I had a flat tire today and came into Discount Tire already having a pretty rough day and being in a time crunch. Warren went above and beyond to help me out and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He made sure I was safe, kept me informed about everything he was doing, and genuinely took the time to make sure I was taken care of. That kind of dedication and customer service really stands out. Thank you, Warren, for making my day a little easier when I really needed it. Discount Tire is lucky to have someone like you on their team! read more

I'm not sure if it was just an off day or what but this particular day (today - September 3rd), I came in to have a tire looked at. Ends up it wasn't worth repairing and so I opted to purchase 2 new tires. I was here around 9am and left once I was picked up around 10:30am. To have the same tires that are currently on my SUV, they had to get tires delivered from a different store. Once the tires were delivered, it would drop me to the bottom of the queue. Cool, I wouldn't be here anyhow. I later received a call stating they could do a free alignment. I said sure, why not. I'm getting 2 new tires, that would be a good idea. I received an update call and later a text advising my SUV is ready for pickup. I arrive at the store and my SUV is still sitting in the bay being worked on. I get to the desk and the person I am speaking with can't find my keys. I advised him it's still in the bay. He later comes back to me and advises me that the person working on my SUV is away at lunch. I am now confused as to why I received a text stating my vehicle is ready. So I am given the option to wait or have my SUV retrieved. I stated I was called about an alignment being done so I'd like to receive that free service as accepted an hour and a half ago. The guy working on my SUV returns and long story short states there's work that needs to be done on the assignment that would cost $89. I pretty much said get my SUV and I'll address it another time. The communication in this store is pretty much horrible. I watched other customers while waiting for my SUV to be brought out with confused looks on their faces at the information they were being told. I will probably never return to this location. A lot of things HAVE TO improve smh. read more

I came in on September 10 for a redo on a patch job on a two year old Tire. Per usual the technician (Rey) insisted on checking all my tires for wear even after I said I was only here for a redo on a previous repair (the previous Saturday). Despite having an 11:15 am appointment and there being only three people ahead of me I was told it would be a 1 1/2 -2 hour wait. read more

I have been a loyal client to Discount Tire for many years and I've purchased all of my vehicle tires from this company. Last night, I went to discount tire to have the air in my tires checked; as I approached the line. A service man ran in front of my car, separating me from the car in front of me. There were no other cars behind me. He informed me as he put up the sign that that car in front would be the last car to be checked, even though I had been there prior to him putting the sign up. He told me that they closed at six, and in all fairness I realized at that point it was 6:15, however, the lights were still on, the bay was lit where some work was being done, and it appeared to still be open. There was a gentleman who was still checking the tire pressure for the car in front of me. I told him my light had just come on and that I was having to drive up north early that next morning. With the pouring raining conditions, I was nervous that I was going to have some type of an incident with my tires . As a senior and widowed woman I had no idea how to check the air in my tire tires or put it in. He suggested that I go to Circle K or someplace and try and find air. I assured him I would tip him, as I was really in an awful predicament. I was concerned for my safety traveling on a highway with low tire pressure. I have always had great service from Discount Tire in the past and I certainly wasn't looking for any service that would take more than a few minutes. Working in the service industry myself, I know how important it is to extend ourselves to those who have supported my company . I found this totally unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I think management should help his employees understand that there are sometimes circumstances require you to work an extra 15 mins . I will drive to a new location when I'm ready to purchase my tires and I will certainly share this with others . read more

I was lucky enough to talk to Sebastian & he was able to get my slashed tire last minute. I appreciate everything he did for my car & for getting me going so quick. Thank you ! read more

They made an honest mistake and put the wrong tire then what I bought. Went back the next day with receipt and they corrected the error with no charge and put me in front of other customers to get me out right away. The staff was very helpful and respectful. I'm 62 with a fresh stroke and very happy with this place. Shout out to the Seniors this is where to get your tires. read more

Very rude and short. The female associate was not helpful at all and was getting annoying at me asking basic questions.

I was told it would be 45-60 wait then another hour to work on it Well that was around 11:45am! It is now 4pm & still waiting?? I've seen other customers come & go I asked earlier they had the wrong information, which they never asked for mine. They had the previous owners info. I also asked for an alignment. Even after spending all day here I still had to pay for it. Even though I asked for it in the beginning. I would recommend going to any other Discount Tire, not this location. read more

I have been to Tire Discount 10 times over the years. 8 of those times I left with no charge. They are honest and fair, so I don't mind when I must pay. read more

Jorge is an excellent employee. He made me feel confident in the process and took his time on my car, even though they were extremely busy that morning. I would give 5 stars just for Jacob. He stepped in and fixed a major mistake after another associate ordered and installed the wrong wheels on my car, insisting they were the only option available and that I wouldn't notice a difference..which I absolutely did. (They were a completely different color.) Jacob was incredibly understanding and patient while listening to my concerns. He was honest, personable, and took my situation seriously. Most importantly, he made it right. Because of him, I left feeling heard and taken care of. If I return to this location, I would only feel comfortable working with Jacob & would recommend him to others. If he isn't already in a supervisor or manager role, he absolutely should be. read more

Great service, great employees, and great value! I came in with a flat tire and they absolutely did not disappoint. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and made the whole experience easy. Definitely a place I would recommend! read more

Typically have had great experiences until 08/03, apparently if you leave your car for a tire change rather than waiting inside you'll be skipped over in line for people that came after you. Dropped my car off for a tire change at 9am and came back nearly 3 hours later, everyone that came after me was already gone with their cars and all the customers with new faces getting their keys back already while my car was still in the same spot I parked it with a spare on. Once I get there that's when the technicians start running to my car to change the tire quickly making me have to wait even more time. Very disappointing and inconsistent with past experiences with previous management and employees read more

went to go get Tires and I was going between Firestone and Discount and Discount would not grant me my warranty and then finally said they'll match Firestones price and after going back-and-forth, I bought my tires with Discount against my better judgment. I did not add the warranty this time knowing next time I get tires I'm just going to Firestone, however with my tires being from Discount, I went in for one of my routine balance and the employee chose to tell me that I need new tires and it would cost me $1000. I went to Firestone. Firestone told me they still look almost new and I do not need tires. I will not be using discount tires for my tires anymore since they don't make commissions, they must get some kind of bonus to sell you tires that you don't need and take away your warranties very very disappointed in discount tire. I have used them for years and they have lost me forever read more

Came in Saturday for new tires after a blowout on the freeway. Sebastian helped us and we got our new tires o. The same day. The entire experience was better than I expected. We were in and out of there in less than 1.5 hours which was the best tire experience I ever had. The price was reasonable too. We chose discount tire because of the founder's philanthropic work with the Arizona burn center which is something I am also passionate about. I plan to come back for our next set of tires for our other vehicles. Thank you. read more

Oh wow!! This tire shop prevented us from a possible terrible car accident. We noticed our low tire pressure light was on, and my husband saw something protruding from tire. Selena from Discount Tire helped us IMMEDIATELY , checking the tire for leaks. She told us the tire could probably be repaired, but they also wanted to rotate the tires. Upon doing so, Luke and Jose had us come to the work area, and showed us that we had a severely damaged tire ( one if their tires- Still under warranty) that could easily have blown out. The bad tire was replaced for free and the repair cost $17.00. We are SOOOO grateful and we will be customers for life read more

Outstanding, polite and quick staff. Great communication and no upsell. Will definitely be back!

Came in so I could get my tire patched up, and they refused it saying that my "tire health" was bad. May I remind you I got brand new tires. These tire salesmen need to set aside there ego. I ended up going to Auto Zone and bought a kit that ended up fixing my tire anyways. read more

Excellent service! I recommend Emmanuel and Selena are really good at their job and helping you find what you need. Good job guys! Tires and wheels are never cheap when you want good quality, so if your writing a review about how expensive they are, just remember cool stuff isn't cheap, and cheap stuff isn't cool. Also, this location is really clean compared to other Tire shops. Edit** This location is extremely busy. So make an appointment or DON'T be LAZY, and get to the store before it opens so they can check your vehicle in before it really does get busy. People get mad because of the time the job requires to complete the vehicle, but safety is a priority. This isn't fast food, it's your vehicle and the safety of you and everyone on the road with YOU! My wheels finally came In because they were on back order, it took them an hour to get them done and I wasn't the first one in line. read more

Always good service with a great staff. From the check tire pressure area to the service department. Honesty with keeping it 100 for your car's well being. Had to go on a Saturday due to a stupid nail in my tire that is not old. Bought all new tires from discount that matched Walmarts price and forget the dealer.... what a RIP off. Anyhoo got tire patched up without having to get a brand new warranty tire. on my way on a Saturday afternoon in an hour and a half. They work hard in that shop and are always pleasant. read more

they ordered a new tire for me yesterday and told me it should be in the afternoon. I came in and now I'm waiting for hours to mount the tire and put it back on the vehicle i puchasd the tires a month ago and one tire keeps deflating they had put the spare tire on and did not even tell me that they were gonna do that they could have left the tire on and came back today or whenever they're not busy we had plan to go up north at 1:00 pm I'm tired of waiting here read more

Me and my daughter went to a restaurant, 6 stores, and discount tire at 91st and northern. Discount tire had by far the best service and was the cleanest place we went to. I drive past 2 other Discount Tire stories to use this one. Gabriel L. has by far made this store superior to anything in the area and far above standards of discount tire! Shout out for Gabe!!!! As I waited for my tire to be repaired I watch the guys work. i had to buy a new tire. Thye found one that fit, put it on my wheel and then threw it in the back of my car. They had left the spare tire on my car, instead of putting the new one on. so I brought it up before I left, someone told me I was going to have to wait an hour for them to get my car back in to change the tire. Before I could ask for a manager a woman heard and saw what was going on, took my keys and pulled the car into the bay herself. She then changed the tire for me, so I only had to wait the 25 minutes or whatever for her to put my new tire on. I then spoke to her and the manager. praised her, then told the manager be thankful I'm not someone who will flip out over things. Because I'm sure a Karen would have let them have it, screamed for a refund and whatever else. I probably should have asked for a discount for my trouble, but whatever. lol. read more

These guys allways take of of me when ever I'm in. They are all so sweet and understanding. Roughly 3 months ago I bought 4 new tires from these guys and unfortunately I noticed that one of them started to form a bubble on the side wall, it was so small I almost didn't see it. I came in today during my break and they were able to get me in and out and replace the tire for me in less then an hour. These guys are genuinely amazing. The staff is so friendly and they genuinely want to help. Thank y'all so much!!! read more

I gotta tell ya... I take really good care of my truck. Anytime something arises that involves me taking it somewhere just worries the heck outta me. Are they going to put their grubby little hands all over my freshly detailed paint? Are they going to drop the transmission when all I needed was a tire rotation? Are they going sell me a lifetime supply of Rice-A-Roni with the purchase of a set of new tires? ...these are things that just stress me out. 4 weeks ago, the TPMS sesor on my truck went off. Low tire pressure on passenger side rear tire. Oh great. Something has gone awry. So I stop at a Quik Trip after work, put air in the tire, bring it back up to normal and head home. Fast forward to this past Monday (4 weeks later) and the TPMS sensor goes off again. Oh great. That solidifies the fact that this is no fluke. Something is up. So I do a search for tire repair close to the proximity of where I am and voila! DISCOUNT TIRE. I got to make an appt. online which is nice because overall, I don't like to talk to people if I don't have to. I'm not anti-social, but I talk to people all day long at work and the last thing I wanna do when I get home is pick up the phone and talk to more people. So I make an appt. online at their appt. and get an e-mail confirmation. How fricken cool is that? Easy peezy. I get to the store this afternoon and I'm immediately greeted which is a good sign. Izzy takes a walk with me outside to look at my truck, I explain the situation, he explains what they're going to do - all is good. I hit the waiting room which is enormous with plenty of ample seating. You're not right on top of one another and it's super clean, too. I did have to wait about an hour which wasn't too shabby as far as I'm concerned. They pulled my truck into the garage bay and discovered a screw embedded in the tire. Once they yanked it out, thankfully, it was capable of being repaired. Yayyyyyyy!!! They plugged the small hole which was causing my super s-l-o-w leak in this tire. They let me know my truck is ready, I go up to the counter and guess what... it's fricken free of charge! I make an appt. online, I don't talk to anyone, they pull my truck back, repair the tire and it costs me zero dollars? Tell me what other local business does this. Go ahead. I'll wait. Tell me. Times up. I'll give you a clue. ** THERE ARE NONE! ** I will absolutely NOT hesitate to recommend DISCOUNT TIRE to all of my family, friends and fellow Yelp'ers! I will be back for sure for all my tire needs. They were so friendly, so professional, so courteous and they did so quickly! I was using another tire shop in the Valley to rotate my tires every other oil change. I am thinking I will switch to DISCOUNT TIRE because of how well they cared for my aftermarket wheels! Thanks fellas! read more

This location lives up to the high standard of the Discount Tire days where the lady could throw the tire threw the window comercial. The staff and manager are attentive, compassionate, efficient, and provide status updates when needed. Having made this my local Discount and visited multiple times I would recommend this location and chain. Keep in mind appointments are best for scheduling most services and due to their quartet are a popping business. Tire work and vehicle respect are great here! Very pleased with the work and selection of quality affordable tires. Extra shout out to Justin who is an excellent face of Discount Tire and customer service sales! read more

Came here two weeks in a row...what bad luck with tires lately. Both times the tires blew out. And changing tires is not easy! Especially with big tires. This location is clean, well kept, not much clutter. Each time the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and attentive. Very professional people here. This also have to be the fastest Discount Tire in the valley. Both times I was in and out quite quick. The loo was okay, it needed to be picked up, and the toilet paper was quite low. Other than that, a good loo with a slightly more powerful toilet compared to common house toilet. Fortunately for me both times I didn't have to pay for the tires because of the certificates I get when I bought tires from them previously. All I had to do is pay a small fee. So if they try to sell you a certificate, get it, it'll save you an arm and a leg. Overall an excellent experience, and this will definitely be my go to Discount Tire! read more

Waiting in line for almost 45min just to have air put in my tires. This is absolutely ridiculous. They are so slow when it comes to this.

Been a love and hate relationship with my tires --- not the fault with Discount tire. Initially had a bad wheel which caused a disruption to our weekend getaway to California. Thankfully, DT is a national chain and their locations in California was able to give me options to get back home safely. Second, time had a tire blow out on the 101 was able to get AAA to place the spare and return to DT for the road hazard replacement. Third, had a set wear out prematurely 60k warranty bad tire at 12k-- replaced with different brand at prorated price. The bigger SUV = tire eaters -- but wife and family loves them. Had considered other tire shops-- cosxxx, tire rxxx, etc but DT always had more options, price, and they actually honor the "warranty/insurance" Our new car just had a full set placed with the road hazard guarantee and will continue to buy here. read more

I went to Discount today because I had a flat. Ran over a screw. After waiting for over an hour to get my car into the bay, which they told that was the waiting time, I was cool with that. I wasn't cool with was they told me I had only TWO lug nuts on my front passenger tire after they changed it out for new tires. At first, I was surprised because I would have notice shakiness if I drove. Then it dawn on me after I left, that they broke one of my stud and stripped two others but told me that I came in with only two lug nuts on front passenger tire. Never coming back to this place. Only bright spot the guy helping me, Ian was polite and provided great customer service. I now need my mechanic to fix the broken stud and the others. read more

Everyone is very friendly, but you're looking at a long wait. Even after scheduling an appointment you're still looking at an hour wait before they actually take your car to be worked on. So if possible I don't recommend sitting and waiting. A 45min job ends up turning into 2 hours. And that's after waiting in a long line for a consultation just to make the appointment to come back. Other than that very friendly and reasonable. read more
