Paid $599.92 for three tires.. supposedly One was under warranty but had to pay some stupid certificate fee I thought was around $40 but now I see I was charged $78 plus all these other stupid taxes and fees . Quoted it would be about 1 1/2 to 2 hours now it almost ends up being 3.5 till 4. Why the hell didn't they just forecast business and cut walk in customers off at 4 . Then people wouldn't been there and the staff wouldn't be working till 8 pm at night when they start at 8 in the morning!! Everybody and their mother they served . Whoa! Customer service is on point with this location. I was greeted, helped and on my way within 15 minutes. My front right tire was flat and bald so we looked at options for replacement and we went over a recommended plan for a second balding tire. No pressure to purchase, just very informative on when to get that tire checked again. About two hours later, from the comfort of my home, I received a text letting me know my car was ready. I haven't been back to this store for several years due to prior issues. I needed to get a tire fixed and they were the only one nearby with appointments open, so I took a chance. Everything was ok until I left the store. Going down the road and the jeep wrangler rear swing door was not secured. (I'm not sure why they even opened it) So I pulled over and closed it, and while back there checked the 2 lug nuts and lock holding the spare on. And of course they weren't even finger tight. This is the second location that didn't tighten things when they supposedly finished the job. Time to find a new tire dealer. read more

I ordered new tires for my car over the phone, there was a bit miscommunication over the phone because they didn't actually see my car, that's ok I ended up ordering much better tires similar to what was on my previous sports car. They look fantastic on my hot rod! The customer salesman knew what he was talking about regarding recommendations because it looks great! I always go with warranties from Discount Tire! Recently had an awesome experience at Discount. My alignment was messed up and basically had eaten up two new tires. The manager (I want to say Brian? the bald guy - he won't take offense to that because of his great sense of humor), explained to me what was going on in a way I could understand and kept it light-hearted even though I felt silly. I ordered set of trailer tires. When I went in for installation we noticed the manufacturer had sent them 2-1/2 year old tires. Discount Tire immediately ordered me 4 better tires from a more reliable manufacturer (at no extra cost to me) and installed them first thing the next morning. They are great for swinging by to get the air pressure checked in your tires. I had a walk-in flat repair recently that went well. I made an appointment, in advance, to discuss a new set of tires. I waited patiently in line. I was still in line waiting to be seen when my appointment time arrived and passed. I bailed shortly afterwards. I've been a customer of discount tire for 20 years but recently have run into incredible problems due to incompetence. I took my car in for a rotation and balancing and the balancing was terrible. I subsequently took my car back. Had them do it one more time. The tire pressure light came on after they finished . The tire was 14 pounds low after the tire rotation and balancing. I had to stop at a competitors tire facility to get a free pressure check. That's how I discovered it was 14 pounds low. upon getting the car home I checked the tire myself to see if there was something going on a nail a bad valve stem, etc. come to find out there was a nail directly in the center of the tire. The next day I went back to the same discount tire place and told the manager that upon checking my tire, there was a nail in the tire and asked him how they could balance the tires without noticing a nail ? He said they do a visual inspection? After all is said & done, and they finished with the car I drove off to find out the balancing was horrible ! Will never go back a 4th time ! read more

I scheduled a tire replacement this pass it weekend, approximately one hour into my appointment. I was told that the tires ever specifically ordered for my vehicle were sold to another customer. I made it clear how unacceptable the situation was as I had made specific arrangements for my children to be cared for while I had this taken care of. When I returned to the shop, I discussed my concerns with both Paul and Enrique. I expressed my frustrations, and Paul was able to courier tires that same day and completed the service as planned. They were able to get me a "better "tire at a discounted price given the circumstances. He didnt order them for anyone in particular, they were just coming in and the next day my girl was off so she brought it down and was out of the place within 30 minutes.Cant ask for better service, seriously!! While staying in Peoria thought I'd get the tires rotated so I was driving back on the good tires. I recently went to this location and I arrived exactly at 6 pm when they were closing. The first young man I approached said I'm sorry but we just closed. Then I said oh I have a screw in my tire and I have 4 grandkids in the car, immediately a guy named Enrique said can I have your keys - I'm going to help you get it out. He said he wouldn't want his mom out in the dark with this situation. I can't tell you how much I appreciated Enrique's kindness and compassion. if I was able to give this discount tire location, a higher review than a five star I would we were supposed to have an appointment at 9:30 but had an trip where we needed to come in early. Everyone at this location was very accommodating they took us right away, even though they had just opened and had us in and out with under an hour. There was so much courtesy and friendliness throughout every employee in the store. I even watched a man treat someone with complete disrespect, and the man kept a smile on his face the whole and please the customer there was no way of pleasing the customer however he gave it his all. I don't think that we can say that many people will do that generally people seem to lose or cannot continue to stay the way that they are supposed to when you were in the customer service field. Kind of upset, trusted Discount Tires for about 15 years and 6 sets of tires. Today I left my car in their care for over 2hrs to get $1000 set of tires. Came back received my key and come to find my car is unlocked and the engine running sitting in the middle of the parking lot. Not only that the low pressure light is on. No one seems to be bothered about either. Steve said he would take down my name and find out who is responsible and I was told to drive my car around until the low pressure lights goes out. I have 2 cars almost the same and didn't have to do this with my other car when I got a new set of tires a couple of months ago at the same location. The tpms system light goes on when the tires are under 29 pounds (should be 35). Just don't feel very good about this location anymore. I'm back an hour later.
