Called them and said I wanted to come in and look at a 2006 Civic. Told them I would be there in less than an hour. Got there and guess what?? Car was sold several hours before I got there and I asked if the car was still available when I called!! So as is typical of Showcase Honda and all the other Van whatever his name is dealerships, they tryed the old Bait & Switch routine and wanted to sell me a 2004 Civic which is a totally different car! Stay clear of this and all the other Van "whatever" dealerships! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. The worst kind of salespeople try to manipulate and intimidate their customers. Within 30 seconds I had a hunch this was how Showcase Honda chose to do business. After 30 minutes I knew it to be true. I told these guys that I'm busy and and I don't want to mess around for hours on end. There's no reason car buying should take so long. Me: "Tell me your car and your best price and it'll either work or it won't. I know you need to make money, tell me what will work for you. My max is $6,000. What do you have in that price area?" After waiting for 30 minutes, the salesperson came in with an offer from the all mysterious "manager" (you know the guy that sits in some secret chamber ala Wizard of Oz) for $9,500. Salesperson: "so what do you want to do, counter at $6,500?". No, I don't want to counter at $6,500! This is a car with a book value of about $6,600. I looked it up on my cell phone while they kept me there waiting for no #$%@ good reason. What am I, an idiot? Did you not hear I'm not here to play this stupid game? Have you never heard of cell phones with Internet access? Maybe their game worked in 1972 but I'm not there to spend my whole day dealing with idiots trying to get me to pay more than what is fair. I tell the young kid sales guy this is silly and exactly what I want to avoid and walk away. Right as I get to the edge of the lot the kid and his manager start running after me. I make it pretty clear it's a no go while thinking about how this really is everything wrong with buying a car. Later, I went to a very small dealer about a mile away and told him exactly the same thing. I bought a nearly identical car for $6,800 in less than one hour. Proof that I'll pay a little extra to not deal with disingenuous crooks that have no respect for me or my time. Showcase Honda, you're a caricature of yourself and completely behind the times. Not only is your mode of business dishonest, in this day and age it's completely ineffective. We are the customers and we are in control. Respect us and we will respect your need to make a profit. In the mean time, go F yourselves. read more

Becareful!! They try to make you believe that they are honest and straight forward, but they are NOT. I bought a car from them today. Though I signed and initial the intial document to agree on the out of the door price and interest, they intentionally and falsely inflated the monthly payment by $50 and tried to sell an extra warranty at an unbelievably cheap price. But, they hid the fee for the extra warrany in $50. So, you need a financial calculator or an Excel spreadsheet to verify their number. And, never buy anything from them except a car. I think they can fool a lot people who are not financial savvy. This is totally a robbery on innocent people. read more

Went in for a free oil change upon arriving I told the advisor I just wanted the oil changed and not to inspect my car. Once the oil change was done, I was told my car did get inspected and my rear brakes failed inspection and that I should replace them. I was told at Showcase Honda my brakes measured at 2mm, I took my car to my regular dealership and they measured my brakes at 4mm. Moral of the story is get a second opinion before paying them for things that don't need to be done right away. If they were honest about when maintenance actually needed to be done they might have more returning customers. read more

IF YOU ARE A NEW OR INEXPERIENCED BUYER, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I wish I could give this negative stars. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. The sales person, Nelson Joahari "Joe" seemed nice on the surface but was spinning me lies the whole time, was confusing 2 vehicles and was sales pitching me the perks of a different vehicle that weren't present on the one we were in the middle of negotiating. He led me to believe I was paying $5k less for the car than I actually was, wrote the lower number on the paperwork, and then rushed me to sign without having time to really look it over. When I came back to the dealership, realizing how badly I got taken advantage of, the manager Steve was incredibly rude and hostile. He didn't listen to a word I said, didn't care how upset I was, and just kept stating "We didn't do anything wrong" even when we clearly showed him the numbers of how much they upsold us and the discrepancies between the paperwork. He then stormed off refusing to talk to us, and tried to take my contract with him. I am reaching out to the Attorney General and BBB. read more

This is a review of the service center. The guys here are always courteous and professional. I've never felt pressured to do any services that the hubby can do himself (brakes, air filter, etc) They always have my car ready in a timely manner. Come to think of it, I've never had a bad experience at the service center. They have a nice little waiting area in side with lots of seating, popcorn machine and video games area for the kiddos. The lobby is kept clean as opposed to Bell Honda. read more

So it's mean I spend $3000 to buy nothing?I tried to contact with the worker,he just told me he will call me back or email with me!I was waiting him almost 1month. Awful customer service. I had to call service several times just to get the most basic questions answered and I found out later that even then, Whitney provided me with false information which would have ended up costing me extra. The service center here is absolutely unethical and horrible. I was a loyal customer of many years and always got my oil changed here. First of all, a simple oil change will take close to 4 hours. But that's not all. They will tell you that multiple things are wrong with your car, and need to be fixed. I was stupid and trusting at first, and got many things replaced. Which seemed strange to me, since I have a 2012 Honda, and if my car needs THIS much work every six months, then why do I even have a Honda in the first place? Finally, after another experience, in which they told me MULTIPLE things were basically broken, corroded, and unsafe to drive, I took it to a few other mechanics in the Valley. It turns out, my car was fine. My shocks were fine, my hoses were fine. They will lie to you and exaggerate the truth any way they can. Absolutely pitiful. I will never be back, and Showcase, shame on you for being such a terrible business. Also, in no universe does it take 4 hours for an oil change. You all are terrible people and need to find another line of work if you cannot get your stuff together. read more

AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING SCAM. The service isn't too bad but when it came to buying a car is when it gets ridiculous. Not only was I lied to about the car and how nice it is with features, when we were determining the price of the car the salesman said he got the price of the car to 275.99 a month I was fine with that but when they went to work out the contract for the vehicle the final price a month was $318 a month, not including the gap insurance!! Of course with the warranty you have to get it serviced at the dealership and the prices are ridiculous!! And of course they want to charge me $400 for some extra un-needed maintenance on top of the $50 oil change that the salesman promised he would give me for free (which he didn't) if I gave him all good reviews when they contacted me about my service. Definitely never coming back to this dealership when I decide to get my next car read more

Lots of negative review on the new/used sales side, but don't let that scare you regarding maintenance service. My treatment, service and follow through were top shelf. I rarely give five stars. Brought my Odyssey van in for service at 78k miles. The quote was reasonable and fair. The work was done timely and on quote. The communication was excellent. I have zero complaints. Service Advisor Jose Elias should be commended for his customer service...and I work in business aviation customer service for picky biz jet owners. You could use an army just like him. Thanks, Jose. I was kind of surprised to see such a wide variance on the reviews for Showcase. It's been a while since I've been there but back in 2002 I bought a new CRV here. The salesman I dealt with is sadly no longer working there. This guy actually did what he said he was going to do. Every promise he made to me, he kept. I have never had that happen before with a car salesperson - ever. The negotiation was a bit of back and forth but ultimately i just said "look - I know what you guys pay for the car and I'm willing to give you X dollars above invoice". With a little patience, they finally relented and I got what i thought was a fair price for the car. The day I picked up the car was a little less wonderful and it's why they don't get 5 stars from me. I go in to sign the paperwork and some guy is trying - hard - to push an overpriced extended warranty on me. He's looking to soak me for, like, $2000 and even went as far as to say that the manufacturer's warranty didn't really cover anything and that I really "need" this extended warranty. I understand that these things are almost pure profit for the dealers - I get that, I really do - but don't treat me like an idiot. Extended warranties are not a bad thing, just not at that price. It got to the point that I was ready to void the deal and walk out until "the manager" (I cringe when I hear that term and car in the same sentence) walks in. He quickly rectifies the situation and I buy the warranty for $600, not the $2000 that Mr. Jack Off was trying to get from me. Four additional years of coverage for $600. I thought that was fair. I have used their service department a few times but only for warranty repairs and factory recalls. At about year two, the air conditioning system gave out and it was fixed under warranty. Good thing, cause it would have cost me about $1,400 otherwise. Another time, the throttle body was replaced, again under warranty. Some transmission part was replaced because of factory recall at no charge to me. I have to say that the repairs were done properly and on time with no follow up visits required. If I didn't live so far away I might go here for regular service but I've found a local guy that does great work for a lot less so I use him. Having said all of that, I've still got the car and it runs like a dream. Hondas are GREAT cars and this is my third one. Even when I got my Benz I decided to keep the CRV. It's paid for, versatile, cheap to run and built like a tank. So overall I'd say that they treated me right, notwithstanding Mr. Jack Off. I think a lot of the experience depends on the salesperson you get that day. Like any other business, there are good ones and bad ones. If you get a bad one just walk out and go somewhere else. read more

I had my airbags replaced due to recall yesterday at Showcase. I didn't want to go - I'm not a fan of dealerships, but service was wonderful at every turn. My bf & I bought a car from Showcase Honda last May,we traded in our 2012 civic for a 2017 civic because the 2012 was having mechanical issues that weren't under warranty. Plus they just threw us in that car,I think to get it off the lot. But anyways, one of the shocks went out on the 2017 civic so I took it to Showcase and had them check it out and they couldn't find anything wrong with it,they said if it was out of place it would cost about $300 to replace it. So I took the car over to Bell Honda, they found out that the shock was out of place & it's covered under warranty,so I had it replaced at no cost! And will continue to keep going to Bell Honda for my servicing needs. Let's add to this,I called Showcase Honda to ask about oil changes and they said they would call back but never did!!! read more

I took my car in to this dealership to have some recall work done. My friend in Philly had the same work done. One hour in and out plus her car was washed and vacuumed. So I was hoping for the same. I made the appointment and asked how long it would take. The girl said to plan on 4 hours. My husband followed me down to drop it off and I asked Travis, the service person assigned to me, how long and he said an hour and a half. He said he would call when it was ready. FIVE hours later we just went to get it. It was ready. No wash or vacuum. In fact there was trash on the passenger front floor that was not put there by me. Underwhelmed. Disappointed. Now I remember why I don't use dealerships. Two hours after I got home I got a call from them on my home phone. They didn't leave a message. I didn't even give them my home number. Hmmmm. read more

Visited Showcase Honda after looking at the listings on Truecar, First they said they had the CRV I wanted. But I was shocked to know they did not have the vehicle they promised me and the price. I chose a different color and Touring trim. Now they said another sales person took the keys home. The manager assured that they will give me a temporary vehicle, and replace it with the specific vehicle I wanted. Which was later retracted which again shocking me. Since they already did a credit check and all the documentation by then I was forced to choose a Color which was left in the inventory. They gave me 3 year service coupons to compensate for this horrible experience. 2 months later, I have unfortunately lost those service coupons, I've been calling to get a replacement coupons. But again the series of flip flops begin, the rep first told me to call the Manager, I call the Manager he said they will have a record of the service coupons and the rep will provide the coupons. The rep says there is no record of 3 years free service coupons, asked me to contact the someone else when it is time for service. I'm so tired and exhausted, I dread any interaction but unfortunately I cant help but to call them for their committed service. read more

This was a waste of time. Did most of my negotiations over the phone as I live 45 mins from them. Was up front and honest about everything. They gave us a great deal over the phone. As an update on this, I have left multiple messages with the person who looks like they respond to reviews, but never once does anyone answer that phone number, you leave a message and don't get any calls back. First and foremost I have dealt with this dealership off on for 30 years now. I have unfortunately bought two cars from them and three cars from their competitor Right Honda. Unfortunately I've had to use them for service on my Honda products due to the proximity to our home and work. For starters we brought our car in to get a windshield replaced and the sensors re-calibrated and were told we could pick up the car on Saturday by 3. I called them at 3 o'clock and they said the car would not be done until 430 and I mentioned that I could not pick up the car because we had made evening plans and asked if they could leave the car with their sales personnel for Sunday morning at 10 AM since there was no money due and it was under warranty. They said that would be fine and I showed up at 10 AM Sunday morning and nobody knew anything about my car. I could see my car in the parking lot, but I was told I could not pick up my car until Monday because they never release cars on a Sunday and it had to be done through Service, This was absolutely not the arrangement that we had made on Saturday when the car was 2 1/2 hours late on completion. I sat in their dealership waiting for an hour and 20 minutes while they tried to contact the general manager as well as our service advisor Allen and I was told that they had no record of what my request was and that Allen said he never agreed to this request. Lies and no customer service at all!!! Now I can see my car and then they would not allow me to pick up my car even though no money was due and it was under warranty when arrangements were made. It took an hour and 20 minutes for them to make various phone calls with no success in getting my car released and there was no communication between service and sales on me picking up my car, which now I had to pick up early Monday morning so I could get to work. Keep in mind I've now wasted about 3 1/2 hours of my time just picking up my car and it was a simple windshield in over 2 days. Now on to the sales associate CJ and the sales mgr Amair. Since I was waiting for well over an hour for them to try to figure out how to get me my keys to pick up my car that I started looking in the lot and saw a Honda truck that I thought my wife would be interested in. I had no intention of buying a car, but I had time to kill since they were so unorganized in finding my car and releasing it to me. This could've been their plan all along! A sales person named CJ came up to me and said what do you think of this truck and we had a conversation. Since I had nothing else to do while I was waiting I looked at the truck and asked some questions. I said my wife might be interested in this truck so while I'm waiting why don't you pull up some numbers. He and the sales manager put a proposal together for me and I said I would get back to them. I never wasted their time they approached me I had no intention of buying a car. I simply sent their proposal to their competitor Right Honda and said can you do better than this which any smart consumer would do. They beat Showcase Honda's proposal by over $1500 and I even gave Showcase Honda an opportunity to counter Right Honda's better offer. My wife and I even made a third trip to the dealership on the heir request to talk to them in regards to the car and then they proceeded to say we were wasting their time. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in all of my life. I was not looking for a car. I just happen to be looking at one while I was waiting for my car, which was now a day and a half late in getting picked up and then they give me an attitude like that which is exactly why I am going to Right Honda to buy a car because when somebody tells me that I'm wasting their time that is an insult! they are in the car sales business I spend very little time with them in person. In fact there was nobody even looking to buy a car when I was there both times. I gave them a proposal from their competitor and I wanted them to have an opportunity to beat it and they kept wanting me to come to their shop and waste my time when they said I was wasting their's. I would not recommend this dealership for service or sales in any manner. If you Google the best Honda dealerships in the Phoenix metro area they are on the bottom of the list for a reason. I will never let proximity from my home or work to a dealership determine where I go because this dealership is the worst that I have ever dealt with. They have made no attempt to rectify the disastrous service on the original reason I was there in the first place. The work was handled in a completely unprofessional manner and they did not respect the fact that I was giving them an opportunity to give me a better offer than their competitor. The only thing I got from them was insults, a waste of time, and a lot of headache. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all cost. Andy and Katy read more
