This is a good shop. Miguel is a super cool and chill dude. I've taken my truck here plenty of times from small to big issues. I started with them rebuilding my motor and just kept going from there. I did stop going here because of distance and I think if I was closer I would continue to take it to them for small jobs. To be fully transparent, I'm very specific about a lot of things when it comes to my vehicles so there were things that I noticed that weren't right, a couple things still exist to this day that were caused by the shop. However, every time I told Miguel about these issues he immediately did his best to help fix them. And they did fix most of the issues I had. This is not a bad shop at all. However, at his earliest convenience the issue was fixed and my vehicle was returned to me with the things fixed that we agreed upon, including a generous discount due to the communication/scheduling issue. Small local family run biz. I have been going here for over a year. They are fast, friendly, and open to figuring things out. I came in with a weird ac / console issue and afyer they voiding into ally figure it out i showed them some quick Google insight and it was fixed no problem. He even said "i learn something nee everyday". I appreciated this because even thi uh I'm female he took me serious enough to search it up for himself and see. I had a pleasant experience with Sammy's Auto Service. I took my 2024 Accord to the Honda Dealership to get a routine oil change and a recall fixed. I also asked them to look at why my car seems to be scraping in the front more. The Honda dealership found the (very thin) metal cover under neath my car was missing two bolts, causing it to bend and scrape with bumps. The wanted to charge me $365+tax to REPLACE the very thin/flimsy metal piece and refused to simply bend it, replace the bolts to affix it back to the underneath and fix the issue. Upon requesting quotes with other auto shops, Sammy's respond with my same question with why we couldn't just replace the bolts. I brought it in, they added two tiny bolts, brought me back to show me what they did, and fixed the issue. I was out the door in 10 min for only $40. He also explained that this piece has to be taken off to do oil changes and the last time the changed my oil, the probably failed to replace the bolts, therefore causing the issue, which is very different from the Honda service member being adamant that this was caused by continuously going over potholes (not many in Phoenix!) and that's why it's not covered under my warranty. Though I didn't end up going to Sammy's for the project, I originally connected with them on... I ended up taking another vehicle of mine in for a diagnostic and a nose to tail lookover to see if my vehicle was safe to drive after being stored for a couple of years. Miguel was incredibly responsive and polite and professional and friendly, and had great patience with me since we were communicating via yelp messages. Very personable and explained everything, and as some shops tend to somewhat blow off when a woman comes in talking about their car, Miguel listen to me and talk to me, and I feel like he respected that I do have a little bit of knowledge about cars, so it was easy to talk shop with him. His quotes on the services that I will be coming in for were great and this was a no pressure no up selling type of business. Definitely looking forward to having him and his crew do some more work for us in the future. Very flexible with scheduling superduper responsive to questions. I initially put my service request via yelp & I confirmed a day and time very fast, which was super convenient. I came in to my appt for an alignment and tire rotation & I was out within an hour. Before I left, I made another appointment for a tune up and they offered to get me in first thing the next morning and I did. I dropped off my car right when it opened and was offered to get dropped off and picked up since I only live 2mi away (saved my self some cash if I had gotten a Lyft) Their prices are reasonable and affordable. Both the son and the owner were friendly and they explained everything so well. I know this place stands by their values, because of how well they present their business and experience.
