Took my vehicle to this location for a oil change and tire rotation and after my car was done with the service..I drove away and noticed on dashboard it showed oil 100% and I figured after driving a bit it would go back to the normal way of showing dashboard and right before I arrived at home instead of it going back to the its normal dashboard display another thing comes up saying tire pressure (!) So then I thought to myself why would that now come up so I know it means that its either tires are low of air or it could mean a sensor so I decided to continue taking it for a drive and see what happens well I went to a tire shop to have them check the air and was told thst all tires had correct amt of air in them and was told that to drive it a couple miles and that tire pressure light should come off ..so I did and the light never did disappear so the next morning again I drove it a few miles to see if it goes off and didn't so I cslled midas back ..and spoke to Miguel and he told me to bring it back and he would check it ..so I did and he then said he checked air and tried to reset it and it dash light still didn't go away and then says to me that it could be sensor and it was already like that when I brought it in ...I then told him there's no way that was on when I brought it in.. Then I said i know it it was never on when I brought it in and he says yes it was I sent you the diagnosed results and that's why I'm showing the picture of the inspection they done and there it shows that there's no problems with dashboard lights it came back with a green check mark ..so I then left and decided to call back to tell him he was wrong about that but the technician brad that serviced my vehicle answered phone and I spoke to him about it and I mentioned it to him and he said no that I was wrong and that tire pressure light was already on when I know that I never ever had that displayed on my dash iand said it was maybe a sensor then I told him well maybe when you rotated tires maybe you touched the sensor then because I know my vehicle and inspection you fine shows green check mark then he tells me maybe its my battery ..I couldn't believe the things he was telling me and I did tell him here I brought my vehicle paid to get it service and leave with another issue that I didn't have before bringing it to midas when I could have taken it back to dealership being I still have a few free oil changes but no instead I bring it to midas and now have to deal with this and then he started to get rude with me and told me well go take it to dealership then ..I didn't think I would get that kind of attitude that really showed me that he has no customer service skills whatsoever very rude wrong person to have as a employee ..so I left and ended up going to a different location and thst gentleman was very polite and definetly knew wat he was talking about and also he completed the job that technician Bradley had no knowledge of doing after telling me it was sensor and then maybe my battery seriously if he knew his job bring a mechanic he would have known that 2018 Honda CR-V don't have sensors so he needs to ho back to school on being a mechanic and training on how to treat customers very very rude ..and therefore I would never go back to that location ..and Miguel also was wrong to say that I brought my vehicle with dashlight already being like that when the inspection they done it passed so he was definetly wrong and him knowing I called to speak to him leaving a message with bradley so called technician to call me back he never done so.so they don't know how to make customer happy going against me when there test proved themselves wrong ...customer service training needed seriously .. read more

Do not go to this location and company. I came here for an oil change and tire rotation and they recommended a tire alignment which costed me well over $200. Not even two months later (mind you the car was not in use for two weeks while I was gone on vacation) the tire pressure in one of my front two tires was softening. I took it to several tire shop and they said the treading was gone. I was advised my front tires were much more worn than my back tires which shouldn't be the case if my tires were actually rotated just a few months prior!!! So now I have to get all new tires because I have an AWD and I could have avoided the situation if I went to a place that was honest and performed the services I paid for. Completely ridiculous. We used to take our cars there for services, breaks, etc. until they "fixed" one of my cars, charged us more than $400 for the car to stop working again the next day I got it "fixed". Not a place I would recommend to anyone since Andy has left. I used to trust this place until my power steering went and got an estimate. The estimate was almost 4K and then took to a dealer where it was more than 1k less. I used to go here where the general manager would give you a good deal and be honest. Won't go here again because I could easily tell they try to take advantage which was confirmed when a dealership was over $1,000 cheaper. Stay away from here. Received a gift voucher for a brake change at Midas, no brake light on or anything but figured it had been time to get new brakes especially since it'd be free. Nope -- GroupOn value was $160, they only applied $60 of it towards brake change. Charged me $100+ to resurface my rotors. Now, I lose MPG and my brake pad light is on which was never on until I left Midas with new brakes and they said it was the brake ware sensor, so why exactly is that not included in the brake change? A $5 autozone part they were quoting me at $103 to change the brake pad wear sensor that THEY broke. Completely unreliable and unstructured, manager is somewhat friendly but has no sense of urgency. Front desk guy is a joke. Just stay away from here and go elsewhere if you wanna avoid a dishonest and hack job mechanic. 1/10 since I couldn't give it 0. UPDATE 3 WEEKS LATER After issues with my power steering, it became evident it needed to be taken to the VW dealership where I paid a $152 diagnostic fee to which it returned that I needed my head gas keys replaced and the power steering rack. Accosting to over $6,500 in repairs/labor. That wasn't an option obviously as the KBB of 2010 Tiguan is roughly 4-5k tops and with it approaching 100,000 miles, decided to buy a brand new car. 2020 and fully loaded. Will NEVER take it to another Midas again, they fucked my Tiguan up so bad I had to get a NEW CAR. read more

Had a check engine light on went to Midas he said it was a couple of oxygen sensors. He said that the sensors would be 438 dollars but he would give me a good deal on the labor only 80 dollars. I thought it was pricey so i went to auto zone and they said it was actually only one sensor duplicating and that sensor was 99 dollars. Wow saying I needed two sensors when he knew it was only one . Took my daughter's car here for brake noise and vibration. The manager, Miguel, double checked what his excellent mechanics were finding. He was kind enough to explain to my daughter by phone the details of what was found and how it needed to be repaired, what he could adjust or fix there, what was covered by warranty and what needed replacement. He had to call for parts to do the repair and kept me informed frequently on the status of the vehicle. As I was waiting for the work to be done, Miguel was sensitive to the fact that I was there over lunchtime and even offered me a slice of the pizza that his crew had for lunch! Took it in for a normal oil change and tire rotation and they immediately try to upsell the high mileage oil, and special services due to how many miles my car has. No, just the regular oil change, thanks. They are taking a long time with my oil change and the guy at the front goes back and tells me the threads on the oil pan drain plug are stripped and I have 2 options- new pan or they can use their "new threading device" for an additional charge of $20. I asked how it became stripped, since they were the only ones screwing and unscrewing my drain plug for over a year, and I was told "it's something that just wears out. Your car has a lot of miles." When asked about classic cars that have their original drain plugs, or my husband's truck that has 500,000 miles and still the original drain plug- he didn't have an answer. I told him the guys in the shop must have stripped it and they are trying to have me pay for a mistake they made. He stood by that I was either going to buy a new pan or for them to thread the old one or my car wasn't leaving. I paid the $20 and have never been back. I was going to use them in the future for a general tune up and brake job, but after that last experience I will never be back. I don't want them to break anything else on my car and make me pay for it. read more

I never had a place I took my car before, it was either my family or Wal-Mart. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon this Midas simply because it was the closest shop. After such an amazing experience, I kept returning. The manager Miguel is freaking amazing. He is very friendly and literally never sounds or looks stressed. The flow of that shop is always quick whenever I'm there. Even with a walk in on a Saturday, I am in and out surprisingly fast and always walk away with my car running amazing. Excellent experience! We've used Midas at home and haven't had the need since moving to Arizona until recently. We visited this location several months ago and had our rear brakes pads changed. We returned today because we suspected our front brake pads also needed replacing. I spoke with Carlos on the phone who explained the process and invited me to bring down my vehicle to be looked at. Carlos followed up with a phone call like he said he would and explained that the brakes were still good and provided me with a quote for the future repair. Called early this morning at 8am to schedule an appointment for an oil change. The man who answered the phone explained to me that they don't take same day appointments but I could come in at 3pm because they were pretty slow. I got there at 3 and he told me that it would be 3 hours to get my oil change if I wanted to come back and pick my car up. I was totally fine with that. While he started putting me in the system I was texting my husband to come pick me up so I didn't have to sit in the hot waiting room while being 8.5 months pregnant. The man asked me what I was doing on my phone or something close to what are you about to show me on your phone. It was a little rude and off putting. I said nothing but I do have a Groupon if you need to see it. Then he said no we don't accept those if you're a walk in you have to make an appointment. Hahaha what? I said I spoke to you this morning and you said I could make one. Then he said you can make one now for the future if you want to use it because we only accept a certain amount of Groupons per a day. I said no that's okay. I'd rather take my business somewhere else before coming here again. I hate companies that like to get you in the door with these Yelp and Groupons but feel hurt and become rude when you try to use them. I hardly doubt they reached their limit on a Tuesday but who knows. They like to make up their own rules as they go along. read more

These people are complete idiots. I got an oil change yesterday. Drove for about 3-5 minutes, my car started smoking out the back and the rpm's were going crazy. I pull over on the side of the road, my transmission light went on and called a tow truck. Found out today, this place emptied my transmission fluid...it was bone dry when the dealership checked it out and they double filled the engine oil. Bad Experience!!! I took my car over there to get a diagnosis on my muffler. Well it turned out my catylic converter was loose. So they gave me a quote for $900. I drove off with it and they made the problem worse where I had to take immediate action. So I took it elsewhere to get fixed costing me only $200. Well I took my other car back to Midas just to get a diagnosis. My car was working fine and was just wanting to find out why it was idling. I told them not to work on it, just let me know what i need to fix, so I can come back another time to have them fix it. Well when I went to pick up my car. I couldn't even drive my car and they gave me a quote for $850. They said the part that my spark plug goes into is stripped, therefore my spark plug is loose. They took that spark plug out and i think they stripped it. And told me 3 other things needed to be done as well. I was driving the car just fine and I don't understand how I can't drive it now. So i had to get it towed to another mechanic who will fix all three of those things for $250. Never going to that place ever again. And hope the public is cautious about going there. read more

I had THE WORST experience. Jose and Andy are NOT CERTIFIED and if they are they got their certifications out of cereal boxes. I brought my brand new car, in great condition, in to get just an oil change. First, they quoted me 15 minutes. I waited over a hour and then when I paid they told me they didn't have the key for the tires to rotate them, which I had but they never requested, and that if I wanted I could give them the key WAIT ANOTHER HOUR to get a rotation I ALREADY PAID FOR. Then when I leave I get about two miles down the road and my car stalls abd won't start. I call Midas and the first tow THEY sent out my car halfway up the bed and then it breaks free and rolls down almost hitting and totaling another car. When I finally got the car back to Midas they claimed it was something they did to the coolant. I come back the next day when everything was supposed to be fixed and find out I now owe then a tow fee of $100, they aren't claiming the damage and they want $400 now to fix what THEY CLEARLY BROKE. I'm outraged at the lack of respect and decency in the establishment and I pray that no one gets taken by these CON ARTISTS again. PLEASE DON'T EVER USE THIS MIDAS! read more
