This auto shop has been an immense blessing! Our family mechanic of almost 20 years retired a few…read moreyears ago and we struggled to find true and honest mechanics. As a female, I know how I have been scammed by mechanics. So I found true value in Christian Brothers Automotive-Peoria, Lake Pleasant Pkwy! I found this establishment via word of mouth from all the way in Michigan. Their reputation precedes itself. They are honest, knowledgeable, fair and they provide quality service. Tom, and the entire staff served with a smile. Overall, I would highly recommend this Christian Brother Automotive to anyone. We'll stick with them!

Update: Their Front Desk Guy Hooked me on a $200 dollar UPsell on my Vintage PU Truck that I had…read morebrought in for 1(one) minor issue involving the PRNDL linkage. Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

Pleased historical customer, visited your Glendale, AZ location, for the first time, today. Must…read moresay, your biz model works for me. Thoroughness, Honesty, Informational and Accommodating. Experienced customers know car repairs cost, no problem, that's on customer. But employee, Emanuel, made process alot less stressful, with his personable personality. That, plus the comfortable waiting area you guys provide, is key reason why I will continue to refer. Suggestion? My backup repair place, has a popcorn machine, next to the beverages, hint, hint, lol! If you ever expand, into motorcycle repair, I would be your first customer!

So i went into Kerry's because my car was stopping mid flight, i was told by the manager Jason that…read moremy car was stopping mid flight due to oil leaking on my alternator and my battery was no good so all the repairs total he was charging me 1,900 dollars i told him i had warranty on the battery so he charges me 1700 instead ,me not being a mechanic i took there honest quote, i paid the amount and have my mom pick up my car bc i was at work, i get in my car and it still feels off to me i take it for a short 2 mile drive and it shuts off on me mid flight again, i return my vehicle back jason says ill be first priority for my car issues i give them a week no call, no text ,(nothing) i figured, there figuring out what the exact issue and cause is as soon as i call he says you are having a misfire and your spark plugs and coils need to be change all that with labor its going to be 2300 dollars , i wait till friday bc its my only day off, i walk in greet them stay cordial polite i say "something doesnt feel right ,why is it you guys didn't catch this issue before hand " he says "the code wasn't popping up beforehand because your alternator wasn't giving your battery the juice to give the codes" i say "well if i paid you guys for everything to be new how is it when you took it on a test drive after the mechanics couldn't firgure out something still feels off' i felt it right away when i started my car back up and so he says" we checked it again once we added all that and no codes for your spark plugs or coils came up until you brought it back the next day" yet they took a week to tell me ,thats what the issue was," only because i called THEM", so im saying "my car was misdiagnosed " he tells me "no bc we didnt do anything wrong and that was something that needed to be fixed in order to find this solution coming up now" so i tell him "so i was misquoted bc i was told this will get my car going and it didn't so how are we going to move forward with this bc right now i am not a satisfied customer" now he is telling me the price total is 2553 dollars when he intially said it was 2300 over the phone but the only help they can do is go half on parts with me which is still going to cost me 1900 dollars , so i tell him" if i knew my car was going to cost this much i would have never paid to start the first service and just traded it in and get the lil money they would have gave me for it as a down payment on another car" but now he is saying that changing the spark plugs and coils wouldn't exactly fix the issue bc of my coolant thermostat and now he is just throwing all these things that could go wrong and why all these steps are necessary and i get it i have an old car but why was none of these issues communicated before so i tell him" my coolant and all those issues where in my last invoice so why did you not communicate that before with me "he says "well your spark plugs and coils just popped up "and i said so is that going to fix my issue and he says" idk bc your coolant" and now we are just going in circles and getting nowhere but i tell him" i feel i was mis diagnosed misquoted all the above bc there was no communication on your end with the customer" the payer "who keeps your business thriving" so i feel like im taking a major L bc point of the story is he said the first service would fix my issue and it didn't now he saying he doesn't know whats wrong with it and if any of that will fix my issue so it feels like it was wasted money and i literally got nowhere with my car not even 5 miles which is funny that they test drove it for 10 miles lol im keeping my sense of humor just like i laught when he said he had mutiple mechanics and a team checking my car yet none if them caught the issue my car wasnt running well afterwards lol , so i reached out to my credit card company to ask for my money back bc i feel like the work and service did not satisfy me and im out 1700 dollars ,if they have any motto about treating customers fairly then i would hope they give me my money back since i was not told the initial total cost it will be to fix my car ,and they are standing by that they needed to fix those parts in order to find the next issue i can go on and on, but my credit card company is going to reach out for my money and if it that doesn't work im also filing a bbb complaint and a small claims report bc nones of this is sitting right with my not to mention my friend and uncle own there own shops in california and they said 2500 for spark plugs and coil is a ridiculous amount they are scamming and being untrustworthy, im not a mechanic so idk the ball game but i will leave you all who go there with this advice be aware of what they are fixing and and if it will fix your issue bc i was told it would and it didnt and now im left 1700 dollar
