially considering you can get a nicer room (in my option) for half the price. My room was fine, but nothing special. Clean. Everyone at the front desk was helpful when I checked in. I didn't have a car, but valet parking is expensive, but to be expected downtown. read more

I came for a spa experience after getting a gift card. The services are a bit pricey to do on a regular basis for me so this was a nice treat. The eucalyptus steam room was delightful and I spent my pre service time there. For the service I did a hot oil treatment drizzled over your third eye chakra only because I'd never done anything like that before. It was really relaxing but I had to wash my hair five times to get all the oil out so I wouldn't do it again. read more

This review is for the "public area" men's room at the Four Seasons, and not for the accommodations or food service areas. I was at a food and wine tasting at the Oceanaire restaurant this afternoon and had to leave to get back to my office to continue doing some weekend work. On my way to my car I found I had to use a restroom, so I looked up and there was the Four Seasons. I thought, "I'll just go in there." So I did. I walked into the drive-up entryway area. Went into the lobby area, up the stairs and down the walkway to the conference area men's room. I used the toilet, washed my hands in the lavatory area and exited the room. I then walked down and out to the street. Check out the pix. No bathroom experience could have been better (except if your honey had joined you and the place was as lonesome as when I visited:). But here's the point . . . I'm white. 64 years old. I was wearing nice jeans, a casual but nice shirt, a pair of loafers and a pile vest. I'm clean shaven. I had had a bit too much to drink, but I accosted no one . . . and no one accosted me. When I reflected on what happened, it made me think about a lot of things--like how would everyone I saw today (e.g., from street people to young tatted hipsters to people-of-color) be treated if they needed or wanted to do the same thing. My company put me here because the usual hotel we use was sold out. When I arrived they had no rooms available and it would be hours to get one. I needed some ice but there are no ice machines even though you have an ice bucket in your room. I called to have some ice delivered. Well over an hour and a half later, I got a very small amount of ice. The person delivering it I could not understand, wanted the other ice bucket in my room and barged in to grab it. Here's the quick and dirty... overall we had a great stay with fantastic service but this wasn't really a 5 star hotel like the rating system claims. We stayed for two nights on their "companion rate" which basically means that you pay for one night, get the next for free and buy one appetizer, entree or spa service and get the second for free. For the food and spa, that's a great deal (see separate Edge review) but for the price of the room it's not a deal. Here's the breakdown... $505 per night/room + next night free = 252.5 + taxes per night. Though I have no complaints for the cleanliness or overall amenities of the room, it just wasn't worth $505 a night, or really even $250 a night for that matter. I really cannot imagine someone in their right mind paying $505 a night which makes me think they played a game with the rate to make it look like a fantastic deal when in truth, it was not. The room was on the smaller side and there is no proper sitting area. It wasn't as luxurious or high end as other 5 star rooms I've stayed at. Basically when I walked in the room, I didn't go "awww... this is sooo nice!". I was more like, "this is nice.." without a lot of enthusiasm. I am however, in love with the Nespresso machine. I'd maybe pay about $225 a night, keeping in mind that even though I loved Denver it isn't a New York or LA and can't really command the same prices. We had no complaints about the service. Friendly and courteous staff, prompt valet and easy check in/check out. It's also within conveniently walking distance to all of the downtown hot spots. Only a couple of gripes... The pool closes far too early. The bar at the pool closes an hour earlier than that. Denver is hot in the summer and after a day of touring around, the only time we could swim was early in the morning or before 6pm. This might not sound like a big deal but there is no reason to close a pool that early. I thought it was weird and I don't buy their excuse of... "this is a city hotel". Secondly, a family staying near us treated the place like a Motel 6 or a visit to Disneyland. On what planet do people think its okay to a) let their kids scream in their room at the top of their lungs (these weren't infants BTW) or b) run up and down the hallways screaming at 7am? In a purported 5 star hotel, this is absolutely unacceptable and their parents need a swift kick. So yes, now I can say I've stayed at a Four Seasons but I wasn't as enthralled with the experience as I thought I would be. Nor was I really disappointed. With that in mind, I'll still be on the look out for deals and be willing to give some of their other properties a fair shot. read more

This Four Seasons was beautifully suited for Denver and my week stay was pleasant. Room service always went above and beyond, as they always had my breakfast ready the way I liked. Sometimes, a bit over bearing, asking if I needed water or towels, when I had the DND sign on for the day. I can understand though, they didn't want to miss a bit in case I did need something. Their gym and pool were great and the complimentary coffee, tea and newspapers always hit the spot (it's all about that Wall Street Journal)! I will certainly stay here when I'm back in town and I recommend you do as well. read more

The hotel is nice, but not nearly as nice as other 4 Seasons properties (e.g. Manhattan, Palm Beach). My room looked a little worse than my room at the Westin. Smaller, worn. I went for a conference and wanted to stay another couple of days. It took 24 hours to get a price per night and then we were given 2 very different numbers. We stayed at another hotel less than a block away. That hotel was much nicer and less than half the price. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, it's just not worth anywhere near what they are charging. read more

Outside the hall was a spacious hall where the food and drinks were served. As guests were waiting to be enter the hall, we served (coke, sprite, water, apple juice, etc) *There was beautiful sparkly chandeliers on the ceiling which made the room look 1000xs better! Our week stay here at the end of August was amazing! From the front desk staff that was eager to help to the pool attendants that were quick to get just about anything you might need, it was a wonderful stay. Our room, 615 didn't have a great view, but it didn't bother us. The bed was so comfortable and the large bathroom with a huge tub was enjoyed every day. This hotel is within easy walking distance to Coors Field, Union Station, 16th street shopping and a ton of great restaurants. read more

The Four Seasons is 5 starts for a reason. They just understand that the key is details to please the customers and pleased we are. From the moment my car pulled up to the door I felt as I was a princess in a fairytale. Due to the COVID pandemic we had to get our temperature taken every time we walked in the hotel but that didn't bother me since I know I'm healthy and I have nothing to worry about. The location is great right downtown. My suite had a great view of the Rocky Mountains and everything I needed was just a button away. I will recommend the 4 seasons anytime. read more

This hotel was delightful. The bed was heavenly- so comfortable I wanted to stay in bed all day! The bathroom bathtub was so relaxing and gigantic! I loved the shampoo, body wash, and lotion was wonderful. I ordered room survive one evening and the promised a 45 minor before wait time and the food was up in 25 minutes which was extremely prompt.
