    Just bought a Kia Sportage from Bob today. Bob was my much needed angel! Just as I was about to give up on getting approved Bob called me and I told him my situation, he said he bet he could make it happen. Let me tell you he wasn't bluffing. He worked his angel magic and got me approved in a fully loaded beautiful sportage (the exact car I was looking for) Bob and his team are miracle workers. He was understanding, so kind and an all around good man. Not the typical sales person at all. If you need a car, see Bob!!!

He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

I explained this upfront and still chose to proceed with a diagnostic to confirm the issue. I was quoted a flat $65 diagnostic fee by the owner with no mention of pricing ranges or tiers. I agreed and scheduled the service. The technician arrived about 30 minutes later than scheduled, which I was informed of ahead of time. During a brief text exchange with the owner, I expressed concern due to a prior negative experience with another company. The response I received made the interaction feel slightly tense, including being told I could "find someone else" if needed. When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. Communication afterward included frustration from the business regarding the reduced payment, despite the pricing change being due to lack of prior disclosure.     This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic…read more My girlfriend and I dropped her car off Friday morning at Joe's Auto for a simple diagnostic on a check engine light. We heard nothing all day until about 20 minutes before closing, when they told us they would be keeping the car over the weekend--even though they are closed and unreachable on weekends. On Monday, they claimed they were already finishing repairs on the car. My girlfriend immediately told them she never authorized any work. At that point, the mechanic realized they had never actually contacted her for approval. They then told her it would be $3,700 to get the car back because the work had "already been done." When she refused to pay for unauthorized repairs, they began putting the old parts back on the car--again without permission. When she pushed back and mentioned involving authorities, they hung up on her. When she went to pick up the car the next day, it was no longer on the lot. Staff refused to tell her where it was. Only after police got involved did they agree to return the car free of charge--but with a catch. When we went back, they tried to force her to sign a document on a pin pad without showing it to her. After insisting on reading it, we saw it included language stating that Joe's Automotive is not responsible for any loss or damage to the vehicle. When she asked what would happen if she didn't sign, they said they would not release the car--and that storage fees would continue daily. We felt forced to sign just to get the car back. Afterward, we took the car to a trusted mechanic, who confirmed that work had in fact been done, including welding parts back on-contradicting what Joe's Auto later claimed to the police and to us. This experience involved unauthorized work, lack of communication, lack of accountability, rude staff and extremely questionable business practices. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop and going somewhere more reputable & honest. Would give 0 stars. Go to a mechanic who has integrity in their work and actually communicate to their customers before they start working on your car.

I am not satisfied with the service I received. When I initially took my vehicle to you on December 4th, my check engine light was on and my radiator fluid was leaking. I advised I only wanted the issue that led to my check engine light and leak to be fixed because that's all I could afford at the time. I was told it was the cause was the Intake Manifold Gasket. The total came to $5005.22 I got a call saying my vehicle was ready and I picked it up on December 17th (8 days after drop-off). I was told to check engine light was still on and they're not sure why, but they drove the car and everything is fine. I drove my car to enterprise to drop my rental back off and then to the grocery store. While on the freeway, to the grocery store, the car shut off. The coolant and engine overheating warming lights came on. (The issue I just paid $5005.02). I called your shop twice and no answer and then I sent an email. December 18th I received a call back and was advised they will come to my house and pick my truck back up. Two men came and picked my truck up. I got a call December 19th. Stating it was now the heat module management/unit that needed to be replaced which came out to another $1078.54. My car was picked up December 18. I did not receive my car back until January 7th. I was told twice before this date that I was going to get my car back. I ended up having to spend $726 for a rental car. My issue is I had to pay $2000 just to get my car taken apart and I wanted whatever the major issue was to be fixed. According to you, it was the intake manifold gasket, nothing else. The fact that I paid $2000 and the heat module management/unit was not identified as needing to be fixed/replaced, I feel like I got extorted. My car was not a priority even after I said I had a rental car, my car was at your shop for 23 days in total. January 7th, 2026 I picked my car up and I have been doing minimal driving. January 10th the check engine light is back on again. (The issue I just paid a total of $6083.56). Not including rental cars charges of $726. At this point I do not want to take my truck back because it is apparent and I mean no disrespect that your shop does not know how to fix my vehicle. I would like some of my money back.
