It is absolutely unacceptable how this dealership takes care of their guests. I waited 4+ hours alone for my car to be towed to a safe location at night. Next, I explained throughly what I wanted done to replace my car keys and not pay extra since I have another one on hand. The service department ignored & gave false information to where I MUST pay $320 with guarantee I didn't have to. In addition, they charge for storage for your vehicle. The service department is very unreasonable, lacks in understanding for young women that live alone and are in college, and deem matters to be reviewed on their OWN time. I recommend anyone to go to other locations in the valley if possible. I would have never been treated like this in Tempe or Scottsdale. Very disappointed, very upset, and not satisfied in the slightest. This USA complete outrage, thank you Showcase Honda for only wanting the $$$$$ for mediocre work. read more

They did an amazing job with my deal. They were very friendly and we have asked a lot of questions but they were very patient. They talked to us every step of the way and allowed us to look for the insurance before buying the car. Thank you very much Hassan for helping us! read more

Well, initially I thought things were going well. I thought I had found the car I was looking for. I got financed and was assured that I was getting a great vehicle in a Honda Pilot. That is until roughly 8 months after purchase and getting an oil change it was brought to my attention that I needed deeper service. This "deeper service" was in the form of a bad catalytic converter which needed to be replaced? Cost = $10,000.00 (WTH) Not only was this devastating but they refused to compromise in helping with the vehicle they assured me was a dependable great Honda product. So now I have a useless vehicle I can't drive. Looking for answer and maybe a lawyer... read more

I'm not sure where all these positive reviews came from. Personally I had a different experience with Showcase as this was the worst sales experience I have encountered. This is a review for their sales and finance department, I cannot speak for their service department. I would rate -5 stars if that was an option. Showcase Honda sold me a car they already sold to someone else who was flying in from California, demanded I return it the morning after I took it home, 10 minutes before my shift (a car I signed for), told me a date a new car would arrive, pushed that out to a week longer than promised, made me sign 3 contracts for all their mistakes, also made me come to the dealer on 5 separate occasions, and then pulled my credit a 2nd time without my permission (no disclosure to me, HIGHLY illegal) The reason I "needed to return it ASAP" was because "the vehicle had already been registered with the state in the original buyers name." Later to find out when signing my 3RD contract that they don't register with the state until pickup. These poor excuses for men straight up lied to get the original car back... this is the number one thing they teach you not to do as a car salesmen and they couldn't even nail the fundementals. Based purely on my experience with Showcase Honda I can not recommend them in any capacity due to their incompetence. They dropped the ball on all accounts (sales, financing, and all the way up to their GM). In every interaction I had with them, a member of their team would apologize, but then blame the market or their technology. Not one soul in that dealership had humility or took true responsibility for what happened. Whether or not you are purchasing your first car or dream car look elsewhere unless you absolutely have to in this crazy COVID market. If you made it to the end of this review enjoy these extremely gorgeous pictures of this beautiful car, it was the only redeeming factor of this botched experience... read more

Buyer beware! Their Finance department tells you one thing and puts something completely different in the contract. They literally asked me for more money 4 days after the deal was done. And the company doesn't take responsibility. It's basically pay more or return the vehicle. They tried to do this twice with me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. There are plenty of good dealers out there that will treat you right and not try to pull one over in you. I'm reference to Josh's response, the finance person promised me a specific out the door price and didn't obligate it. This wasn't the banks issue. This was clearly mistakes made by employees of the dealer. read more

Worst experience dealing with managers EVER! The sales guy Victor is great and not pushy at all. The negotiations went from manager Austin who talked to us like we were idiots to Rocky. Rocky was completely condescending and extremely rude, talking over my boyfriend Mitch. He saw that he is black and treated him with profound arrogance as soon as he saw him. This felt like a racial attack. Rocky brought out a whole different work paper and when we asked where was the paperwork we had started with Austin they brought out the CRUMBLED paper! SOMEONE did not like what we proposed so instead of being a professional and working with us Rocky acted out like the small person he is. We left. Not giving this place my $$. Typical high pressure high stress use everything they can think of to get every last penny out of you. I purchased a used vehicle in 2019 and am constantly harassed over email and phone calls to upgrade despite each time requesting to be taken off the call list. Because of this exclusively , Showcase Honda will never receive my business again. Nothing I say has changed how these calls go and they are causing me distress. I have been unable to get through to anyone and when transferred to management, I am sent straight to voicemail without any response in MONTHS. This is shameful, rude and at this point, straight up harassment. I am not sure what else to do but share this experience to prevent others from experiencing this as it is horrible. As general manager, I hold Jerry Green personally responsible for this abuse. read more

My experience with showcase honda was actually not bad like i thought it may be. my experience nissan was TERRIBLE. It did take forever as it does with any dealership, but Showcase Honda was immensely helpful. Sasa is who I met with first & he helped me through the entire process and was SO friendly. No one was pushy and his manager Tim Mitchell quite literally worked for two days straight to get me into a car within my budget and with all the features i was looking for. They were helpful with every question and offered me many options with my questions. The branch manager Trey was also incredibly helpful. I'd have to say of all experiences, this one made me feel like going to the dealership was no longer a "scary" experience where people push you into a car you don't want simply for commission. I never got that feeling once especially from Tim. I felt he genuinely wanted to help me. I would definitely recommend this location. (will update review if anything changes but this was by far a good experience and the people were very helpful!) If I am to add a second car I will be going here! read more

Purchase 10 months ago (2nd time purchasing-can't do that again) and I didn't have the best experience. Salesman Nicolas L was so deceiving. He rushed me, made remarks saying I would be dumb if I didn't take the deal, made unprofessional remarks. I was lied to about how much things would be at the end and told "not to worry about it." I should've left but I should've also been given the opportunity to have their wrong made right. Filled out a survey and didn't give 10s and yeses. Financial advisor Sam M reached out and wondered why. Told her my experience. She reached out to her manager James C and I was called and told "sorry" in hopes of me giving a better response to a follow up survey. I did because I felt that it was right for me to do. (Wrong again) I was told there was nothing that could be done to the deal nor was anything offered. I asked for a follow up email reiterating what was said. I was told to reach out in the future to refinance or trade it in. I cannot bring myself to call because I cannot imagine another round of grievance from this place. After I politely declined their overpriced recommendations, my car suddenly broke down. When I had it TOWED back, they claimed there were 8 major issues with my car, amounting to $3,000. Before that, I had never seen a single warning light on my dashboard, but now all the lights were on. I don't want to outright accuse them of sabotaging my vehicle, but that's exactly how it feels--especially considering other similar reviews. Always get a second opinion if you bring your car here! Another update, again for the Service Department. A few weeks ago one of the front headlight bulbs of my car needed replacement. I went to an auto parts place and while they had the lamp, they were unfamiliar with the replacement procedure. Another repair establishment said they needed to remove the wheel, etc to get to the lamp - not what the car's manual says, plus they were going to charge a significant sum for the whole procedure. Finally I brought the car to Showcase Honda Service and they did it in just a few minutes, charging only for the cost of the front headlight lamp which was pretty inexpensive at their parts shop. Today my old battery, which was overdue for replacement, was on its death throes and fortunately I was able to start the car and bring it here. It did not take them long to replace the battery and the cost was pretty typical for a battery replacement. Fast, efficient, courteous service - I definitely like that. read more

DO NOT BUY USED CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY'LL SELL YOU A LEMON! I'm still doing research But I'll probably be filing a complaint with the Consumer Advocate at the Attorney General's office about this horrible and unethical experience! In mid January of this year I purchased a used Automatic 2019 Chevy Malibu at 76K mileage from these people. And not even 6 months into owning it, my transmission went out on me and just stopped working while I was driving on the freeway! So I end up getting it towed to the dealership to see what they can do for me, Come to find out I have to pay them almost $6000 out of pocket to replace the transmission, which is not something I can just fork out. I'm a 20 year old college student working a construction job. I was asked if I Purchased a car warranty to help pay for repairs and I wasn't sure because I don't remember my salesman discussing or bringing up anything about warranties. So I looked at my contract and found out that I didn't purchase one, and Gerardo with service told me there's nothing they can do to help me, not even with monthly installments. I was frustrated because he had the audacity to ask if I have Any family I can just borrow $6K from! NO! Not everybody has a support system they can just lean on, not especially for something as major as a new transmission! I really just feel like This dealership took advantage of how young and "dumb" I might be, because I was never told about a car warranty! When the sale was being finalized, my salesman David just told me to sign here and there and that I'm good to go. I've been told dealerships are normally eager to sell those warranties, why wouldn't they it's an extra few grand in their pocket? BECAUSE THEY SOLD ME A LEMON. And I say it's a lemon because when my car broke finally broke down, I realized that it's actually had an issue with the transmission since the first week I bought it! For example I would step the gas, not even pedal to the medal, but my car wouldn't accelerate as fast as I would step on it, even if it was only to get from 0- 35 mph. It would go slow for a second or 2 then it would just start gunning it out of nowhere and it would do that whenever I tried to accelerate too quick, regardless of how fast or slow I was already going. Yes I did tell them about this, when David called me for a 10-day checkup. All he had to tell me was that it was normal and just how the economy mode works and that I wouldn't have to bring it in to the shop, so I trusted him once again even though I know how a car feels when it accelerates, and looking back at it that was not normal at all! So My car has just been sitting at the dealership, I actually have to get it towed out too because they won't work on it Until I come up with the money. And I'm shocked because what kind of shop asks for full payment for something that major in the first place? at the very least Half should be paid to start the work and the other half when it's finished. I might not have concrete proof but doing research, asking around, thinking back on everything since the day I purchased it, they knew my car would break And that I would be back to give them more money! I just feel like they got me good. VERY disappointed as a first-time buyer especially since my life- school, work, etc. REVOLVES around that car. And now I'm paying monthly for a car that's out of commission! While also having to Save up to get it back! Very, very sad. Also disappointed in myself because had I seen how many 1 star reviews this dealership has, I wouldn't have even gotten near it! PLEASE everyone Do yourself a favor and do not even step foot into this dealership! They don't care about you from the start, they're just looking to get paid! read more

My review is 100% based on my disappointing experience that I had with Sean Hoopes, Service Director @ Showcase. Sean could use some training around customer experience management and empathy. Imagine I make an appointment on the website and I drive about 30 mins, wait about 90 mins only to be told that they can't get me in. Kevin, the Service Advisor was working hard to do what he could to get me in and I do believe he tried his best with no avail. When Kevin told me that he couldn't get me in (even though I was able to successfully schedule an appointment on the website), I asked to speak with a manager. This is where Sean Hoopes comes over and proceeds to completely fail on customer experience and empathy. I explain to Sean that I made an appointment on the website for 3pm, that I am a very loyal customer (drive 30 minutes to get to Showcase based on loyalty) and that in between my scheduled 3pm appointment time and the 6pm close time that I was at least hoping to have the vehicle diagnosed. At the time that I was having the conversation with Sean it was around 4:30 - so we still had more time before closing time. Rather than Sean attempt to listen to understand, to have empathy and appreciation for the customer, Sean goes into corporate square manager mode and tells me that they can't get me in, that they need more time to diagnose. I proceeded to remind Sean that I am a very loyal customer and that I drove about 30 minutes to get there and then ask again if they could at least diagnose the vehicle - his corporate square manager lack of empathy response was "no, sorry". I then respond with ok, I guess loyalty doesn't mean anything I will take my business elsewhere. He then responds in his corporate square manager lack of empathy response: "If we have been making you happy for this long, I trust that one minor mishap will not ruin the relationship" . This response didn't provide any comfort, if anything it made me more disappointed. The fact that Sean had the responsibility, the authority, the customer obligation and time in his hands to attempt to make things right but choose not to was probably my biggest source of disappointment. It is one thing if I never brought it to Sean's attention he could then say "if I only knew I could have done something about it" but based on my experience it seems as if Sean just does not care about the customer/customer experience. So, obviously I drive away and go to another big Honda Dealership the next day. At this dealership - they were able to diagnose my vehicle in 2 hours and because they did not have the part on hand they gave me a loaner vehicle free of charge while they take their time to fix my vehicle. This experience that I had with the 2nd Dealer is exactly what Sean should have done. Sean could have (if he was leading with a customer first approach and empathy) told me the customer - we appreciate your business and because we are not able to get you in today, we will keep your vehicle and provide you with a free loaner vehicle while your car is being fixed. Recommendation to senior leadership: make sure that Sean and other managers/directors are always striving for a win/win outcome and leading with a customer first and empathy approach. Think about how the customer feels and based on how the customer feels determine the best course of action. If you are the customer does this best course of action feel good? If the answer is no, change course accordingly with a win/win outcome. Showcase Honda: you lost my business forever! Please make sure to get Sean Hoopes, and any/all managers and directors training so that the outcome is a win for the business and a win for the customer while incorporating customer first and customer empathy! Make sure that any and all employees operate in a mode of they are the difference maker, because they are as everything else is a commodity (I can get my Honda fixed at a lot of places but the experience that I have with employees is what determines everything). read more

HORRENDOUS This is the worst dealership to buy a car, period. I even filed a complaint with the Attorney General because the sales managers did not listen to me. It is all nice and friendly service before you take delivery of the car but after that, they show you how they really are; nasty, unpleasant and offensive. I bought a preowned vehicle and the dealership did NOT allow for a vehicle inspection before delivery, which is one of your rights by the way even it is preowned!!! I was made to sign the paperwork with the finance manager where the paperwork stated that "I had done a vehicle inspection and was satisfied with the car;" because the finance manager promised that even though I was signing everything to get out of there ASAP; they would still do a vehicle inspection with me before taking delivery of the car and IF I did NOT like the vehicle after doing the inspection, I did not have to take the car. Long story short, after I finished signing the paperwork with the finance manager -surprise, surprise: everyone at the dealership had disappeared and all I was given were the keys to the car. Without an inspection, I drove my vehicle home and next thing you know, the bumper had fallen off! I contacted the sales manager, AUSTIN and I texted him pictures of the bumper, AUSTIN said to bring the vehicle in to service. So, I did just that, took the vehicle in for service and Michael Valenzuela said all the bumper needed was a "bracket and clips." They ordered the bracket and I brought the vehicle back the following week. After the service department worked on the bumper, it looked even worse-the lower bumper was loose and still hanging; the fog lights were not even lining up with the lower bumper and there was a HUGE gap between the lower and upper bumper.  Stupid AUSTIN kept trying to make me believe that "bumpers are flexible and that is the way it's supposed to be."  After arguing with idiotic AUSTIN about the bumper not being fixed right, AUSTIN brought another idiot, GREG SPANOS. Kept going back and forth with GREG about the bumper not being fixed right and only made worse.  GREG then finally decided to keep the vehicle and was going to have a third-party work on it. I spent a month trying to get my bumper repaired and all these idiots managed to do was make it worse. GREG ended up making the bumper gap bigger and inserting adhesive in-between the bumpers, GREG even messed up the bumper even more by covering the bumper with black touch-up paint (which did not even match the vehicle's color). During all this time; I called so many times to speak to the General Manager and he was never available [how convenient]. I left messages and the GM never returned my call, it was always dumb and dumber: AUSTIN and GREG that returned my calls. A month went by and they refused to fix my bumper; now with a lower bumper even worse than at first my only option was to file a complaint with the Attorney General. A couple of days later, I received a call from PAM BLACKLEDGE (the controller) regarding my complaint; PAM said they would "professionally repair my bumper" and that I would be dealing with the service director, SEAN HOOPES. Next, I made and appointment with SEAN and we both looked at the vehicle.  We agreed to leave the vehicle at the shop for repair; while I was there I told the service department that the car was vibrating when braking from high speeds; since the vehicle had an extended warranty why not get it fixed at the same time and save a trip?  A few days later, when I picked up my vehicle; yes they replaced the lower-bumper but there were still gaps between the bumpers and the touch-up paint was never removed. In short; the bumper did not look 100% [and yes, even if it is a preowned vehicle, if the job would have been done right, then it would have looked and feel right!] *****As of today, the bumper has fallen apart again and remains hanging and its only been 1.5 month since they worked on it. But that it not all; remember the vibration? The dealer went ahead and resurfaced the front rotors [even though I didn't ask them to].  Now, the brakes are grinding after I release the brake. Again, SEAN and PAM and MICHAEL refused to make this right; they said that brake grinding is normal and that is the way it always is. If it was normal, then the car would do the grinding from the factory, no?  Why wasn't the grinding there at first? I took in the car to get it inspected somewhere else, and they confirmed the resurfacing of the rotors had been done incorrectly and those needed to be resurfaced again; I was also informed that anytime you resurface the rotors you MUST replace the brake pads [which they completely ignored at Showcase Honda and they knew they were doing a bad job].  Of course; Showcase Honda also refused to repair their second mistake. Moral of the story; NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dishonest and trickster dealership. read more

Showcase Honda May 29, 2023 Pedrovalles909 For my first time buying a Car, it was horrible.  On memorial day May 29 2023 Monday i bought my first car. The Car is great for the year and mileage but the staff at the dealership was something. The vehicle had some scratches on it, that I had no issues but they offer to have the Car touched up for free. Was told to bring the Car the next day Tuesday May 30 2023 but the salesmen Granger was not there and was told to come back the next day. I came the next day May 31 2023 Wednesday and was told I need to bring back the the next day. Now it's Thurday and was told to leave the car over night and have them work on the Car on Friday June 2 2023. Now today is Friday and my fmaily goes to pick up the car but they can't find the Car for 30 minutes. Leaving me abd my Family stress about the Car, we had to threaten them about calling the police. They found the Car but the worst thing about this the car was not worked on Same Scatches where there and they did nothing to it. What was the point of me leaving my Car there and they did nothing too it. All that stress and broken promises form our Salesmen Granger and the staff at the Honda Showcase on Camelback. Don't get me started on the second key Granger promised me he would give me at discount for 65 dollars. Worst of all finally when we had the car back and chewed them. They only offer to bring back the car other day for them keep for a day or until Modnay June 5 2023. Also they offer to fill up my car tank but my take was 3 quarter filled. That would be only 10 dollars of gas. F that!. All of this could have been avoided if Granger just sold the car to me and not offer me their services for free or at a discount. read more

I was on the hunt for a new car and unfortunately got lured into Showcase Honda. Our family has owned Honda for 20 years, but this dealership in particular really didn't live up to the standard I hold Honda to. Jonathan Ciazza promised me a price quote on a new HRV and made me put down a $500 deposit on the car over the phone. When I went to the dealership the next day for the car, I found out that the car that was waiting for me was not the car I had asked for. I felt so deceived, and he had the nerve to act like I was the one being unreasonable by walking out on his "great offer." He wanted me to pay extra for the car that I actually wanted, even though that wasn't the price we agreed to. This place is full of deceptive sales tactics, and I would never have expected this from a Honda dealership. They've lost my business forever! read more

These lazy turds sold me a car with old transmission fluid in it. You'd think a dealer charging top dollar for a car would send you off with new/full fluids. They even "inspected" my entire car. Words can't even begin to describe the level of professionalism and care given to me while purchasing my car. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car. Tyler and Lee in finance, and Joe's Manager, Mike, were all very helpful throughout the process too. Although I had to drive my car 24 hours home, it was well worth the trip. Thanks again Showcase for being the perfect example of how easy the sales process should be. Does all BS still give you the right to not give me my keys back when I had to ask 8 times. ?

Will never step foot in this place again or any other Berkshire Hathaway owned dealership. Went in today to purchase a vehicle listed at just over $17k. Once we sat down they tried to sell it for $20k, plus additional fees BEFORE tax, title, and license. All together they wanted over $24k for the vehicle. And the sales person said "we just do that to get you in the door". And then claimed "that's all dealerships". Completely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. It pains me that these business practices have been accepted by others to be able to stay in business. I would never recommend. Their loss, because we were going to be in the market for a second vehicle within a year or less. Update after their reply: No, I will not be calling or working with you, and I have recommended to others to not work with you either. That was completely unprofessional and there's zero excuse for that. read more

My major problem with this dealer lies in the finance office. After declining any and all service packages THREE TIMES, the dealer decided to add one anyways and tell me that it was "free". Two problems: It was not free, it was full priced. Two, this is incredibly dishonest and unethical behavior. They were just hoping that since they told me it was free I would believe them and not look at the itemized breakdown of costs. No apologies, no explanation, nothing. Make sure to read everything before signing the dotted line people! Additionally I feel like I should mention this cause I really hate when dealers do this. The advertised price on their site is not what you will actually pay. Make sure to ask for the out-the-door price with a breakdown of all costs/fees cause there will most likely be $4000 in dealer add on accessories that no-one actually wants. In the end Showcase Honda is like most dealers these days, which is not pleasant. But what really angered me was what they tried to pull in finance. Never again Showcase Honda. read more

Bought an overpriced ass car here, mostly mechanically sound but cosmetically FUCKED, and they still sold it to me way above what it was worth and i was in a situation where i needed a car so i bought. Anyway, I think it's fucked for a dealership as big as y'all to let something like this slide past inspections, especially considering you sold it to me way too high. I can keep submitting this as long as i need to to keep you dirty ass mfs from selling shit like this to anyone else, keep deleting me, it's in the drafts. I got y'all on tape. Makes me wonder wtf else is wrong with my car. I wish y'all hell read more
