Not a good experience for me. I purchased a used vehicle and was told that some of the defects I found would be taken care of by the dealership. Well, now that they have my money, they couldn't seem to care less. I was told that the service department would reach out to me but that has never happened. When I inquired about the status, I got one or two word answers and no follow up whatsoever. So now I have a used truck with a non-functioning turn signal and missing parts. Fantastic. I will steer far clear of this place in the future. Unfortunately, this is the stereotypical greedy, uncaring car dealer trope playing out in real life. I'm very disappointed. read more

Extremely pushy sales people. "Management" is even worse. They will corner you on the lot...literally. Horrible at returning calls and texts. Save your money and your stress levels and go somewhere else. $3500 in add-ons & low trade in values compared to competitors. I'm begging you to please run away from this dealership. read more

Turbo on my 2018 CRV failed short of 65,000 miles (8/11/23) at my great expense. 5,000 later 3/1/24 the new Turbo failed and I had to leave it at Findlay Honda in Flagstaff as Devin (Showcase) told me not to drive it. No loaner cars available in Flagstaff on Friday afternoon so had to rent a vehicle for one week before Findlay replaced Turbo again. Had to make another trip to Flag to pick it up. Per Findlay service manager, turbo had been negligently installed w/o replacing oil screen and it failed because starved for oil. No maintenance had been done on the car between the two turbo failures. Findlay replaced turbo at no charge. When I asked Showcase to reimburse my rental ($407) the service manager, Shawn, had every excuse imaginable, suggesting that I (or some other service place) did something to it or that I was looking for a windfall. I conceded knowing that their "warranty" didn't cover a rental, but appealed to him as a matter of fairness and good customer relations to cover it. There is no excuse for a turbo to fail at 65,000 miles much less 5,000 miles. It is highly unlikely that it failed for any reason than negligent installation by Showcase under the circumstances. While the service manager offered some future discount on service, I declined because I am going to get rid of the vehicle as soon as possible. It is bad enough that Honda doesn't stand behind their turbos, but the least they can do is reimburse my rental for the week. I will be contacting Honda Corp next. read more

I tried to do a online maintenance request but they don't service the year and model of the car so I did a online chat with somebody and they took my name number email address and told me they would get back to me. I waited a couple days and made a phone call to the service department try to get a price for having the valves adjusted on my car there again he couldn't quote me a price he took my name and number and they never got back to me and today is like day four. Granted my car is 1992 Honda Accord but you know maybe one day I'd like to replace it if I can find a place that has good service and they get back to you read more

I would give 10 stars if I could just for Cassie herself. She is amazing at her job and does not try to sell you on anything like all the other service attendants. She is straight to the point and knows her stuff! Love to see her working 10x harder than the all the other (male) employees. I have come in here multiple times with my leased vehicle and she is the only person I will continue to use moving forward. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the sales department is awful. I get multiple different advice and answers from them and they are only worried about selling a new car. Every employee should be like Cassie. read more

If I can give them a 0 I would but I can't so I'll give them a 1. So I went there for a tire change and they mess up my car. I recommend everyone not to go to there service department because your car will be broken down in a second. Don't go if you do your car will be damaged. read more

TERRIBLE!!!  Do NOT go here!  If I could give ZERO stars I would. They keep you in the dark, lie, lie, and did I mention lie?  Everything you picture a sleezeball car dealer would do they do it.  They bumped the prices up, even though I was told their was an internet "special" and would give me a discount for my trouble due to a vehicle NOT being on the site?!?  Isn't that illegal?  I had a copy of a Carfax that showed an accident on a vehicle and they tried to lie about that, too! I have read tons of reviews here that have had a similar experience. I would like to look into filing a lawsuit for bait & switch if anyone else is interested? Apparently they are owned by the same group that owns most of that Auto Row on Camelback (per a few of the employees).   Save yourself the wasted time, trust, and $$$ and go to another part of Phoenix to get a vehicle! HONDA/Josh from Honda, do NOT tell me to "contact Lindsay Voss, Customer Relations Manager, at lvoss@vtaig.com or 602-604-6539" like you did for everyone else! Get it together and be professional for once. read more

this place doesn't care about gaining a customer. We were brought over by an internet agent who assured us savings of $3.7k on a vehicle they had listed for $19k. When we brought it up (we had the entire conversation on the phone) the manager Thomas basically said it's not true and won't sell the car for less than the listed amount. Didn't bother apologizing for his agents mistakes or owning up to it and presenting other options. Basically a big F U to us. my brother in law just said we are done and got up and walked away. Completely unprofessional here and obviously don't care about gaining any business. Stay away because they obviously don't mind not having any customers making purchases from them. read more

Today I had the pleasure of working with Gary and his colleague Cedric. They were professional, kind and hardworking. They did a great job helping answer my questions about the car I wanted to buy & did not waste my time when I decided to not purchase the car. The only feedback I have for the dealership is to re-name the fee-proposal section titled "options" to something else. This "optional" charge is not optional and caused me to walk away because the value of the "options" was not worth what the charge was. I would work with Gary and Cedric again in a heartbeat and recommend your dealership to family & friends for their car needs. read more

5/5 for SALES, Joey was very nice and understanding of our needs. I enjoyed the experience in that regard. 2/5 for FINANCIAL, they care most about maximizing their personal profit (I get it's a business, but meeting us somewhere between invoice and MSRP is how you get lifelong customers). I had initially went in to purchase a new EXL model of a vehicle using AMEX's auto program that took a couple thousand off MSRP. I also used the $500 college grad rebate. I opted for the extended warranty and chose a long 84-month term to keep payments low (with the intention of overpayment to allow wiggle room when needed). During the first negotiations, when going from a 72 to 84 month term, the guy said "we'll throw in chips, dents, scratches and the payment will be $X". When looking over the contract, what was "thrown in" wasn't a free addition but an extra $1500 package we didn't need. We had it removed. When I came back to switch the car to another model due to concerns over the 1.5 engine with known oil dilution issues, I ended up downgrading the trim from the EXL model to the EX model, but the hybrid version ($$1600 more, around EXL MSRP). Being cyber Monday, there was a $1000 off incentive in my email. I was told I didn't qualify for this because I was already receiving a greater discount. I was also told they were removing my $500 graduate rebate because of the length of the loan term. When I mentioned we signed with the rebate before at the same 84-month term, the financial guy said sorry that was a mistake. I ended up paying the base MSRP of the vehicle. No AMEX discount, no cyber Monday $1000 off, no $500 college graduate rebate. There is no real reason I shouldn't have qualified for these with our combined 750+ credit scores and combined finances. I would have been mostly satisfied if at least the $500 college rebate was honored. Another dealership offered the same vehicle $1000 less than I purchased it (too late). I love the car I purchased. However, the financial services team are more interested in us meeting THEIR needs than them meeting our needs and helping us save where we can. I get they need to make money too, but gaining life-long customers means meeting somewhere in the middle. read more

My parents have been customers of showcase Honda for years and we would service our Honda vehicles here regularly. This location use to be clean and well kept, but over the years unfortunately the service quality has decreased. I received an oil change in January and I just got around to checking my oil levels. Unfortunately whoever serviced my car put an extra 4 quarts of oil inside of it. For those who may not know, this is extremely dangerous for your car. It is so sad to see that I can't even trust Honda showcase to complete an easy task such as an oil change. It's safe to say my family and I will no longer be using this to service our Hondas. read more

I attempted to buy a car here and then I paid a deposit but couldn't leave with the vehicle because they were missing a required part to pass the certified car inspection so Saturday 9/2/23 they said they'd deliver car. They pushed to get my deposit for $4K then pushed to get me to add the car to my insurance: I haven't been able to get to work for days now !! Then I gave them cash and they have to give me a check because they couldn't invest 4mins to drive to the chase bank on the corner. Then I get here to cash the check and they hadn't released the check to positive pay status for me to cash it. I called they. Claimed they released it but have not. Rocky is so unprofessional he is going to tell me to "maybe wait more than 10 secs for the bank system to update!" What kind of head of sales manager are you. Clay was momentarily helpful to get me taken care of at signing but I would not buy there unless they can confirm the car is ready to go and can be driven off the lot. I worked with Isaiah and Jacob, both were very friendly and helpful when talking to and individually deserve 5 stars. Isaiah stayed late to help get our deal finished and Jacob was very knowledgeable on the Civic that I ended up purchasing. Only thing that could be improved with my individual experience would just be quicker response time on things. This dealership is shipping my car to my new address in another state and I have had some struggle with figuring out timing with them such as how long the car will take to ship and when they will need the car by. I asked to have the car there by a specific date, but I am not sure if that is going to happen now, which is a bit frustrating because them shipping the car was integrated into part of the price I paid. But, as I mentioned, I had a great time with Isaiah and Jacob and they made my experience better and more enjoyable. read more

Please listen to the negative reviews! Avoid this place, worst customer service. I wish i can give it -5 stars We got a used car and the starter didn't even work (The salesman, Terrance reassured us that it was just the battery)! We came in Saturday (which they advised us to do) just to tell us that they were busy. Understandable, so we made an appointment on Monday, come Monday, they told us that they need till Wednesday since there's something wrong with the starter. Again, us being understanding and too nice, we agreed. Come Tuesday, they said they need till Thursday, again, we agreed since we know things happen. Now, today is Wednesday, and they tried to extend it till Tuesday. WE BARLEY HAVE DROVE THE CAR MORE THAN A DAY, AND THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG. To top it off, the manager, James in sales was not even sympathetic to the situation and sounded like he was reading off a script to "apologize". Please, go to any Honda dealership OR ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

23 December 2019, This Honda dealership attempted to get me to pay for a 2017 Civic (28,000 Miles) with over $24,400 as a walkout price. Utterly ridiculous. While the salesman said the miles was only 21,000 miles as he read it. At another Honda dealer I was able to bring down their price less than a $24,650 for a Brand new 2019 Civic Sport. Everything in this paragraph happened in a five hour period. Thank god the moment I've actually remembered the mileage when I test-drove the vehicle to know something was up. It was back and fort, with the salesman going across the room to the sales manager. It took so long for the salesman to keep going back just for confirmation at this dealership. The service I recieved was not properly reflected by the average reviews at the time which was 4.4 stars at google maps for some reason. Yelp is far more accurate. I also implore you to look at all my reviews and tell me if I have ever reviewed anything as less than 3 stars, other than this one. No matter how the salesman or staff here try to seem friendly, they tried to milk me for as much as they possibly could. You need to be able to walk away to other options, ALWAYS. Compare prices online. I will review through multiple media, and if they try to treat you like fools, you should walk out and give them the review they deserve through multiple platforms/apps, because one star out of five is not low enough. I drove down all the way from Naval Base Kitsap, WA after commencing destruction work on secret material at the Ballistic Missile submarine base I rushed back home to family for leave down to here in Arizona where my car while parked before I woke up the next day was totaled. After being thanked for my service, when I asked if used cars had military discounts (They do not here) and maybe the sales guy purposely lied to me about miles on the vehicle I was trying to buy, I frankly do not know. Now I have to spend my Christmas on the road for 1,400 miles rushing back for an oncoming duty day. Lastly, you should see Brittany Dickerson's google maps review it is worth looking into as well and note the number of people that liked her review. She too has noticed that their reviews were fluffed. read more

NEVER and i repeat NEVER go to Richard Vargas for anything. I thought maybe I had a bad experience but after reading the reviews, it is clear that that man should not have a job there. Unprofessional in every single way. I truly hope they see he is stealing from the company and their customers. Oh also dont even try to ask for any paperwork or files cause they will not provide it. After reading more reviews, it is clear that even though they pride themselves in "fair pricing and their reputation", thats all fake. This place is a scam and so is everyone who works there. If I could give a half a star I would. Showcase Honda should rename the place of business to Showboat Honda because these individuals are in the business of thinking they can show off their comical theatrical performances, none of which were impressive. These individuals all have titles of manages and enjoy the game of haggling, and outright lying, oh but wait, they will tell you, it was a "mistake". What am I talking about? These individuals succumb to trying to say and write a number and percentage rate and once you provide your personal information the numbers and percentages quickly change in their favor. Nope! Do NOT waste 5 minutes of your time let alone 3 hours allowing these people to say, it was a mistake. Which by the way was said 3 different times. Epic moves! Also, always ensure you have an extra set of keys without telling the dealership because these individuals will keep your keys so you won't leave. I had an extra pair of keys and walked out! If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE! I went about a month ago to get my A/C checked because it was not cooling properly. After about 45 minutes of waiting, the service person walked up to me and said my condenser had some small object lodged in it which was causing a leak. He went on to say the condenser needs to be replaced and it was going to cost $800.00. I told them I will not be able to do the service and decided to leave. Fast forward to a few days later. My dad told me to take my car to his A/C specialist so he can check what is going on. He assured me there were no issues with the condenser and said all that needs to be done to the A/C system is a service. He checked everything and did not see the issue Honda was pointing out. I proceeded to let him service my A/C and it's now been a month and I have not had any issues with my A/C cooling. I would always recommend getting a second opinion before jumping into what this place is telling you to fix. I saved my self more than $600.00 getting a second opinion. read more

Very helpful and knew exactly what i needs and we're able to set me up with the correct appointment

Purchased a vehicle here and traded in a car at the same time. It took over a month to get my trade paid off as they kept sending the check to the wrong location. I had to do all the work to get it fixed each time and they seemed like it was a bother to help me. Collectively. I spent close to 10 hours of my own time working to resolve this. Each time I called they made up excuses and deflected the blame. A customer should not have to be so involved in the background work of such a transaction. On the sales side, they refused to honor the price listed online and I realized afterwards that they raised the price further once I got to the finance office. So maybe that's on me for not realizing the change in price, but not ethical! I will not be doing business with this dealership or Honda again any time soon. read more

I've always loved and trusted Honda but my most recent experience with the service department left an awful taste in my mouth. James B. failed to explain what was going on with my car's undercarriage & let me drive away with an improperly attached skid plate without even so much so as telling me. Only found out when my car started making a god awful screeching sound on the freeway. When I called to figure it out he was immediately apologetic and wanted to fix it to "do right by me" and then immediately called me back to say it will actually cost over $300 because the issue was on the invoice (the same invoice that he didn't bother going over). Failed to tell me that during the service they only ATTEMPTED to screw my skid plate back on; which is why it immediately came unscrewed while I was driving on the freeway. James B. also was unclear and honestly it felt like he was being deceitful with specific pricing quotes. I was told when I dropped my car off that there would be a diagnostic fee to look at some electrical issues, but that that diagnostic fee would then go towards any repairs (which is the only reason I agreed to that and approved it.) Then on the phone James informed me that the fee actually wouldn't go towards any repairs and that money was simply gone? Then in person upon pick up he then told me again if I choose to come back for repairs that that fee would actually go towards repairs. The back and forth on that answer was confusing and didn't fill me with trust in anything he was saying. Extremely disappointed in Showcase Honda, I've never had an experience this bad before. read more

I was looking to purchase a used car for my daughter and was searching the internet and found the vehicle I was looking for. This was on a Monday evening around 7:00pm. I filled out Showcase's online inquiry and received two emails back within the hour stating the vehicle was available. I responded to the email and indicated that I would stop by the dealership on Tuesday afternoon to look at the car. When I arrived Tuesday, I asked for the person who I had been in email communication with. He was odd that day, so I was providing with another sales person to work with. I said I was there for this specific car. After about 30 minutes of them trying to locate the car, they pull up the same model, but not the car I was interested in. I said "no", I was here for the silver one. After some more searching, the sales manager came over and said the car was at one of their other dealerships for its inspection....i I wanted to start the negotiation and put money down, I would have "first right of refusal" once it was back from the inspection. I indicated I wanted to physically see the car before starting any process with them. I left after wasting 60+ minutes there....all they want is to get your there and then try to sell you on another vehicle, when I told them I was only interested in that specific one. On Wednesday, I sent another email asking about the status, and could I come see it yet. No response, even though I said I was EXTREMELY interested. A few days later, I still see the car on their website and no call back. The car is now listed as sold and I was never contacted specifically to come in on that car. The only thing I now get is repeated phone calls asking if I want to come down there and view their inventory! read more

Purchased a "Certified" pre-owned 2018 Honda HRV after my '08 Santa Fe suffered an electrical surge (loved that car ). The issues literally started after I drove it off the lot. The oil pan fell off and was dragging under the car. A repair tech did come out to fix it and told me it wasn't secured previously. Cool. The battery died that same week and needed to be replaced. The dealer paid me back. Cool. The TPMS went off from the day I took it home. Tires were inflated almost double the amount recommended. Got that fixed, but the sensor still went off almost weekly. Took the car in to a tire shop and found out the tread was at a 2. Replaced all 4 tires. The defroster blasted out a ton of tree debris. That's odd. I was falsely reassured that my car was also put thru a 182 pt inspection by it being labeled as "Honda Certified", yet these things were so easily overlooked. The dealer texts me today to see if I'm happy. I guess me saying no was an acceptable option.... just like them doing an inspection on my car. Classy. Would I buy a Honda again? Absolutely. Would I return to or recommend Showcase Honda? Absolutely not. NO read more

I had an **EXCELLENT** car buying experience at Showcase Honda. This dealership stands by its word and operates with integrity throughout the entire purchasing process. Upon reaching the front door, I was greeted promptly by a very courteous Sales & Leasing Consultant - Waseem Aslam. He escorted me to his desk, asked me what I was looking to accomplish with this visit, signed me in, and quickly prepared the car I was looking to purchase. After a sufficient test drive, I told him I'd like to look at numbers to see if we could make something work with the constraint that I only had 45 minutes before I had to leave for a prior commitment. Within 2 minutes or so, Waseem and the Assistant Sales Manager, Roscoe Gist, brought me back an easy to understand purchase invoice. Roscoe walked me through each of the line items, clearly explaining and breaking down all the fees. Roscoe was extremely transparent and every fee was expanded to the cent. After a brief discussion around some of the the numbers, they made a quick adjustment to the invoice and left it with me. I told them I'd have to check in with my partner and asked them to give me a few minutes to look at the figures. Without any hesitation, they gave me adequate space and time to consult with my better half. After I hung up the phone, I sat back down with Roscoe and Waseem to make final tweaks to the invoice before committing to the purchase. They even let me ring the GONG once we agreed on a price! You read that correctly: a G-O-N-G, Gong. Seriously... how much more fun can car buying be? Waseem was extremely efficient and knowledgeable about the loan signing process. He pre-filled all the initial paperwork with as much information as possible to make the documentation preparation happen swiftly. When all the documents were ready, the New Car Sales Manager, Jeremy Ransom, escorted me to his office and talked me through a variety of additional products the dealership offers its customers. He was extremely educational, informative, and offered great value. After discussing all of the options, we signed paperwork that had identical numbers to the ones on the invoice presented by Waseem and Roscoe. Within an hour of agreeing on an out-the-door price (which was only an hour after I walked into the dealership), I walked out of the dealership with a sporty new purchase to my name. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service, respect, transparency, and flexibility that Waseem, Roscoe, and Jeremy showed throughout the negotiation and signing. Truly one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Plus, did I mention that I was allowed to hit the GONG?! 5 stars all around. read more
