I really wanted to have a positive experience with this dealership because everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and professional on the surface. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the promises that were made. Throughout the car-buying process, I was told several things that either turned out to be untrue or that I had to repeatedly follow up on and fight to have honored. After the sale, I found myself being ignored and eventually had to show up at the dealership in person just to get results. That was incredibly frustrating, especially after believing I was working with people I could trust. The final straw was my recent service visit. I was under the impression that my extended warranty covered the damage I brought the vehicle in for, only to find out that wasn't the case. Even worse, when I left the dealership, my side mirror was literally hanging off my vehicle while I was driving on the highway. It was not like that when I dropped my car off. It became a serious safety hazard, and I nearly had an accident because of it. I even have video of the mirror hanging as I drove away. I ended up taking my vehicle to another mechanic, who was able to secure the mirror properly in a matter of moments. It was incredibly disappointing that my vehicle left the dealership in worse condition than when I brought it in. I do want to recognize that my service advisor was excellent. They were communicative and treated me well, and I appreciate their professionalism. My frustration is with the overall experience, the broken promises, and the quality of the work performed. I had originally planned to recommend this dealership to friends and family because I believed everyone was being genuine. Unfortunately, after everything I experienced, I can no longer recommend either the sales department or the service department. We bought a used Grand Highlander here a couple weeks ago. My experience at the actual dealership was incredibly dirty. The women's bathroom was covered in used paper towels, including the changing table so I had to have my husband change my daughter in the men's bathroom. The kid's play area was incredibly filthy and there was a vacuum with a loose cord tucked into a corner of the kid's area. When I asked if I could have somewhere to nurse my daughter I was responded with confusion from the man we bought our car from, and not even consideration to provide us a place to nurse her out of the public space, or the thought to ask a woman that might work there for me. Our salesman otherwise was fine, but not personable at all for someone in sales. When we looked at our Grand Highlander the first time it was covered in stains, crackers and had been sitting there for a couple months. They agreed that they would detail the car. It took them 5 days to fix a broken mirror it had (I'm assuming they had to order the part which is fine) but they still hadn't detailed it when my husband arrived to pick it up. So we had to wait longer, then it still had stains and visible sand, dog hair and crackers. The man we bought it from sent it back, then my husband had to send it back AGAIN to be serviced. We finally just decided to take it home after making them redo the detail multiple times. After my husband got home, we got a call from someone saying they saw we had a "RAV4 serviced there for $600 that day" and we respond no? We had our grand Highlander detailed for free. And we were asked, "Oh! Are you guys in the market for a new one?" This place obviously does not have any organizational skills. My husband left a review and was responded from the woman that typically replies (maybe customer service relations) with her "please contact me!" He reaches out her after she left a number and she never answered after the phone line dies, so he leaves her an email and he was never responded to. We like our Toyota we bought just fine, but this dealer is absolutely disgusting and needs to get their act together. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and normally don't leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. I've been trying to purchase a Tacoma from Camelback Toyota because I've had good experiences with the dealership in the past, including buying my Tundra there. My family has also purchased several other vehicles over the years, including Lexus models from other dealerships, so I'm very familiar with the car-buying process. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing due to the way Mike, one of the managers, handled the situation. Initially, Ryan had quoted me $4,500 for a lift and tire package. Later, when I spoke with Mike, he changed the price to $4,875. When I asked why the price was different, he said it was because this was a different truck. I explained that the truck shouldn't matter because I was simply purchasing the same lift and tire package. I also asked whether I could keep my original tires if I purchased the package. Mike told me no and said the original tires had to stay unless I paid an additional $600. This confused me because when I purchased a lift and tires through the same dealership in the past, I was allowed to keep my original tires at no extra charge. I mentioned that I had already called other shops and found the same setup for about $1,000 less, but we were still considering doing the work at the dealership to help protect the truck's warranty. When I bought my Tundra, I was told that installing a lift outside the dealership could potentially affect warranty coverage, so we were trying to stay loyal to Camelback Toyota despite the higher price. Things became worse after I told the salesperson that I wanted to speak directly with Ryan again to better understand why the pricing and terms had suddenly changed. Shortly after that, Mike sent me what I felt was a very rude and unprofessional text message. In the text, he accused me of not taking "small steps" while claiming he was "going miles" for me. He repeatedly brought up the MSRP price of the truck and implied that I couldn't afford it. To be clear, I understood we were negotiating. The truck was listed around $55,000, and I was trying to get closer to $49,000. Ryan had previously mentioned he could potentially do around $52,200, so we were still working through numbers. Negotiation is normal in car buying, but the way Mike handled it was disrespectful and unnecessary. My wife had already left a review a few weeks ago because she also felt Mike was rude during an earlier interaction. We were actually ready to walk away at that point, but we decided to give the dealership another chance because of our previous positive experiences there and because we wanted to continue doing business with them. Unfortunately, this second experience only made things worse. What's most frustrating is the inconsistency between managers. One manager tells us one thing, while another changes the pricing and conditions completely. On top of that, I've tried asking to speak with the general manager so I can show the text messages, discuss the pricing discrepancies, and explain our concerns directly, but no one has provided me with contact information or helped escalate the issue. At the end of the day, buying a truck is a major purchase for our family. We simply wanted transparency, professionalism, and fair treatment. Instead, we were met with aggressive behavior, conflicting information, and disrespectful comments. Camelback Toyota has a large inventory and plenty of opportunities to earn loyal customers, which is why it's disappointing to see behavior like this from management. This has been some of the worst customer service I've experienced, from buying my car to having it serviced. There were a few decent employees along the way, but overall the experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. More than once, they couldn't find a package I KNOW I paid for. They were aggressive during the sale and continued contacting me about trading in my car and buying another one even after I asked MULTIPLE times for it to stop. I also constantly receive inaccurate emails saying my car is due for service when it isn't. My most recent call was the final straw. The employee was rude enough telling me how he couldn't help me instead being solution focused that I became emotional and asked to speak with a woman because I no longer felt comfortable continuing the conversation with him. Why should I have to request a woman just to feel safe and respected while asking about a package I already paid for? I've found another dealership and won't be returning. Customers deserve to be listened to, spoken to respectfully, and have their boundaries honored. Do better. read more

I have serviced my truck at Camelback Toyota since I bought it, and until this visit the service was fine. This time my vehicle went in for routine service and came back with two problems: the alignment was wrong and had to be redone, and there was a deep gouge in the rear driver-side door that was not there when I dropped it off. The dealership's own intake photos show no damage at drop-off. When I raised it, the fixed operations director denied responsibility. I was first shown a blurred image, and when I asked to see the dealership's actual inspection video, I could see a mark in the exact spot the scratch is. It was dismissed as a reflection. There was no apology until I asked for one, and when I mentioned insurance the conversation turned to protecting the dealership. My advice to anyone using this service department: photograph your vehicle thoroughly, all sides, before you hand over the keys. read more

This is the review I left on google, however no one has reached out to me to apologize for their employees disgusting behavior. They only reply to the "good" reviews, clearly the reviews speak for themselves I would never step foot in this establishment. I looked up this dealership on TikTok because I wanted to see videos of the inventory and showroom, but instead I came across a live stream from an employee at this location that was completely unprofessional and had nothing to do with selling cars. The behavior on the live immediately made me question the type of environment and professionalism at this dealership. I called the dealership to report my concerns, and the person I initially spoke with was understanding. However, shortly after, I received a text message to my personal phone number from the employee involved, accusing me of harassment and telling me not to contact them again. I never contacted her personally, and I have screenshots/videos of the live that explain exactly why I called. What concerns me most is that my personal phone number appears to have been taken from dealership records or the work phone system and used to contact me directly. She even used my name in a way that felt like an attempt to intimidate me, even though I was never hiding who I was or "trolling" anyone. Reporting inappropriate behavior from a business is not harassment, and using customer information to personally confront someone is completely unacceptable and highly inappropriate. At this point, I believe someone from management needs to seriously address this situation and contact me directly. An employee using customer information this way and behaving like this publicly while representing your business is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I truly believe this employee should no longer be representing your dealership. 1-Star Review - Worst Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had I bought a used Lexus LC500h from Camelback Toyota sight unseen, and I truly regret trusting this dealership. Jaden (sales), James (sales manager), and Chris (the person who buys the used cars) were the people I worked with. What I was told versus what I received were two very different things. From the beginning, I asked Jaden to send videos of the car and point out any flaws. He showed a few minor blemishes, but nothing major. I was on the fence about the car and made an offer that they declined. A couple of days later, Chris called to try to make the deal. He strongly assured me that the car was in "great condition," that he personally inspected all used cars, and that this one was "really nice." Based on his word, I proceeded with the purchase and put down almost half as a deposit. Before shipping, I asked Jaden to confirm whether the car had Apple CarPlay (some 2018 models do not). He said he would plug in a cable to check. A couple of days later, he told me it did have CarPlay. I also asked if they could wrap the exterior for protection during transport. They said yes. When the shipping company arrived, the car wasn't wrapped at all. When the car arrived, I was extremely disappointed. It had far more flaws than I was told: * Numerous scratches all over the paint * Exterior window trim literally falling out * Center console that would not open * No CarPlay -- meaning Jaden either never checked or flat-out lied * Rear seat lever broken I'm grateful the finance manager, Jean, recommended the extended warranty because I tried to get these issues repaired. But the warranty company denied the claim, stating these were preexisting conditions -- meaning the dealership already knew about them but did not disclose them, even though I specifically asked multiple times if anything was wrong. I called Chris for almost two weeks with no response. I finally reached out to Jean, who contacted the GM, Brandon, and Brandon said he'd make sure Chris called me back. Chris finally reached out, and I explained the issues. The repair quote I received was almost $2,000. The service manager at the repair center said Camelback Toyota could fix these under goodwill since they were preexisting. Chris refused and simply told me I bought the car "as-is," ignoring the fact that they weren't honest with me from the start. His only solution was offering a $300 gift card, which I accepted because it was the best they were willing to do. For transparency: James (sales manager) and Jean (finance) were the only people who treated me well and did not lie to me. Everyone else made this the worst car-buying experience I've had -- and I've bought many vehicles over the years. I also see why they have so many poor reviews. I know the owner usually replies telling people to contact their client manager, Katrina Coscarelli, but I've left her voicemails and emails with zero response. If you're considering buying a used car from Camelback Toyota, please do your due diligence. Ask for everything in writing. Do not rely on their verbal assurances. DO NOT GO HERE! My wife and I bought a car from this dealership in May. Our sales rep was Stephen and he was the PRIME example of a sleazy car salesman. We needed to take a Waymo to get there in order to pick up the car and he said "oh we'll take care of that for you." So I gave him my receipt, he had that receipt sent up to the accounting department for reimbursement twice but we haven't seen a check in the mail at all. Then he started ghosting my text messages. It's been a month and a half. Now this is after Stephen kept bugging us about writing a "positive" review with 5 starts so that he could get his commission. Because apparently if they get 4 or less, they don't that commission on the sale. If I could go back, I would rate him and the place he works for a 1 star. In fact, -10 stars is more accurate. Although I have had good experiences in the past with the service department, my latest experience was terrible and I will not return. I took my Sequoia in for service last fall because it was making a vibration noise. I was told it was due to my off road tires which was not true (and they found over $2,000 of other things to "fix"). It kept vibrating and eventually cracked my transmission. They could not fix that so I went to a transmission repair shop which installed a refurbished transmission ($5,100) and explained that my transmission cracked because of the vibration which was not due to my tires, but due to a loose rear drive shaft u joint which cost another $650 to fix. When I went back to Camelback and explained the situation and the fact that they missed the loose u-joint, the manager, Damien offered to split the cost of new repairs (replace CV boots/CV axle/Sway bar links) and take off $1,350 (even though their mistake cost me over $5,000). Although I did not think that was fair, I agreed to the service and price. After the service was completed, they only discounted the service $500 and the service manager, Damien, said he did not remember offering me the $1,350 discount. I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and will not return for service at Camelback Toyota nor would I recommend anyone else either. read more

This has been one of the most disappointing car buying experiences I've ever had. I spent around $34,000 on my Toyota and was talked into purchasing an extended warranty for nearly $3,000 because I was repeatedly told it would protect me from expensive repairs, including tire issues and the vehicle's electronics. I trusted what I was being told and believed I was making the smart choice by paying extra for peace of mind. Just three months after buying my car, I got a large nail in the sidewall of one of my tires. Big O Tires confirmed it couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced. They looked up the factory tire for my Toyota SE, and the replacement was going to cost around $600 for a single tire. When I called Camelback Toyota expecting the warranty I paid thousands of dollars for to help, I was told tire coverage wasn't included because it's a separate protection plan. That was the exact opposite of what I believed I had been told during the sale. To make matters worse, none of the salespeople who sold me the car are even there anymore. So when I tried to get answers, there was no accountability and no one willing to stand behind what I remembered being promised. The worst part isn't even the tire it's the feeling that once the paperwork was signed and the sale was complete, I was on my own. I paid thousands of dollars for a warranty that gave me far less protection than I understood I was buying. If you're considering buying a car or an extended warranty from this dealership, slow down and question everything. Get every single promise in writing. If someone tells you something is covered, don't take their word for it make sure it's printed in your contract before you sign. I wish I had. read more

Used to trust this place for oil changes and basic work, but their service has fallen off a cliff. My brothers have had items stolen from their cars, and one time they didn't even tighten the oil plug, it leaked all over our driveway. But the real deal breaker was my girlfriend's paint recall. I convinced her to go through Camelback Toyota at the time. They "fixed" part of it, but the paint kept chipping and we can still see the previous marker on a huge chipped paint that they never bothered to fix. We contacted them for months, and every time they said, "We have your number, we'll call you." They never did. They stalled until the recall expired, then told us we'd have to pay out of pocket. Now her car has rust because they never did the job right. Absolutely unacceptable. We're done with Camelback Toyota not even coming back for an oil change. You completely screwed us over. read more

Do not go here period. Bought certified used car. Sales miss represented much of the warranty and extended warranty options. Luckly we were able to cancel and get some refunds for some of the extended warranty items that was over sold and priced. Now, 6 months after the purchase, the toyota brand battery dies. NO COVERAGE under the 12 month "bumper to bumper" warranty that sales and finance both promised regarding the 12mo/12kmile "we warranty what we sell." Poor service attitudes as well. Extended warranty plan was sold as we can go to any toyota dealer for scheduled maintnance. We tried two different Toyota service locations on a Saturday. Both had to get a pre-authorization, on a week day only, before they could perform the prepaid oil changes. Because the camelback warranty packages are from a non toyota mutual insurance company. Not from toyota. When I brought it up with service rep at camelback toyota the service rep insisted its not true. I called the warranty company directly and was told the pre auth for those other dealers is weekday hours only. Update: I wrote the original post minutes after the service rep and service manager discussions that they would not honor the battery coverage and I was going have to pay for the battery replacement. 45 minutes later, they paged me from the waiting area. My vehicle was ready. At that point, the service rep said they re-evaluated the battery failure and would honor the replacment free of charge. His comment was that he found some other documentation that the previous car owner had the battery replaced in 2024 and they would now replace the battery for free under the previous owner's 84 month battery warranty. Too much drama, and again not honoring the 12 month used car purchase waranty/promises. Plus the very dis-respectful tone of voice from the service manager. Disastrous buying experience - do not recommend. I purchased a used vehicle Sunday night 3/15. I told my salesperson that I felt uncomfortable and unready many times but was told the deal was "practically finalized" even before I set foot in the finance office. I got there at 6:45pm and they had me there until almost 11pm. I drive the car to work the next day and I notice a significant vibration when idling, to the point where it was uncomfortable. Additionally, my check tire light came on (later learned it was due to a not full tire) and suuuuper hot air was coming from underneath the car when I was standing outside of it while running. I inform my salesperson of this Monday evening, and they instructed me to take the car into service the following day. So, I have to take off part of my work day to do this. 8am Tuesday morning I show up to the service bay, and they tell me I need to go park my car in the lot and talk to sales as its under their purview. Not a great start. (I was later apologized to by my salesperson for the oversight) They eventually look at my car and claim there's nothing wrong with it except the tire that needed filling up. I was very disappointed that my concern wasn't taken seriously. After two hours I go home, defeated, and do some researching. Turns out that Honda released a service bulletin for 2015 CRV's relating to vibration issues (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2016/MC-10204266-9999.pdf) I go back in later to bring this to their attention, and also ask what my options are for getting a different car. They first tell me I'm eligible for an exchange, then 20 min later they say that's no longer possible because the deal was finalized and I would have to sell the car back to them. Incredibly disheartening. I will say that the manager who spoke with me was very kind and committed to getting answers for me, which I appreciated. Their offer to me was to come back in for service on Friday (even though I said I could take it in earlier like Weds or Thurs) and they will have a different technician take a look at it. I've spent a total of 6 hours at this dealership so far this week all because I purchased a vehicle, which should have been an exciting experience. I'm writing this review to bring serious attention to my experience and I hope that my concerns will be addressed at the upcoming service appointment. read more

Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unworthy of your money. I would not recommend this Toyota dealership to anymore. We have used the Costco Auto program before with other dealerships and had such a great experience. Unfortunately, this one was terrible. We met with their Costco rep and he said he found us the car we were looking for. It was being shipped to another dealership but could be re-routed to them. We showed up for our scheduled appointment with him to sign the paperwork and he wasn't there. So we met with someone else. We wrote a check for $1000 dollars, signed all of the paperwork and were told the car with be in about 2 weeks from that date. We called and they would tell us said it was coming. Then a manager finally told us that it was never rerouted to them. A salesperson told him that she had called us and we said we no longer wanted the car- which was an absolute lie. We never heard from her. Later we found out that they were throwing in all of these EXTRA FEES that were NOT supposed to be in there when you went through Costco. That was the final straw for us. I wanted to share my recent experience with the service department at Camelback Toyota in hopes it might be helpful. In March 2026, I brought my car in for an oil service, multiple point inspection and tire rotation. When I picked it up, the hubcap was loose, but the service advisor, Ryan, quickly fixed it. However, after driving, the car felt rough, and both the check engine and traction lights came on. I returned to the service center, and Ryan discovered the technician had left the air hose off the air filter box. Ryan fixed it himself and reset the check engine light. Later, I inspected the car again and found the airbox clip was broken. When I called Ryan, he promised to address it. A month passed, and after contacting Toyota, I learned Ryan was no longer with the service team. I spoke to a manager named Damion, provided photos, but after months of waiting, he informed me they would not fix the airbox due to no proof the technician caused the damage. From my perspective, it's clear the tech was responsible. Unfortunately, Damion was unhelpful during this process. I felt it was important to warn others about the poor service I received at this facility. read more

I made an appointment and brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance and to diagnose and repair a leak. My expectation was simple: identify the source of the leak and fix it while the vehicle was in their possession. I was fully prepared to leave the vehicle with them for as long as necessary to properly address the issue. Within an hour, the maintenance was completed, but I was told to come back another day and see if the leak persisted. I explained that the entire reason I brought the vehicle in was to have the leak diagnosed and repaired. I had no expectation of getting the vehicle back so quickly. Despite that, they remained insistent that I drive another thousand miles with the leak so they could better determine its origin. While that explanation might sound reasonable on the surface, I had already taken the vehicle to two independent mechanics near my home, both of whom identified where the leak was originating. That left me wondering why Toyota's technicians seemed so uncertain. Is it a lack of experience, or simply a lack of interest in addressing the problem? The overall impression I was left with was that they had more important vehicles to service and simply didn't have time for mine. Rather than resolving the issue I came in for, they seemed focused on getting me back out the door as quickly as possible. It also appeared that the service advisors and leadership were operating according to their own agenda rather than the customer's needs. You bring your vehicle in to have a specific problem fixed, yet the service department decides what they want to work on instead of addressing the issue that brought you there in the first place. The communication was equally frustrating. Because there is no single point of contact, every time I called for an update, I spoke with a different service advisor. There seemed to be little to no communication between them, resulting in inconsistent and often conflicting information about the status of my vehicle. To make matters worse, nobody recognized, mentioned, or addressed the flat tire my vehicle had when I picked it up. I drove off the lot and made it only to the first stoplight before realizing the tire was completely flat. When I politely asked to speak with a service manager, the response felt scripted, as though they were simply following a playbook. The overwhelming impression was that they genuinely did not care. I found myself practically begging them to work on my vehicle, while they seemed far more interested in sending me away than helping me. Finally, I explained that how they handled this situation would determine whether I ever returned to Camelback Toyota. Once again, I asked them to please work on my vehicle while it was under their care. The Service Manager's response was that it was "my choice" whether I returned or not. That statement said everything. They didn't just lose this customer. They lost every future customer I can influence by sharing this experience. read more

My experience at Camelback Toyota started off a little rocky, but Katrina stepped in and really helped turn things around. She took the time to listen, get things sorted out, and made sure everything ultimately worked out the way it should have. I also want to give a big shoutout to my sales guy Edin. He is a really genuine guy and was great to work with throughout the process. You can tell he truly cares about taking care of his customers and doing things the right way. Following up again because I am still continuing to get harassing phone calls from this place non stop. They call all hours of the day. What a horrible business. I have asked several times and blocked at least 9 different phone numbers these employees have called me from and the phone calls do not stop. Do not inquire, do not even think of calling this place. Their process is sketchy as hell. We wanted a brand new car and we decided not to go with this dealership because of how sketchy the deal sounded. After telling them to lose my number I still receive calls and text from this dealership. Right now I am at 11 sales people that have contacted me about the car we wanted to purchase at the time. I told everyone to take me off the list. I will continue to answer all calls and if I could update this later I will tell you exactly how many calls and text I received total. I do not recommend using this dealership for car servicing. They try to upscale you fir everything during your sales appointment. They used to wash your car with your service. They also started to charge you a 3% service fee if you do not pay by debit card. This adds up. I own a business and credit card processing fees are the cost of doing business. Plus, the company can write off those fees when they file taxes. Being pushed to be uphold and then the service fee does not make you feel like a valued customer. The service advisors are nice but even they comment that the service fee is ridiculous. You are not told about the service fee until you go to pay. read more
