Went here yesterday to see if my tire was able to be repaired. I had a screw that had went into my tire at a sharp angle and had exited out too. So two punctures. I'll post a picture for you to see what I described pretty poorly.
Anyways, I pull in, park, and exit my vehicle. I stand behind it smoking a cigarette and await one of the two people working there to acknowledge me. One of them is balls deep into his smartphone. Probably wouldn't break from it if a meteor crashed behind him. The other was a younger guy further in the back. So after smoking my cigarette and standing there with my hands on my hips looking at them wondering if they even knew I existed, I make my way towards what might be an office. As I go to it, the young guy shakes his head. I ask, "Do I go to him?" and point at the other guy. He says no, so I walk to him.
I explain my situation, and he says that IF they can do it then it'd be an hour. They had another vehicle they were "working on". And by that, I mean that a truck is lifted up with no one doing jack shit to it. So I ask him if he can take a look at it, and if it's repairable I'd be back in an hour. He tells me to pull it in - because his lazy, half my age ass can't walk to my fucking car.
After I back it in, he says nope. Can't do anything about it.
I drove to the shop on 83rd and Glendale where the guy unscrewed the screw out of my tire only to find that it wasn't punctured at all and was at the correct pressure and not losing any air. FREE of charge. I tipped him and was on my way.
You would THINK that if you had a business that you might be at LEAST halfway enthusiastic about customers - even if it's just to get their money. But for them to completely ignore me? FUCK OFF. I'll take my money elsewhere, BEEYOTCH.
I suggest YOU DO TOO. read more
