I usually do all my own work on my car. But I was on a time crunch. Had a leak in my radiator that finally blew. They wanted to replace all my hoses and thermostat 2k for everything. There was nothing wrong with my hoses or my thermostat. So I gave them the go ahead on just the radiator replacement. 500$. Drove off the lot. And all of a sudden the AC isn't working. Though it was working perfectly fine prior. Trust me. It's hot. Called three days in a row waiting on "I'll call you backs" finally got the owner. Also worked on my car. I know the ac and radiator are not connected. But SOMETHING happened. 120$. "I'll look at it, give you quote on repairs" this guy was rude about it too. If it was working fine daily. Then I get some work done pretty close to it, and it stops working. You should probably care a bit more than just trying to make more money off of customers read more

This place is a big miss, if you know exactly what you need repaired then they can do the job, just know it will likely be an aftermarket part unless you specify otherwise. If you have something more unique, like a diagnosis on an issue you don't know the solution to, then it's best to take your car somewhere else. I had a chirping noise on my car a few years ago, they replaced the struts and shocks, serpentine belt, brakes, etc. but the chirping never stopped. Spent roughly $4000 over the course of repairs with them, and the chirping was still there. Their reasoning each time was "well if it's not this part then it must be this part", and as it was my first car, I fell for it. Expensive lesson learned. After replacing the struts and shocks for roughly $1000 he eventually said he thought it was the transmission that was going out, and wanted to do a fluid flush. A transmission fluid flush is not going to fix a dying transmission. Each time I had told them I came to get the noise fixed and that's all I wanted. Their reasoning was always "well that part needed to be replaced anyways." They definitely could have correctly diagnosed the problem earlier on and told me the truth, rather than just continuously swapping out parts to make extra money. If they made a mistake, they could have given a discount to the work or swapped it back and returned the part. I eventually just traded that car into a dealership and switched to learning how to do the maintenance myself. Have had a lot less headaches since. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION! Spent $5k to replace engine on 07 Lexus GS350. Took back for service as car overheated 1 time. Had my son take it for me as I was busy. My wife accompanied to drop off and pick up my 19yo son. Sammy's tried to over charge them $630 for spark plugs plus a bunch of other stuff that wasn't related to the problem. (All inflated pricing)Called manager Jesus and he beat around every bush possible. Even after apologizing for the price gouging, no offer to make it right or actually inspect the problem. I finally ended the call and told them to keep my diagnostic fee as a donation. Can't trust them even after spending $5k and maintaining loyalty to return to them for continuous service. read more

If I can give this place negative stars I would. I remember my mom went here years back when her Toyota engine was dead and they charged her 600$ just to confirm that information without fixing it and they didn't wanna release the car to her without paying that. So she had no choice but to pay but luckily she got it situated with the bank and got her money back. But be careful if you are a women, guys love to take advantage and charge women more but don't be gullible please ladies ask questions of what they charge before they start scamming for extra money in there pockets it's not just this place also multiple auto shops!! read more

I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE NOW.... How do i leave a negative star?I took my car to these people to have a part fixed. $700 later, Jesús "claimed" it was fixed. I picked it up, and the next day, it was doing the exact same thing. It was then I was told "well we don't do electrical stuff like that. You need to take the car some place else to finish it." Problem: NO ONE will touch that part because Sammy's Auto put in an aftermarket part. So now I have to pay for the part over again in order to get it running. And of course, Sammy's isn't taking any responsibility what so ever. Never ever use this shop unless you know a good lawyer... which is my next step. read more

Had car trouble driving from Tucson on our way to Laughlin. Need to find a repair shop. It was 20 minutes before they were to close but they took a look at my car. My car was overheating. I took it into Sammys Auto Service on 75th Ave and Indian School. Miguel helped me. I took it in at about 8:10am, by 9:00 am Miguel called and had found the problem. By 3:00pm, I was called and the car was repaired. I had hose replaced, oil changed and radiator flushed. The cost was under $300. I was impressed by the fast service and polite employees. Did a very fast oil change! Less than 25 minutes in my experience! Priced reasonably well for my large sedan so the cost was 24.99 + tax instead of the usual 19.99 + tax. They also do standard semi-synthetic oil so it should help my high mileage vehicle as opposed to fully organic oil. They quoted 30 minute oil change. Set a timer on my phone for 30 and went to another store around the corner, was done in less than 25 minutes. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is that I had to purposely ask what type of oil would be put into my car, they didn't really offer me full synthetic as an option if I wanted it, and it wasn't the $20 as quoted on Yelp for the special without any sort of mention that it may cost more for larger vehicles. Had a timing belt break on my PT Cruiser. On a limited income but they was able to get me financial help to pay the bill they did a good. But when we took them the other car we knew it needed wheel bearings they found that the rear end needed reworked. They said it would cost a lot cause they had to send it out. So we took it back. But after we made a deal with someone and then took it apart we found out that they never looked at it all. Paid $150 for a new part but old only needed a bearing replaced not needed to rebuilt. Plus we lost $600 on it cause it had parts we didn't had that made it a better part. Guess we will find somebody else to do repair work from now on. We liked them but they lost us. read more
