I was searching for a new (used car) and came across a nice Mercedes at this dealership. Because I paid cash for my last two cars and don't believe in using credit cards, I was seen as a high risk borrower. I was presented with an insanely high interest rate of 21.5%. When I talked to their in house lending team, I told them I would start by getting one or two credit cards to make small purchases to build my credit before purchasing a vehicle with a loan. They stated "Oh that's an easy fix. Accept our terms and pay on time for 6 months and it will be easy to refinance at that time". Well, I tried and tried to get the car refinanced, only to be denied over and over again. Apparently it sends out red flags for anyone that would accept an insanely high interest rate of 21.5% to begin with. Three years later, I have paid more than $21,000 for this 12 year old car and still owe over 19k for a car that is now worth about 14k. At the current loan rate, I'd be paying another 30k over another 4 years of payments. It's a trap that cannot seem to be remedied. Even ChatGPT suggests I'd be better off defaulting than continuing to pay over 50k total for a car that is depreciating daily. So guess what Earnhardt, I'm going to do my best to let people know how your in house lending team lied to me and how you did your best to make me miserable. I've removed your cheap license plate frame with your advertising from the car and have thrown the frame in the dumpster. I'm now waiting for the lender to come and repossess the almost worthless car. Thanks for nothing. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You're no better than the shady used car lots strewn across the Valley. Thank goodness I kept my old car that I paid cash for and it honestly runs better than that Mercedes. read more

Is super unhelpful and her line is always disconnected goes to VM tried calling for hours just to be redirected to the department i needed to reach. Wow. What a great experience. Today was my daughters first car buying experience, boy did they set the bar high. I have bought a lot of cars in my day and let me tell you, this was by far the easiest transaction I have ever done. From the time I got there to the time my daughter drove off the lot was about 2 hours. And that included going to the bank to get a check. Ken was our salesman, he was fantastic. No greasy sales tactics, no stupid pointless add-ons. He was transparent in every way. We met with Doug the general manager, he was very kind and he gave my daughter some fantastic pointers. Extremely Disappointed - Lack of Transparency and Integrity I had a confirmed appointment with Earnhardt Lexus to view and purchase a Jeep, scheduled in advance and revised the morning of my visit. I was traveling from Tucson--over two hours away--and had already secured financing with the intention of completing the purchase that day. While en route, I was informed via email that the vehicle was being sold to someone else who had arrived earlier. At no point was I told that the vehicle might not be available or that there were competing appointments. Had I been given that information up front, I could have avoided wasting over five hours of my time and a tank of gas. This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. Appointments should be honored, especially when they involve serious buyers who have taken steps to finance and travel long distances. I would never treat my own clients this way. I strongly urge future buyers to confirm all details in writing and proceed with caution when dealing with this dealership. read more

My wife and I have had nothing but great experiences at this dealership and with Lexus in general. Our original service rep, Tom Miller was fantastic and our new one, Mike Herrera, who replaced him after Tom retired is as well. As my wife and I split our time between LA and Phoenix at the moment we drive a lot. Our NX had a check engine light today and Mike was able to squeeze us in, diagnose the problem, and get our car repaired under warranty before the end of the day so we could safely drive home the next. You can tell he actually cares vs is someone just doing a job for a check. Speaking of Lexus quality and reliability, I can't say enough nice things. Our extended warranty has more than paid for itself and unlike many aftermarket ones actually covers pretty much everything not a hose, belt, trim piece, etc. Don't expect that from Mercedes or BMW. I know from experience. The warranty will be ending soon and we plan on buying a new Lexus as my wife loves the new RX Hybrids. Point is, there will always be a Lexus in our driveway and when we are in Phoenix, will service it at Earnhardt with Mike. BTW they do a much better job on brakes, oil, etc. than places like Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, etc. Definitely worth the cost premium to bring the car here. read more

I sedomly enjoy going to a car dealership but not at Earnhardt. I did not buy my Lexus here but I do get it serviced here and I have only had a positive experience. I ran over a latex permanent paint can and they were able to get everything out for the cost of a detail. They didn't try to upsell me on more than that. I then got a scratch on my car but also needed a oil change. I went and got an oil change and my cabin air filters replaced and they touched up my scratch for free (i asked them just to make it less noticeable and that's what they did, nothing perfect but good enough for me). They told me I needed new tires but were so understanding when I said their tires were out of my price range and never argued further. They also always have loaners available complimentary which is fantastic. I will absolutely be buying my next Lexus here and won't hesitate to get service work done here either. I bought an RX here in 2020. Every aspect of service and warranty has been great. Also, the RX has been excellent. I did not know how much I would appreciate the front seats until I came down with severe pain due to a spinal disc problem. I must recline while my wife takes me to doctor and therapy visits. The back of the seat reclines great, fits my back great and has excellent lumbar support. Better than any recliner I have. read more

This place is located on the North side of Camelback between 7th St and 8th St. We went there to check out a used Lexus. We got Angel who said he was a senior salesperson who worked there for more than 20 years. With 20 years of experience, you need to be able to read the room. Within 5 minutes I knew this was not going to work out. He was very condescending from the outset. We asked about some of the ventilation ducts and his response was "they are in all cars, the only reason why you notice it today is because you are looking at a new car." We have an older Lexus of the same model and it actually did not have this duct. We asked about the AC conditioning and his response was "its a 110 degrees outside why do you think its not cold?" We actually have test drove many cars including one with a dying battery and the AC worked just fine in 110-118 degree weather. Needless to say the discussion of price of the car went worse. No deal here but we did get a better deal on newer car at another dealership. read more

The internet team was super helpful (Erica) but when you arrive nothing is as it seems. Yes they have free ice cream in the lobby but none of the prices online match.. not only that they don't list any of the dealer markups on their price sheets until they build the deal.. for instance.. the car I wanted hadn't even arrived yet but they already added all these dealer items to the bill that haven't even been installed yet. It was obvious the employee had no interest in helping me claiming there were no cars within my price range even though online it showed multiple options. He told me I won't find that in "luxury vehicles" Also, my wife made a review and it's not showing up so it appears they deleted it. Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with a dealership. We worked with Robert initially looking at a used Lexus but found a Camry that was better fit into our price range. I recently had my car serviced and received prompt, professional service. Where my issue lies is two-fold: the overall condition of the lobby and waiting area and the "cafe." Firstly, the waiting area appeared run down and kind of dirty. Fingerprints all over cars on display, worn out and tacky old timey furniture in sitting area, wood doors dinged and bathrooms not clean or orderly enough. The cafe is a big issue. Firstly, the woman who operates it looks bored and annoyed to be asked questions or to prepare food. The burrito I ordered was swimming in water and terrible. The countertops and coffee dispensers also needed attention. Another problem is when she is cooking on the grill the entire place smells like a diner and not in a good way. There's not adequate ventilation. I've have luxury cars for decades and this dealership presents itself in a very unflattering way not worthy of a luxury car dealership. read more

The dealership service department is just a bunch of scammers with the exception of 1 or 2 service advisors 1 of which no longer works at lexus. They removed my K&N engine and cabin filters which had stickers on the outside of all of the filter covers saying "DO NOT REMOVE FILTERS" and switched them out for their marked up junk filter's unbeknownst to me during my last major service. I didn't realize the brand new K&N filters I had installed a week before taking it in for service were switched out until I went to service/clean the filters a couple of weeks ago. The dealership did replace the K&N filters after informing them of the situation but did not refund me the $350+ for their junk filters they charged me for during my last major service. After picking up my car with the new K&N filters I drove it home, parked it and didn't drive it for a week due to medical issues I'm dealing with currently. When I got in the car to drive it this past Sunday, the AC was dead. No air blowing at all no matter what I tried. I took it into the dealership and informed them of the situation and they said it would be almost $1k to replace the AC blower motor which magically stopped working right after they replaced the in cabin filter and I refused to pay for the new ac blower fan and they instead charged me $220 for a diagnostic fee for something they broke! Ive been going to Earnhardt lexus to service my vehicles for over a decade and they have done this type of stuff before! Bad business! Do not go to Earnhardt Lexus to service your vehicles. They will rip you off! I could go on about the dozen+ other times where they screwed me over but it would take hours to write out everything they have done over the years. One major thing not to do is to buy tires from them! They sell defective tires at twice the price of anywhere else and don't honor their warranty or even the manufacture warranty even if the tires wear out after 15k miles when they are supposed to last 60k miles based on the manufacture warranty! They also charge $100+ to rotate the tires every 5k miles and if you don't do the rotation through them they will void the warranty on the tires. They don't honor their warranty even when you rotate the tires with them they just take your money every 5k miles and you are left with tires that need to be replaced every year! 67 year old driver here... not a kid hot ridding the car or anything of the sort. Do not service your vehicles at this dealership! Now I have a broken AC blower fan that they broke irrefutably and charged me $220 for a diagnosis of something I knew already when I took the car back to them to have them fix what they broke but won't own up to. Shameful business practices! BEWARE! read more

But anyhow, Things definitely went from 100-0. I was later contacted by the general sales manager, who was determined to make this deal happen. He apologized for the hectic back and forth, agreed to my trade in pricing, and also agreed to waive the add-ons AND up-charge on Msrp. I was shocked. Very dope and unexpected. The experience in the F&I room was also VERY expeditious. Finance Director Cleva didnt pressure me for any warranties for an hour, like most would. This purchase experience was definitely salvaged and i ended up walking away with my dream car. read more
