However, every time I told Miguel about these issues he immediately did his best to help fix them. And they did fix most of the issues I had. This is not a bad shop at all. Tom, and the entire staff served with a smile. Overall, I would highly recommend this Christian Brother Automotive to anyone. We'll stick with them!

I've had the same mechanic for about 30 years (a family owned & operated shop in WA), and the thought of going somewhere else petrified me. I really needed an oil change and tire rotation and chose Grease Monkey on Bell based on Google & Yelp reviews. I was greeted right away, explained what my needs were, and Thad did his best to reassure me that I would be well taken care of, they would show me all parts before replacing, and would not try to upsell me. He also said they have bays in back with mechanics to do other work when I need it. I did need a few other things (rear brake light, wiper blades, cabin filter) and each time someone came in to get my approval. I had no idea my wiper blades would shred in the heat! If it's raining, I'm more likely to be standing outside letting it hit me in the face than going for a drive. They were very patient in getting me every discount they could. Coupon codes from the website AND a senior discount! In and out in less than an hour, including wait time to get my car in the bay. The website did mention a carwash, which they don't have at this location, but that was not a deal breaker at all. I highly recommend this location and will definitely go back when I need anything else done.

Do not trust this shop with your safety or your business. After servicing my vehicle, they allowed…read moreme to drive off the lot with a loose rack and pinion, a severe steering defect that should have never passed a basic check. When I brought it back to address the hazard, Dan refused to take accountability. He flat-out lied that nothing was loose and spoke down to me with blatant, condescending sexism, assuming I knew nothing about cars. I hold a degree in automotive engineering; the only reason my vehicle was in their garage was a temporary lack of tools, not a lack of technical knowledge. Miraculously, after the "inspection" where they insisted nothing was wrong, the car suddenly drives completely fine. They fixed their dangerous mistake behind my back while actively trying to make me look stupid to cover up their own negligence. Dismissing a critical safety issue and treating customers with patronizing disrespect is entirely unacceptable. Unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent.

I assume that I'm being told the truth, however we took the car to get two second opinions on the tires, and both agreed I did not need 4, and only needed 2. I also went out of my way to find the most cost effective option for a serpentine belt--I took it to a mechanic, and as he was looking at the old belt, he showed me that there was, in fact, nothing wrong with the original belt. It didn't have any fading or cracks, and he showed me the old and new one side by side. Since I already had purchased the part, I said just go ahead and put it on, so Express Oil Change and Tire company cost me an unnecessary $100 service charge, and then a $45 part. Not to mention you're taking time out of my day, telling me that I need to go fix these things. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of and will not be returning, nor recommending this place to anyone I know.
