I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but it feels very unfair to customers who take the time to schedule appointments in advance only to have their vehicle sit in the parking lot for hours without any work being started. At that point, it makes you question the purpose of making an appointment at all. Better communication and more realistic scheduling expectations would go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me frustrated and feeling like my time was not valued.

While it took a long time (2 hours), they did a very thorough inspection, didn't try to sell me on anything, and everything they told me needed fixing, I already knew about - honest. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything they saw. I liked that. They didn't mind my questions. They were very personable - made time to accept my daughter's handmade drawings, giving her paper and high fives. The bathroom was clean and smelled nice! It matters to some of us. There was also a waiting area with a water machine. Other than the length of time it took for an inspection I didn't ask for, I have absolutely zero complaints. Thankfully I had the time to wait unexpectedly, but it would have been great if it was done under an hour, as expected. I will 100% be back to Greulich's at this location. So I started bringing my car there for annual maintenance and was quite satisfied. A few months ago during my annual maintenance they told me I needed new bushings and control arms that would be almost $7000. To say I was shocked was an understatement. A friend recommended I take my car to Tony's Auto Service Center, located at 5602 E Thomas Rd, which I did and asked they check out the bushings and control arms. They called me several hours later to say I DID NOT need new bushings and control arms. They said that a vehicle with 54K miles on it is no where near requiring this repair. They said they don't see vehicles requiring this repair until after at least 100K miles, especially Toyotas. In addition, after checking Car Fax, to which apparently mechanics report every car repair they perform, they noted that at 30K miles they performed a maintenance type repair that isn't required until 50K miles. As a retired single woman I feel like they took advantage of me by lying about what had to be done on my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I cannot begin to tell you how upset I am. DO take your car to Tony's Auto Service Center, even though it may be far from where you live. Call 480-945-7788 and ask for Mike or Scott and tell them Bob's friend Cindy referred you. Discount Tire blunder !!!!…read more Came in morning of 5/29/25 because my low tire air pressure lights came on. I was told needed 2 tires replaced as well as all my tire sensors replaced. I drive a 2013 Prius. They did the work in about 20 minutes and I assumed it would take over an hour. The speed of work was impressive, While driving home I noticed the low tire air pressure was still on so I called them about it. Employee A told me that it was normal and it would go away in 15 to 20 minutes. I did a few errands and after an hour the light was still on so I drove back to Discount Tire so they could have a look. Employee B told me it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes BUT it could take a full day. He told me this after doing a visual inspection. Now after almost a day has passed (19 hours as of this review) my low tire air pressure light is still on. I decided to go on ChatGPT and ask the AI about how long it takes for the light to go away and basically all 2013 Prius sensors must be manually reset, they do not go away after 20 minutes or 1 day. So 2 different employees from Discount Tire gave me erroneous feedback. I now must come in person for the 3rd time to explain this to them. How hard can it be replace sensors for a 2013 Prius and do it right the first time ?!?!?! I give them 2 stars because they are super friendly and the shop is super clean!! I deducted 3 stars because 2 different employees told me wrong info. The guys who did the actual install missed something, employee A missed something and employee B missed something. How can 3 different pairs of eyeballs and 3 different brain stems miss this easy fix??? Wow!!!! The tires here are truly discounted, hence the name but please please please do not discount the technical training for replacing tire sensors. Really, how hard can that be ?!?!? Take a look at my pics to prove that I did come in the time that I stated (about 9am on 5/29) and also my sensor lights are still on at 430am the next day (5/30) I hope to God that wrong sensors were NOT put in my car but I'll find out when I come back to this same Discount Tire when they open in a few hours. I have a Landrover and the Dealership could not find a coolant leak not once, but twice. I took my car to Wilhelm in Anthem and they were able to find the leak right away. Channing not only found the leak but located a defective part in the coolant line. Kyle and Justin are great Techs too and have also worked on my Landrover.
